Took me 2 hours literally calling back to back to get through and when I finally did, he was short and not very helpful then hung up on me. Tank was under half when we got it, was told to make sure it was "the same as when we got it". They told me originally it was fine to have my grandpa pick up the truck for me to drop off to my place so I could pack for the driver to drive it down for me to my new place in Vic. They then said they couldn't do that when my grandpa went to pick it up and my moving day was delayed because they couldn't load the truck til after the second driver could pick up. Regardless if this is protocol or not, they said it was okay to do prior to picking up. They also said it was fine to use a debit/visa to purchase the rental and when it came to paying, retracted that and said it was going to be an extra 100 bucks for cash or the original amount they stated before pick up. Regardless of this was all part of uhauls agreements, these guys were disorganized, were impossible to reach and communication was absolutely horrid. I would never recommend these guys to rent from, ever. What should have been a few hour trip, ended up taking my movers and driver's til close to midnight and I had to hire 3 different drivers to help because of they're mix ups and trying to coordinate help because I don't drive Oh and also, they were supposed to designate drop off to a location nearest to me, instead, they designated drop off literally across town, half hour to 45 minute drive from me, which costed me another 100 bucks in fuel I couldn't afford to drive it all the way across town and more costs to hire someone else to help pick up from my new place and drop off across town because my second driver couldn't drive that far after the drive from up island. Overall, this experience with them, was absolutely horrible and am glad I never have to deal with guys like this ever again. Not worth my money.Shannon B.
The address was one location the sign was a different location then back to the first location to pick up the uhual. The truck itself was clean and drove very well. The biggest problem is you get the truck with no gas in it and supposed to bring it back empty. Not knowing how much gas you are going to use . They should go back to having a full tank then bringing it back with a full tank. I had to bring it back with gas left. That is a cost factor.Sherrill M.

Inside tire has been blown out for months I have pictures to prove it. That was never stated also my tire went flat and was stranded for almost 5 hours. Wasted over half the day that I had to pay for complete disregard for these truck only out to make money. Not worried about customer safety at all.Mary P.

There were locations much closer than this one for drop-off. I tild the booking agent that and she ignored me without providing a reason for having to drive further to this location. If there is a reason for this I would suggest sharing with customers.Angela S.

Truck ran well but the inside of the box was covered in something sticky, so much so that most of our boxes and furniture had it one them as well. So - when we put them in our house now our floors all have to be cleaned.. The only thing that makes me recommend them is the fact that they have lots of trucks available..Byron L.

The agent was refusing to accept the vehicle saying there was major damage when it wasn't even dented and we told him the scuff wasn't ours. We then phoned the Grande Prarie location and they confirmed the scuff was there before it was rented. They still didn't want to accept it and finally accepted after sending pictures to the manager of the Grande Prairie uhaul and being told again it was not our damage. Very frustrating after a long trip. Took over20 minutes to settle.Carol H.

I found it difficult finding/extracting the truck once found, had a trailer park resident yelling at me as she seemed unaware that she was living in a parking lot. The man who helped me out was very good.Brian W.

Returned the van with more fuel thank I received it with. Of course I didn't not receive any money back but of course was charged more money because I went slightly over my allowed mileage. I did not get a receipt showing my allowed mileage or a picture of a before and after of the odometerMax R.

I really wasn't impressed at checkout.....with my $275 deposit.. I received $72 back....what happened, the rental was $33/day or close to that, port alberni to nanaimo and back, $150 mileage charged. I paid less then this when I rented from uhaul from Victoria to nanaimo and back....I had the moving van for 8 hours.Susan J.
Was a nice newer truck, however the interior was filthy and smelled like rotten milk. I did not add to the mess yet I was then charged a $25 cleaning fee after I returned it.chris N.

The area where the uhauls are kept is in a cheap run down motel with garbage everywhere. I was concerned about leaving my vehicle there. You have to walk across the street and deal with petro can workers. When checking out, the agent ripped me off on gas. I have the contract which shows between 3/4 to full and a pic that shows that reading upon return. He even was there when I filed the truck with $50, yet he charged me $24 and change for a gas charge. I argued and showed him the contract and current gas reading pic, but he refused. There was marijuana all over the floor which I did not realize until I had went to clean and disinfect cab of truck. There was coffee spilled all over console there were pop cans rolling around on floor while I was driving. It looked like fuel tank was full but was not so in the end I actually added close to $60 more in fuel than I should have. One good thing the truck ran excellent!Michelle C.

Location for getting and dropping off keys and dealing with staff etc is actually the gas station across the street (only the trucks are parked at the Inn). Would be better if the name and address were for the gas station.RYAN G.

Uhaul customer services found a trailer I needed at last minute. Drop off location was very easy to find. Over all... was a great experience.Chad M.
Car dolly worked well. A lot of ice built up on the hold done straps and took a while to unhook. Unfortunately, I didn't get to clean dolly and it was quite encrusted with filthy ice when I returned it. I hopefully made up for this by returning equipment to a uhaul a bit farther than initially planned. Thanks U-HaulMarten S.

Couldn't use the 24-7 service we requested... had to wait till the location had the U-Haul employee there to get the keys... very inconvenient.. And we had requested and paid for a dollie, and there wasn't one in the truck and we still paid for it... not impressed...Brandon A.

We arrived, nobody was there to help. There was a drug deal happening right in front of us in room 23. Not a place I enjoyed having my 4 month old daughter in the car with me. Very shady. Very uncomfortable. I went to the location lobby - doors were locked. I called, no answer. I called several times before getting an answer which I was then told to go to the gas station across the street. So I went. They had no idea a uhaul was being rented that day. My reservation was at 10am and I didn't get the truck until 11. We did the paper work at the gas station. The truck was in good shape, but I had to go back to the shady area to get it where another drug deal was happening at room 23. The blankets were not folded in the truck and it hadn't been swept out. I had originally chose my pickup location at a different address, and they changed it to this location the night before.Chelsea R.

It was a strange set up. The trucks were at a motel on one side of the 3 lane road and the check in was at a gas station on the other side of the road. Had to go back and forth between the two. It was confusing.Kevin G.
