The truck drove well enroute to Upstate NY. We had items for three destinations. At the first one, after unloading the items for that stop, the truck would not start. We tried to work with the U-Haul telephone assistance line, but it just said to go online for U-Haul assistance., We were parked in a rural spot with no ability to go online. Only after waiting for 2 hours the truck finally started and we were able to continue the trip. We did pay for insurance, but that did us no good.Billie D.
Make the online system more user friendly. Enter the vehicle type, date/time wanted, and address or zip of customer location and search within a specified mile range. The current system is so frustrating!!Lydia E.

The rental experience and truck itself were both great. However, I think it's important to note the truck's alignment seemed to be off since the steering wheel was not centered when driving straight. There was a bit of a looseness to the steering wheel so I had to constantly fidget back and forth to stay straight in the lane.SHAWN P.

work on getting the trucks to the reservation location. Day of rental neither the truck nor the auto trailer were where they were scheduled to be. I ended traveling over an hour and a half to get to the truck at one location and the trailer at another inconvenient location. a one hour pick up turned to be 4 hours. This resulted in me having to add an extra day to my plans, which i really didn't have.ADRIENNE D.

Reservation for truck at this MD location made through central scheduler for urgent need since reservation for NJ didn't come through. Stuart at location phoned me soon afterward because his system showed 2 other reservations for this truck, including someone already on the way from Delaware. Somehow he worked it out so that we all got trucks. Bravo to him, and to Alicia, at scheduling, who discounted rental without haggling to compensate me for traveling 2 states away for truck. A very stressful cross-country move made easier by these 2 helpful U-Haul reps. I talked to Alicia later, who said she saw no other reservation in her system. U-Haul needs to work out such problems in their computer systems.DAVID L.

I was forced to travel from Dover, DE because the rental I reserved had to be hand delivered but the location was closed. I was then routed 45 mins from my location and an hour from the house I was moving into for which I was charged for the miles and given no credits for my inconvenienceMatthew M.

Stuart and the location staff were excellent. But the Uhaul website and app are AWFUL!! Balky, fiddly, poor instructions. Every time I have used Uhaul in the past several years, whether for packing supplies or to rent equipment, Uhaul's web has been TERRIBLE!!!Severn M.

open up earlier in the morning ( 8:00am ). due to the fact that your "pre-registration " app features do not respond well or sometimes do not work at all. I had difficulty in picking up the truck before opening hours. I tried using the app and logging in. And the app kind of froze up and did not allow me. To do the registration process myself So I ended up having to wait until the facility opened up at 9 a.m. I would like to take advantage of your app and the registration process because I would like to get on the road earlier in the morning with the rental truck. So that was my only issue. Please look into your issues with the mobile app and pre-registration. . The phone I use is an Android.Jose M.

I quite despise the new check-out/check-in system. It took me fully a half hour to complete the check-in. We should get a $20 refund for taking our time to do your job; not a surcharge if we do not. It was merely dark and cold when I checked in. I would have been outraged if I had been expected to do that in a sleet storm (which we aren't expecting here for another 10 hours). And I am male. I can imagine that a woman checking in at many UHaul sites after dark would, on top of this nonsense, be terrified to spend a half hour in the dark, doing your work for them. Great customer service ?? I had left a set of keys in the uhual truck. I called Stewart up on the phone and told him I think I had left my keys behind. He said he would look for me and called me back 5 minutes later saying he found them. I pulled in and he hand delivered the keys to me. A true professional!. Thank you again Stewart!ARTHUR T.
