My only complaint is the arrival time communication was unclear. I was told “absolutely you can arrive at 7:30am” only to find out they won’t lend me the truck until 8:00am. Overall, the 20’ truck operated very well and I was satisfied with the overall price.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkTo start, I had a reservation for the 2560 South Rd. Poughkeepsie location for 10 am Saturday - 15FT truck. I arrived at 10am sharp and was told that the person in front of me hadn’t return the truck yet. I suggested the worker call the person and they did but the person did not answer either of the times. I asked if I could get transferred and they said no. I asked again after calling the Dispatch number they gave me (which didn’t answer) and they said I could try the customer service hotline. I tried that number was able to get a 15FT truck at the 4 Marshall Rd. Location. Before leaving the Poughkeepsie office I demanded compensation for this issue and they said I’d get refunded $50. I have yet to see that yet. I then went this the 4 Marshall Rd. Location (now an hour past when I needed the truck) and was able to get a truck. I had to check in manually online because their systems were down. I later get a call from a number asking if I still need a truck. I said no because I have one already. I was then told that the check in never went through (not my problem, I saw the confirmation). So I had to then re check in and redo the same form I already completed. While the truck itself was good, the staff at the Poughkeepsie office was not very helpful and I still have yet to receive the refund I was promised. Please provide an update.
Zachary DThis location is extremely convenient for me. They are always very professional and helpful. Ive rented a truck 3 times so far and havnt had any problems at all. The staff also gets me moving quickly but they are also patient when I have questions or need assistance
daniel lNothing. This was a seamless and painless transaction from start to finish. I was able to order the truck online and it was ready an hour later. Pick up process was super fast. All my info was already at the store. Drop off was just as easy. Super inexpensive. No hard sell for add ons. 10/10
