I had ordered equipment with my truck for a 6:30am pickup before store hours to avoid lines and hasten the process. My equipment was not in the truck, I was hung up on when calling customer service and then the rep who "helped" me put it one to go to the nearest U-Haul when they open to see if they had equipment I could use. Then I had to wait another 30min until they opened to get the equipment I initially ordered. When returning U-Haul, there was no clear indication of where the key box would be as it was a storage business and not a U-Haul building so it was not as apparent, the gas gauge dropped a whole bar from when I was a block down the road from the storage place to when I pulled into the lot (both roads not on an incline to mess with gauge), and one of the worst parts of the experience was not realizing until it was all done that the pick up and drop off location were definitely not the nearest locations from my destinations by far as stated when setting this all up online which asks for the addresses your moving from and to. This felt very deceptive, inconvenient and cost more in gas. The following morning I also received a call from a rep asking me for what the code was to YOUR lock. He was nice and polite but just not something your business should have to do considering it is your equipment. Overall it was not a convenient experience

Not so sure about the employees at this location. Each time we went in, they had to have help, or were confused as to why we wanted to 'reserve' a uhaul for a future date versus picking up one now. The employees were not confident in their work and made errors. We expected to pickup the uhaul at this location only to find out that we had to go somewhere else. Fortunately it was closer to our home but we are still confused as to why the trailer we reserved at this location was no longer available and we had to pick it up somewhere else. The gentleman at the new location told us the previous location was a training center. Now it all makes sense. Wish we had known that and would have gone to a facility that knew what they were doing.

I wasn't able to pick up my truck until 2 hours after I was supposed to be able to, causing my moving plans to be 10 times more hectic. I had ordered 2 regular dollies but I received 1 appliance dolly instead. Plus an extra fee for turning it in at the "wrong location" even though when I picked the drop off location a disclaimer said it was a preferred drop off and I could turn it in wherever I like. Unless I have ZERO other choice, I will not be using U-Haul again and I'll be telling my friends and family to avoid you guys as well. I would've never considered using U-Haul if I had known I'd be severely off schedule, get the wrong equipment, and be thrown hidden fees at the end. Extremely unprofessional company altogether. And I expect to receive my $50 compensation for the truck not being ready on time without requesting for it, but I'm sure I'll have to considering how everything else went.

To be honest, I was at this location by mistake. I thought I was renting from the larger U-haul up the street. I’m really glad it went that way because this location was way better. The mobile pickup early in the morning was too easy. During the mobile drop off I had some issues with taking the required photos. The two reps inside assured me the rental had been retuned and there was nothing else for me to do. This will be my go to U-haul spot going forward.

i picked up my truck and went home and then found out there is a big sofa inside left out and again i can't go back! i needed to dump it! and i needed to pay extra for the miles for that! they didn't check the truck properly

The computer system is horrendous. I hate having to use apps for a once in a great while event. There was an issue with the truck issued not being available and when the agent would try to swap truck numbers, all info had to be reloaded. This had to be done 4 different times before my truck rental was complete in excess of the info being loaded when reserved. The agent was fabulous with the customer service, but the computer system sucked. I then missed a text asking for a picture of the license plate. I had assumed after re-entering information 4 times, there should be no additional steps. This was a local move and I literally spent 45 minutes to get the keys and drive off. My move was loaded, unloaded and truck returned in a little over 2 hours. Seems like an issue.

The truck would not start up once I took it home. I had to find someone to jump it for me. When I got to my destination the oil light came on and another light to “stop engine”… had to return it a day late to have someone to check the truck. It was a 4hr drive. They should make sure the trucks are well maintained for long drives like that. I have three kids and It woulda been a huge inconvenience if the truck broke down on me.
