The proprietor of this business tried to charge me for insurance (and perhaps more) that I did not need when I arrived (I realized this when the online estimate of the total bill was nearly $100 less than the amount the proprietor attempted to charge me). This was corrected after I pointed it out to the proprietor. Also the proprietor connected the U-Haul trailer to our pickup truck. He set the electrical cable and chains so loose that they often dragged on the ground. We were concerned about the electrical cable and secured it on the trailer tongue so it didn't drag. I wasn't sure about the chains so we left them as they were. When we returned the trailer, the agent told us that the chains were indeed set too loose.

Made a reservation over the phone and the equipment was available, and the Rep, as promised, actually opened early so we could get on the road before a big storm. The trailer was clean and well maintained. The Reps were organized, efficient and very thorough in attaching the trailer to my vehicle. Very much appreciate the customer service and their attention to detail.

Truck dirty, melted chocolate in chubby hole on dash. Trailer had a low tire, had to keep putting air in it. Ordered 2 packs of furniture blankets, they had zero. Asked how to strap the car down on the trailer and he acted like it was a big inconvenience for him to do so.

Let customer know store closes for lunch. Had to drive from another town to get the truck we ordered from our town approx 45 mikes away. Ordered for 9am pick up couldn't pick up until after 11:30 then had to wait until 1pm to get truck. So travel plans had to be changed

The people at the location were great. The online experience was poor. Between the account dropping my reservation association and overall poor communication from the automated systems, the experience was stressful and undesirable. I used the website and app to manage my reservation and had to call the customer service hotline on the morning of my reservation because my reservation was not available. They told me I didn't have a reservation at first. Then they cross-searched my reservation number with my other information and found I did have a reservation but it was unavailable. They told me I was out of luck and would have to wait until later in the day to get my reservation. I wish I would have done my business in person. I regret using Uhaul's online service.

A brake light was not working on the trailer, and the employee working there wanted to blame my vehicle and cancel my reservation instead of investigating the problem. We are knowledgeable about trailer lights, and tried to help him fix the light because the wires were disconnected for the trailer light. The employee was rude to us during this. This location is small and run down, not inviting at all.

THe early check in that came in the email is useless, a lot of what I had already put in for early check in, had to be put in when we went to pick it up. seems like if you are going to have that the same info shouldn't have to be put in by the people we are picking it up from.
