Put jack stands back on all the trailers! Even empty a single man cannot pick the front end of a trailer up by himself!!! Whoever came up with this change needs to have to work a a rental center and spend a week lifting the trailers off the tow ball!!!

Mark TLocation was very flexible with last minute rental. The odometer rolled over to the next mile before leaving the parking lot, which I was charged mileage. My total mileage was 4 miles and charged fuel fees for 2 gallons.

JASON ZThis entire rental was a nightmare and ruined my work buying trip and I look bad for my boss. You guys wasted so much of my time and delayed my trip 2 days!! 1. Your booking put my picked up 27 miles from the airport when i request the closet lcoation and they said it would be 1.2 miles. I wasted $80 on a cab ride to the uhaul and used gas to my first pick-up location far across st louis! Also scrwing up my timeline for the 2nd pickup load which had to be delaued until th next day ruining my schedule for this trip! 2. When I picked up my truck the back was opne and the dolly and blankets were missing from it. Then I had to call cuatomer support and different location to find another dolly and never found one, so I had to buy one and this delayed the rest of my pick-ups! 3. Something is broken in the gas tank sensor and it does nottake gas correctly. It takes 30 minutes to fill the tank because the pump clicks off as if the tank is full every 1-2 seconds. You just can not get gas in the thing even on the lowest setting so you have to sqeeze very lightly on the pump so it puts in 10 cents worgh of gas per second. Imagine dealing with this on a buying trip full of pick-ups from st louis for 2 days and then to kansas city for 3 days and then to Texas. I had to fill my tank 5 times and this took up to 30 mins each time killing my timeline for pickup locations and delayingmy trip costing me 2 more days in hotels and more meals. 4. the gas tank was not filled ot the point they said it was on the rental agreement. These crooks! They said it was the 1/2 way mark between 1/4 tank and 1/2 tank, but it was actually at the 1/4 tabnk mark maybe a little less. I sepnd hours on the phone with uhaul the 2nd day of my trip wasting my time and getting the run around and getting disconnected many of times.

Amber YWhen I called, Larry was extremely rude to me and seemed like he was annoyed he even had to talk to me. I wasn't even upset when I called, but I definitely was after the call. The entire process was way more of a pain that we thought it would be, especially after hours. The instructions are sometimes not clear, and make you go back and forth unnecessarily. My wife even filled out everything the night before, and somehow it was gone and I had to do it all over again there. And we are in our late 20's, so we have no problem with technology. We definitely will try a different option next time we move a couch than getting a U Haul, especially from A to Z.

CHARLES SGreat staff, no matter who is checking you in or out. Store always has packing materials, useful moving stuff, and vehicles in stock. U-Haul software always a little sluggish but not bad. Love having my own account for quick access. Very friendly and competent.

ERIC WOnly issue I had was I was not confident with leaving as the trailer right or passenger side turn signal or lights didn’t work. I was told that is would be ok as long as the top lights worked. I would say just pay attention or find a way to manage maintenance on these trailers. Experience was great, just not happy with the maint on the equipment…
DANIEL LThe reason for the low rating. I had rented a motorcycle trailer from this location at least four times for round trips out of Saint Louis. One time I pulled the trailer to Nashville TN to pick up a motorcycle I purchased and hauled it back to Kirkwood and I used the same type of UHAUL for my motorcycle to haul to Wisconsin and back. I called A to Z Auto Center to rent the motorcycle trailer, just like I had rented before and after I told the mechanic of A to Z Auto Center I was going to haul my bike to Wisconsin and back, he told me the motorcycle trailer was designed only to be used locally. He said it was not designed to use out-of-town and tires were too small. I argued with the mechanic and told him I had rented the motorcycle trailer before for out-of-town trips from prior business. He still refused. I then drove to A to Z Auto and the person who was the UHAUL rep refused to rent me the trailer for my round trip out of town. Because of the confusion, I walked out to the motorcycle trailer and told the UHAUL representative, and again told him of my prior experience renting the UHAUL motorcycle trailer and he still refused. By this time, I was very aggravated and told him I was and told him that I could have rented the motorcycle online from UHAUL. And I asked him why he would not rent the motorcycle trailer because UHAUL would. He stopped me and said his company was not UHAUL and had its own rules. After I calmed down, I reminded him of my prior rental experiences with the previous owners. After more talking, I eventually convinced him the trailer was designed for round trips out of town. I then was able to reserve the motorcycle trailer for my out-of-town trip. A to Z Center is a good location for me but I doubt I will rent from them in the future.

BARCLAY NI rented 3 uhauls in October 2024 from Kankakee, Illinois to Crestwood, mo the last 1 I returned I did not have my sheet to know my refuel amount ,well over $1000 dollars spent on rentals ,only to be charged $6,30 because they said I was 1 gallon short on the refill line ..really? Pretty bad business . That 1 gallon will make me think twice about renting from uhaul again .( Dana ,the manager in kankakee was awesome)
