The person renting the vehicle, was not able to properly use the computer, or was not knowledgeable of how to use it. It was not a pleasant experience waiting on them, as they had to call for help. I will not rent from Uhaul again if I can help it.Ken M.

There was damage to drivers door at pick up but employee assured me that the stickers placed on it showed that I received it with door damage. To improve: the stickers could have been there before I pointed it out. Great ride and power on the highway. I got one of the newer trucks, comfortable and clean.Oleta K M.

My rental was moved to a different location without notice. I appreciate that U-Haul was able to help me find a reasonable alternative close by, but I was distressed by the fact that I was not explicitly notified that my pickup location had changed. Instead, a second rental reservation appeared on my account without notice, and I had to be informed by the clerk at my preferred drop-off location that this was an intentional change. I suspect that not everyone who rents from U-Haul has the same level of flexibility when it comes to driving to a second location to pick up their truck, so explicit notice of these changes would be greatly appreciated.James H.

The location was fine, but I feel like the reservation line should have informed me of the price changes from the reservations I had made online to the changes I felt surprised by at the location. I was not pleased to be paying more for the daily insurance and mileage, after being called to have to change my location and vehicle preferenceKaren E.

When I dropped off I had to unhook the trailer. However not a big deal. Thank youJohn W.
Truck's oil light was on. We asked about it and we're told not to worry about it that maintenance would be done after we turned it in. That was disconcerting but it was close to closing time and they had no other trucks so we were stuck. Later when we looked down at the gas indicator, we saw it only had 1/4 of a tank not the 1/2 they put on the contractor. The truck had problems shifting and the air conditioner worked only intermittently.Whitney R.

A Avanti did a fantastic job taking care of me when the U-Haul system went down the morning of 2/24/18. With their service being out nationwide, I was scared that our move would be delayed, and that we would have a hard time trying to find something else to suit our needs. Fortunately, Gayle kept trying and was eventually able to get us out the door with a manual contract. Our move continued as planned and we were even given a discount because of the service being down. While I am disappointed with U-Haul's system, I am extremely impressed that A Avanti went above and beyond to help us, even when they could have turned us away. My suggestion would be to refrain from updating your system on the busiest day of the week.April M.
