Miguel RI reserved my truck weeks ahead of my scheduled move day and on the day before when I was suppose to pick up the truck and appliance dolly I was told that I would need to pick it up at a different location. Which okay that's fine and yes they would have an appliance dolly there. Arrived at 7 am as instructed and the business was locked up. Called the number on the gate and nothing so I called U-Haul at the number they called my on and they informed "oh yes that location is not opened on Saturday. So upgraded me to a bigger truck at a different location across town for 9 am in the morning assuring me that they would have an appliance dolly. When arriving the truck still had a trailer attached (which they detached) but it was on empty. No appliance dolly, no extra stuff at all at this location. Was told to fill it enough to leave a 1/4 of a tank (why should I pay for gas I would not be using?) When we opened the back of the truck my son-in-law found a large oil spill by slipping on it and almost busting his head open. So after spending most of the morning getting a truck I reserved weeks ago and finding out the appliance dolly I reserved was rented out because I did not pick it up at the original location. But I was not told that either I was told they would have on at the location I would pick the truck up at. My brother threw his back out because we didn't have the promised equipment which I would have procured myself if I had known instead of false promises. I would not recommend U-Haul in California.
