I was extremely disappointed in the fuel policy. I put 23.00 dollars in the tank before I returned the vehicle and from the sheet I was given it appeared I had gone above the line , but was told I had not put enough gas in the tank. The amount needed was confusing to me in regard to the sheet I was viewing. The sheet needs more information , or a better explanation. I tried to put the right amount in but was told that I had not .DAVID M.

When I tried to check the truck in with my phone, I got a message that I didn't have enough memory. I tried my daughters phone and the location would not function, so we were unable to complete the transaction using our phones.DAVID M.

Upon pickup, the truck bed had a dirty diaper, mcdonald's fries, and some other trash. This wasn't a big deal. Once I got inside, I realized there were multiple bottles of urine in the main cabin. It was DISGUSTING! I cleaned them out so I wouldn't be charged. Also when picking up, the first person was very friendly, but the second employee cut her off and said, "did you check that he was approved?". It made me very uncomfortable! I'm done with U-haul!Robert A.

The self return process was not user friendly. It stated to use the link text to me to check in. The link worked until it couldn't find my location. I verified that my location was allowed but it still wouldn't verify. On the check in directions it gave the option to call the 800 number. Unfortunately they weren't able to help me and I had already dropped the keys! I had to spend another 15 minutes trying to download and figure out how to login only to learn I needed pictures! I don't rent trucks often but I hope this process is a little smoother next time! Other than that the staff was super friendly and it was convenient. Thank you!AMANDA L.

The associate Megan was very rude and condescending both in person and over the phone. I also left my charger in one of the van but they said it hasn't been found and it is not in the van. It's not a real big deal since it was my fault but still worth noting.Sean W.

Let them know they need a second verification other than a drivers license. Also, stop advertising that it's only $19 to rent. It was over $100 for me when all said and done to have the truck for 2 hours. Just say the price it will be instead of baiting people.Kassady G.
When customer places order online be sure to give them the right key to right truck. If they call and let u know they will be 2 hours late that you are going to charge them for the whole day rental fee before you charge them and finally work the bugs out of the online service so check out/in can be completed without calling customer service. It would also be helpful to offer a call back if experiencing high call volume so customer isn't on hold. I was on hold for 38mins, 25mins, 17mins, and 18mins when I called. Overall it was a horrible experience plus moving on top of it.Cheryl H.

There was nothing in the communication sent out prior to rental date that it was mandatory to have a uhaul account. But it would not accept my verification number until I created the account.Mark B.

The Uhaul online (self-service) pick up and return service needs A LOT of improvement. It took an hour to pick up and 30 min to return. One of the problems I faced for pick up resulted from a lack of instructions on how to fix location services when my location wasn't being detected for the pick up. The fix isn't related to the "location services" or "privacy" on a phone. It relates to the internet settings. For an iPhone: go into "settings", "safari", "location'', "ask" or "allow". When returning the truck, the online return system didn't populate the sections that require uploaded pictures of the odometer, etc. It simply stated the steps that are required. I had to call the 800 number and have someone walk me through the process, where to not store the dolly, and keep back up pictures incase I needed to dispute anything. The phone call to pick up the truck took approx. 30 min to get through to the assistant whom could help and another 15-20 to upload multiple times the two forms of ids, the verification phone call, etc. The phone call to return the truck was answered quickly and the assistant was very professional and thorough.Alyssa S.
