JOHN MRosie was the only good part of this experience. Checkout was a breeze. Returning said truck was a disaster. Extra fees, complete disregard for assistance from office staff Jackie, they are "not a uhaul partner" as Jackie states which is ridiculous. How do you rent uhauls and aren't a partner? Get this together before this location loses it partnership.

MELISSA WRosie and the crew are very polite and keep the facility clean. There was evidence everywhere that upkeep has been done. I rented second floor climate controlled and was pleasantly surprised to find a service elevator that will hold 2 flat bed carts that they also have on sight. Would highly recommend.

Annette OIf the gate would have been up we would have had no parking for the truck. It was too large and the chainlink fence infront said no parking. The sign near the building said no parking to the left of the stairs. Where exactly am I supposed to return the oversized truck to? Anyway like I said their gate was broken and on the ground so we decided to pull into the parking lot near some campers and additional storage pods and left the truck there.
ROBERT TWhile I appreciate the convienence of the digital check-in / checkout process - it is a bit cumbersome and when the photo/ID verification failed, luckily someone in the office could assist…calling my wife/emergency contact to “verify” my identity is just weird and creepy after I provided a selfie and DL…collecting that much biometric information and then botching the experience is not great.
Grant FIt was closed, but everything worked out fine. We just dropped the key in the night box.

THOMAS GI found U-Haul’s check-in procedure, which requires use of their app and taking pictures of yourself and your license, to be confusing and burdensome. Not customer-friendly.

ROSALIND MOnce again I rented a 10’ truck but instead received a 15’ truck, so spent more on gas for a 600 mile trip. When U-Haul changed the truck size they took away one rental day and increased the rate. After several phone calls, got the number of days and the rate corrected, but still received a larger truck than needed. In the future, I would like to receive exactly what I order.
JANE GThe rates were a little higher than last time i rented in december???? And i believe on that occasion I actually had a bigger truck. I did get the insurance, yet I believe I got the insurance the last time. I drove the same distance each time. I did fill up the truck and swept it clean etc. So I don't quite understand the higher rate. The truck itself did great. But I believe it's AC compressor may be going out...there were times.,esp at idle where the AC didn't even turn on. Which isn't great in august,95 degree day with 50 per humidity. I enjoyed the location and it's helpful staff. But hated the uhaul process,downloading their app just to rent a truck. It was a real unnecessary hassle.

Tim MClearer instructions on where to Park truck after-hours. We parked near the fence and it was difficult to take the required drop-off photos.
Jessica BRental process was as easy as I have ever had. I was able to pick up the truck a few minutes early and the staff was courteous, helpful and friendly.

I’ve rented trucks for the past three years with my small business and this is definitely one of my best experiences! I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with U-Haul lately so thank you for doing a great job.

Evan PThe agent (Kim Jones) was exceptionally rude. I have a feeding tube and could not walk down the hill to retrieve the truck. She then commented that I probably shouldn’t be driving. I should not have to explain a medical condition in order to be treated with dignity and respect. When I told her this was unlike any experience I’d had with U-Haul she said “I don’t care, I don’t work for U-Haul!” If I were to offer advice it would be that even contractors be trained to treat your customers with dignity and respect as a minimum. Thank God for the maintenance gentleman who willingly went down the hill to retrieve the truck.
Teesha MI made my reservation on the App, even contacted them later to adjust the return time with no problems. Very easy process, everything was ready, clean and in new, great condition. Check out after hours was easy through the app. I did have issues getting the app to locate me at the address where I was returning it, most likely a cel service issue. Thank you UHaul and the staff at AA Northland Stor. I will definitely use again.

Jon CWe used the self checkout when the location was closed. It stated to drop the keys in the Dropbox yet there was no Dropbox to be found anywhere. There was even a sign on the door stating to leave the keys where the app stated and again, there was no specific information about where to find it, though we looked everywhere. I called uhaul customer service and though they were very kind and helpful, there was really nothing they could do so now we have to hold onto the key until they are open again on Monday.

KYLE BWhen I walked in to the office to check out the truck… the first thing the lady asked me at the desk was “Well what do you need from us?” … her attitude was totally inappropriate and she began asking my adolescent son several questions about why was he so quiet and where was he from as if she were looking for something… this whole encounter was very strange and I will be sure to avoid this location at all costs.

Barry CIt is not the fault of the shop owners, but the 15’ box truck I rented broke down TWICE and I never even made it up to my storage unit to retrieve the items I rented the truck for. Very disappointed I was charged $65 to waste my whole day and almost crash on the highway at 70mph when all the dashboard stopped working and the vehicle stopped accelerating. Mechanic “fixed” it, when I returned to move it again, I didn’t even make it 1 more exit on the highway before it began lurching and not responding to the accelerator.

Ron BUHAUL has the worst pick up system in place. To start with a person has to have a cell phone with a chrome browser; everything has already been verified and still you have to be taking pics etc. It is a pain to deal with UHAUL when it comes to pick up a truck
Carlos GOnline checkin wasn’t working but the on-site rep was great and took good care of me. Some requested equipment wasn’t available for my rental, but otherwise no issues.
