No one was there at the time of drop off.
RAFAEL CHad a great experience with Taylorsville, NC office! Owner explained entire process, even walking outside the office to show where we would drop the key upon return. Truck was clean, ran like a top!

JOSEPH IIt was smooth and very easy. I called and because I needed a late pickup I was able to walk through all the paperwork using the app, we uploaded our DL and pics all around the vehicle, retrieved the key from the lock box and we were on our way. The return was at another location and that was also a very easy process.

PENNY MThe vehicle should be inspected by the attendant prior to my arrival. First, the pics located in the check in process did not match the damage that was on the vehicle. I suppled pics within the app. The low tire pressure sensor was on when we started the vehilce. Our PTI did not indicate low tire pressure so the sensor must be going out. More importantly, uhaul should be upfront about pricing. I rented a uhaul one way which cost over $200.00. I asked at the time of rental if mileage was included in the cost and was assured that I would not receive any costs above rental fee. Second, I was forced to keep a truck in my driveway for two days when I clearly only needed it for one. I think that this is a dirty practice by uhaul forcing renters to keep the vehicle in hopes that they will go over the alloted mileage ( which is not discussed at rental) and be able to charge above and beyond the initial rental cost. I was only given about a 15 mile cushion on my rental. This clearly is not enough for a renter to drive to the location for pick up and then drive to the final destination. Furthermore, uhaul text messages/email wanted me to turn in the truck at a location which is about another 20 miles from my home even though my contract clearly listed the turn in location that I had selected. I was charged for driving an additional 73 miles. There is no way that this is possible. I am starting to lean toward uhaul tampering with mileage tracking. Everything about this rental experience felt suspect to shady business practices. I was extremely disappointed with this rental experience.

WInston DThe customer service has been amazing with everyone we have spoken to on the phone. The Lenoir, Boone and Taylorsville staff have been great on the phone. Considering we called well in advance for a truck to be in Boone NC, we hoped it would be there. It worked out but inconvenient considering we had help around the state helping us and going out of the way through the mountains was a little frustrating. However, it all worked out. Your staff are fantastic and professional.

David GI dropped at the same location as I picked up.
David GI had scheduled a car hauling trailer, for Wednesday morning, on the 23rd, of March 2022. We were to have severe storms that day and went in a day earlier and asked to see if we could use it on Tuesday instead. She was very understanding and said that would fine. The computers were acting up that day and she was very apologetic, for taking so long when the reality was my son and I would have waited as long as needed, for allowing us to get trailer earlier. I would highly recommend to anyone.

DAVID RMy reserved truck was not at the reservation location. I had to drive well over and hour to get the truck which caused scheduling issues with extra help reservation. Non of this was the fault of the location I picked up at. Person was great.

JEREMY BThis has been one of the worse moving experiences in my life I will never we use Uhaul again. After purchasing all the boxes and moving supplies I regret sending a dime with this company. You all sent me way out in the middle of nowhere to pick up a truck I had to call about the mileage cause my mileage to get the truck was all I was allotted. Then had me paying for movers who don’t come to my area. Then I returned the truck and was harassed about not returning the truck!

Tried to switch trucks at a local store but they didn’t have a replacement. I am 62 yrs old and am feeling the pain from having to force the rear door open at each stop.

KAREN HI had a to do a self check-in Wich I was not familiar with. They said on their recording they would be open during certain hours, that was not true. The entrance to the facility was bad, deep holes very hard on equipment and my my vehicle.
Ralph SYou really need a way to help customers mount the trailers. Maybe a robotic jack that the staff can use to move the trailers ........ This isn't a problem with this location it's with every uhaul place.
Bryant MAlto I will never rent from U-Haul again after the experience I've had with my 1st time. My son rented a truck just 2 months ago a size bigger from Taylorsville A1 Mini Storage & moved to Shelby from the location we loaded & moved back to Taylorsville NC & the rental wasnt but like $125.00, less than what I paid for what I got, a small truck. Make it easier for customers to rent & after hour locations better to serve custmors.
