The U-Haul that I rent needs work on the suspension It could be better if there was a switch light for the back of the truck I have not got a response back for the extra miles that I got charged I did got pictures from when I did pick up and drop off and there not matching

I have rented your trucks several times before. Now, to turn on the engine, if you turn the key NOTHING HAPPENS. You must hold and turn the plastic sheath OUTSIDE of the ignition slot rather than turning the key. This is not intuitive. Explain it to customers at each location and add it to your roadside assistance checklist, please.

The people at the actual location were quite attentive and helpful. However, Uhaul itself was not. I signed up for a pickup prior to the location opening. Uhaul called to confirm on the Friday prior to pickup (the following Wednesday). Everything was in order and they sent me a confirmation email. I did hear anything further and then on the pickup day I went to the location and was told (through the app) no equipment was assigned to me. I called customer service and was transferred twice. Everyone there was confused and unable to help me. I was told I had to wait till the business opened (another two hours) to get a truck. I showed back up when they opened and they told me Uhaul never made the reservation for earlier than they were open, while Uhaul had communicated to me they did. They were very helpful and I am appreciative of them, I am disappointed and extremely frustrated with Uhaul.

I'd choose never deal with A1. The truck was nasty. It was like it had never been cleaned. The seats were gross. The cracks in the seat were filled with old food crumbs and goo. I cleaned it but since I had no passenger. I didn't clean the passenger seat that was also gross. The dash was cracked(how does the happen?)and covered in slime. You could barely see the gadges.the steering wheel was sticky and dirty. There was gooey food on the dash. I used a lot of wipes. The cracks of the door was filled with oats, sesame seeds and sticky blackness, etc. Love to post photos. Pick up location was as messy. The guy just pointed in the direction of the truck and said I think its the one in the middle. He said, "I think he put the blankets in the back". Then he disappeared and locked the door. No blankets and a locked door. I drove across town to Mod Storage and got some blankets there. Regional Uhaul corrected the contract. I'd prefer to never deal with A1, ever. There were scraps on the truck with no Xs. Trashand napkins, spoons and other people's stuff was flying out of l cracks and appearing and flying from unknown places for days. I'd post photos if I could.

There was nothing wrong with the location or the equipment. Sheldon was a great guy and got me rolling no problem. The probkem was the dispatch center in Casper. I will never ever use a uhaul again. Deceitful business practices and unwillingness to help us. 2 days before we were supposed to pickup the called and said they didn't have our 26 ft that we reserved a month prior, and offered a 15 ft truck. So basically half the truck. They said we could go drive to Cheyenne to get a 26 ft but we would have to pay for gas and miles to get it back to Laramie. We decided to go with the 15 ft as we didn't have the extra time to go get the bigger truck. They then proceeded to make us pay mileage on the smaller truck, even though they effectively doubled the amount to trips to storage we would need to make by giving us a shorter truck. Uhaul is garbage, they wait till it's so late that you have no other option and are forced to use their trucks. Will never ever use another. When we moved cross country we used a Penske and they will certainly have our business from now on.

Customer service was excellent but I'm not really a big fan of the self walk around. I still like the human contact and the extra eyes while inspecting the equipment. That being said, I'd used U-Haul again.

The location service on the app wasn't working. I checked in in the website on a browser. Took 30 mins. After Mobile check in, I didn't get the code for the lockbox. The guy at the counter told me the code.

I rented a 26' truck a few weeks ahead of time and then the day before I was to pick it up was told they didn't have one and I had to drive 40 miles from my location to pick one up with no compensation.

Over charged $207 for mileage I couldn't have possibly put on the truck in a 2 hr times span while I had the truck, actual mileage was 2.miles. I was spoken to in a disrespectful and demeaning manner by both the owner and his employee telling me to take my business elsewhere, they only liked to do business with people born and bred in Wyoming. There is an open dispute Ref # 4528620 into this rental, these people should be stripped of their Uhaul affiliation. My experience from the previous rental at my drop off location was equally horrific when I was again spoken too disrespecfully and felt threatened by the employee

This location was the best! What I did have a problem with is the common practice of uhaul to have more reservations confirmed for a single unit meaning you are more likely to NOT have a unit when you show up to pickup than to have a unit ready to pickup. I now have zero confidence if I were to reserve a trailer in the future, ZERO.

I have no complaints about the people I received my equipment from. However I put in my reservation in about a months advance. The first women who called me from Casper was not accommodating what so ever. I called the original person (Rose) I made the reservation with. Between her and Steve from Upton they were absolutely amazing and very helpful. I picked up my equipment Thursday May 25th as directed per Uhaul, I was supposed to have an extra free day because of the inconvenience. The original reservation was for Friday May 26 thru Sunday May 28th. In order to guarantee the truck they allowed me one extra day Thursday. We then had to pick up a 6x12 trailer in Gillette on Saturday. Between the 15ft truck and trailer I was supposed to be charged $173, that is what I was quoted for one 26ft truck that was unavailable. I have talked to a couple people in Casper WY to correct this issue. I was charged for the extra day of $115, they said they would refund that charge May 29th. Brittany was supposed to be refunding another $101 for the difference of the overpayment of equipment on May 27th. I am still waiting to hear back from her and still waiting to see the refunded amounts. The truck or trailer didn't come with any dollies or blankets but otherwise everything rode from Gillette to Laramie perfectly fine.

The check in process was frustrating. I already provided much of that information prior to picking up the truck on the online check-in I did the previous day. Also, some of the rented equipment was incorrect. I asked and paid for 2 dollies but only received 1.

I can't rate this site as I had no interaction with anyone at this location. This is the location I was told to drop the tailer off at. I followed the instructions but the U-Haul site was not allowing all pictures to be uploaded. That is not the fault of A1 Recovery & Towing in Laramie, Wy. This falls on U-Haul corporation. I am not pleased with not having anyone look over the equipment that I returned. Since I have to "Rate the Location Overall" in order to submit this survey, I indicated "average", but I really have no idea. If it was for the on-line drop off process for U-Haul corporate, I would rate that as "Poor".
