Customers want to be able to call the location to speak to a live person on the phone to help them set up their rentals instead of dealing with a website that delays the process by listing phone numbers that put you on hold or hang up on you. The cab wreaked of cigarette smoke, and the floor was dirty. There was a bag of non-UHaul moving blankets and two jackets left in the cargo area. The UHaul moving blanket zippered bag was empty. The office staff was amicable and efficient and answered every question I asked. I was just a bit disappointed with the vehicle.THOMAS D.

Although the personnel at the location did the best they could, I was not satisfied at all with the truck, neither were there any last minute supplies to shop for at this location. Also, I ordered 12 furniture covers and was charged for 12, but only received 5. Very disappointed with UHaul this time around. Moreover, what would we do if we are dissatisfied with the condition of the truck? Or are we stuck with that truck in whatever shape its in? The truck was 'SUBPAR'! I was a little bit offended, the air conditioner did not work, and yes it was needed. The engine and transmission were so out of wack, that I must have used 3 times as much gas than what would have necessary had that truck been maintained properly. Unless it was on a decline, the truck had a hard time getting up to 55mph, that is wasting time and energy. Just an unhappy experience overall. Thank you for taking this review in consideration. Used online rental and selected what I wanted at the location I needed it, but afterwards received a phone call saying the van I wanted wasn't available at that site. So I had to drive 3-4 miles out of my way to pickup the van. The van was parked near a snow pile, so I had to walk through the 4 plus inches of snow to get into the van.COLLEENMAUREEN H.

Do something about the app. I was supposed to pickup the vehicle at 7:30 AM. I verified this the day before. I even did the pre checking process. When I got there the app now said an 8:30 checkin with hand delivery. The location opened at 8:30. I couldn't wait an hour because I had to meet the cable guy. I lost hours on my move. What's wrong with the app? Or did the location change it? Can you look at this rental and let me know?BRIAN S.
I just wanted to thank the staff at U-Haul 4 Marshall Rd Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 because I forgot 1 item in the truck I rented, and they found it and kept it at the office. When I called and described the item, they immediately told me they found it and they have it. I am really glad I did not lose that item, and this is thanks to the professionalism of the people working there. Thank you again.Loic F.

When estimating mileage and costs, it was based on the closest location to us said it had availability. We had to pay more because your website had inventory mishandled. As a courtesy to customers, please consider not charging them the extra miles they have to drive to and from when they book a different location and are switched to another.Jennifer C.

Everything was great except when we arrived at the apartment we realized none of the tie down straps were in the truck. We had to make two trips because we could securely stack the furniture on top of each other.Rachel D.

Renter that had van before me was over an hour late to return it. The staff was great and offered me a bigger truck but in the end it cost me over 100 dollars more because of gas and extra tolls for not being able to take the truck on certain highways. Very upset with the extra money I had to spendJESSICAM P.
The man at the store was very rude. The lady was very nice. Man tried telling me there was an order ahead of me at 1:30 pm and that if I couldn't bring the truck back before 1 pm I couldn't have a truck (I requested three hours of use when booking online) My reservation was for 10:30 am. I explained that it is impossible for the reeservation at 1:30 pm to be ahead of the 10:30 am reservation 1:30 pm comes after 10:30 am does it not? How is the 1:30 client's reservation any more meaningful than my own? Rather than explaining why the 1:30 pm reservation somehow came ahead of my 10:30 am reservation the man walked away mid-conversation. Very unprofessional. The lady took care of me very well and gave me the 15' truck for the price of the 10'.Christopher R.
The young man who helped me was absolutely wonderful. So polite and took care of the billing accurately and explained all the charges and how they bill. Upon return he went right out to the truck and finalized my bill just as he had explained earlier. Uhaul def should acknowledge this young man and promote him!Kristen H.

You guys and gals are awesome. I come to this location for various to do's. Its always a pleasant experience. I appreciate all your help and patience especially at this difficult time. I really appreciate the savings also A great place to rent a Uhaul, send off or pick up UPS, or just send it receive a simple fax. They do so much here. The first van had low the low tire pressure sign on. I drove about a mile and noticed that sign was illuminated. I brought the van back. I received nothing but attitude from the clerk. He asked me which tire, how do I know? I was going on the low tire symbol. There was a second van but it took a long time to get approval from U-Haul, so the clerk said, for me to switch vans. By now I was off the schedule I had planned. The first van was wiped down due to COVID, the second one was not, I did it. I had reserved a dolly, finally got one after some issues. The clerk took the dolly out of the first van and did not let me know he placed it on the pavement behind the second van. He had put it on the first van for me but not the second. I got in to leave and looked in the back for the dolly. It was not there. I got out and as the clerk was walking away I asked where is the do.ly. He fired of a rude comment that I could get it my self, it is behind the van. If I had not looked for the dolly I would have backed over it. I was to keep the van for 24 hours, I returned it within six as I did not want to do business with this U-Haul rental. I changed my plans for the day to return the van early.Lyn H.

Have one person communicate with another.. too many people were involved with my rental. Not everyone was on board with what was going on. One person said we will waive the fee if you go longer than time due back someone else said I'm going to charge you another day.. very confusing.Maryanne M.
