Really everything went smoothly I called the same day received a U-Haul truck for the evening and thank you Linda for all your help.
NINA VShowed up for my reservation at 10am and there was no one to be found. There was a phone number on the wall that said to call for u haul and no one answered multiple calls to that number. There was another customer who got there before me also waiting and calling. 15 minutes later they called back and said they would be up in another 10-15 minutes (I was about ready to leave until they finally called back as there was no indication that this place was active) Personal vehicle parking is extremely far from where you pick up the truck - you have to walk there and also have a long walk back when dropping off (potentially in after it’s dark). They also charged a 25$ cleaning fee. I complained and they sent me a picture of the back of the truck - with all of the blankets folded and placed up on a ledge - and one of them had fallen off the ledge and came unfolded. I’m now in the process of disputing that ridiculous charge. Stay away. There’s another location which is only an extra 5-10 in mileage. Significantly worth it to not deal with this place.

Jason JI had to drop off the truck after dark. Drove by the place a couple times, didn’t see a sign until coming back from the other direction. Very small sign with no lights. Was a narrow, muddy dirt road. Another driver pulled up after me and had the same experience
PAUL DIf I ever need another rental, they will be it. Such a nice couple, on time and answered every question. Simply a pleasure to work with.
John RThe truck cab was dirty. My husband had to clean up cigarette butts, ashes, sunflowers seeds and a Gatorade bottle. When we got on the road during g the latest severe winter storm he discovered there wasn’t any windshield washer fluid, so we filled the reservoir only to find out the pump wasn’t working. This was a significant safety issue, which I called in to report. We had to pull over frequently to wash the windshield. This wasn’t a great experience, at all.
Christine WExtremely difficult to find, minimal signage. Was basically a batch of gravel. Issues with GPS per staff (by phone) did not allow for inspection to detect issues (which there were). Poor service, basically, was told it is what it is that you had to go to a different location than you selected. No staffing in person.

JEROME LI was guaranteed a upgrade to a 26’ truck but when I got to my p/u no truck had to go to second location & then had to go to third location to p/u trailer. I should get discounts for being U-Haul equipment driver . Original p/u should not be dealer couldn’t speak English & didn’t want to help me get my upgrade all they would say is you get 20ft er even though I showed them email of upgrade, she was no help at all I had to call service center myself. Thanks for making my U-Haul moving experience a terrible day
DONALD NI cannot communicate strongly enough how frustrating my experience was with this location. This was a drop-off at a U-Haul affiliate, and I dropped off after the business had closed in the evening. There was no clear signage or directions. I spent over an hour at the location trying to find where the vehicle was supposed to go. I had to call U-Haul support and found a spot to leave the truck after driving down a single path gravel road well past the store front, but no drop-off spot for the keys. In the morning I drove by and saw that there was a U-Haul truck parked in a driveway several lots down. Apparently this was the location even though it was not listed online, shared in the instructions, or with proper signage to communicate. After a long day of moving, it was infuriating to spend an hour in the middle of the night moving a 20ft truck through winding single lane roads. This affiliate has a whole lot of work to do to deserve doing business with U-Haul.

Frank SSuch a weird location…It was like parking at a flea market. The road back to the parking location was soft, ground up asphalt and I was afraid I was going to get stuck. Then…they charged me for more gas even though I returned it with the exact amount it had when I picked it up!!! I won’t be using this location again.

Michael CDropping off the truck was also done after hours, but everything was made very simplistic and were able to drop off take photos and return the keys in a timely manner.
Sarah DThere was nowhere to park the truck or drop the key off. Sign was posed to slide the key under a door, but the key could be easily retrieved if someone wanted to steal it. While I was there after hours a lady pulled up and asked for the truck key. She was very frantic and not cordial. When I asked her who she was or if she worked here she just kept repeating “give me the key”. Since she would not identify herself, I did not give her the key or leave the truck until she left the property. After I dropped the truck off Sunday afternoon, it was very difficult to get a receipt. But finally over 48 business hours later I received one. Uhual switched me to this location for drop off without notice and I find that very unprofessional as well.
Jordan BGreat experience picking up the rental at A Taste of Summer. They went over all of the details of the rental and even helped hook up. If/when I need another rental I will be booking again with A Taste of Summer.
