I was charged double the mileage. I told the clerk and she said there was nothing she could do my card would be charged and that I should have verified my miles. But i did verify my miles and this isn't the first time that I've been overcharged by this U-Haul company I will be reporting it for odometer fraud.Shaquita L.

I was charged an extra 20 for returning my equipment after hours/late when my time was 8pm central time and I returned it at 7:30 central. This is ridiculous! If You're gonna up charge people fees for returning it within the agreed time frame you should let people know or include it on the contract they signed! Women at the store was very rude when I first tried to make the initial reservation I forgot to hit submit so it never processed. When I called the store she told me they didn't have any trucks available. So I went only and submitted my reservation where I then sent my husband to pick up the truck. My daughter said the women was ugly and rude to them as well.Nancy S.
I had reserved 2 dollies with my order. No dollies were supplied with truck. We had to drive out of our way and purchase dollies at Lowe's. My help which I was paying $20 an hour lost about 30 min of productive moving time. All this cost me around $208. Between extra miles driven on uhaul, cost of dollies, and lost labor. Initial experience with U-haul was frustrating .They had canceled my reservation last minute and were not even sorry for it BUT then I got a reservation through the 800 # at the A Storage in Daphne, AL . Much farther away however Lindy and Stephanie could not have been more helpful. Cargo van was clean and comfortable. Customer service at A Storage of Daphne was A+. Wreeked of smoke. Not this locations fault of course but the truck only had 6000 miles on it and the smell was disgusting someone had to have smoked in it with the windows up for many many miles to get it to smell that bad.
