Brad called me back promptly. He thought outside the box and found us a trailer close to the location where we were gonna pick up our item. Then he was there when we dropped off the trailer to receive it. I would his service is perfect. I would call him again for my future rental needs.

Ken VThis location was fine. I have two issues with U-Haul's way of doing business. I was in a holding pattern while a previous renter finished with the trailer I wanted to rent. It was due back at 2:30 PM. It would have been great if I were notified when it came in so I could pick it up. U-Haul does not have a way to do that. Disappointing for a large corporation that controlls the truck/trailer market. We renters don't have alternatives. So, I called at 2:30 to make sure the trailer had been returned and was available. I told them I was on the way. I arrived at 3:05 PM. My "appointment" was for 2:45. At 3:00 U-Haul sends me a text saying that since i'm 'late' by more than 15 minutes they may cancel the reservation. This despite my telling the rental location I am on the way! Second, although I was informed on which reture locations were open on which days (the closest was closed on Sunday). I was not told that the second-closest location closed at 2:30 PM. It was 80 miles away, and I got there at 2:40 PM, only to find it devoid of human presence. Then I see on the contract, in a tiny typeface, that I may be subject to a $20 "convenience fee" for dropping it off whitout being checked in. Sheesh. Gimme a break! How about some real communication, folks. It's a great invention you can participate in at no cost. Thankfully I was able to check in by phone. That is, after I drove away and down the highway. They had no cell phone service or internet.

JEFFREY LThe staff at this location was excellent. He was helpful and the process of picking up the trailer was quick and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and very detailed. The poor rating is not for the Midd location but for the change in location. I was extremely disappointed with the corporate policy and the change of pick-up location. I made a reservation at the Williston, VT location for pick-up of a trailer. An hour before my son’s college graduation we got a call that said we need to pick up in Middlebury, VT which was an hour away. So that is a two-hour trip just to pick up the trailer on top of a 4-hour trip home. We were not offered any options and basically " sorry but tough luck". There was a day and a half for U Haul to get the trailer from another location to Williston, but U Haul offered nothing, no credit, no money for gas to the alternative location. I think the corporate policy is very deceptive. The Williston location knows at least 2 years in advance when the UVM dates of graduation are, and that UVM Jr/ Sr all live off campus. It’s a very busy week, but there should be more oversite on how the process works. U-Haul should have a better plan in place to handle this spike in volume knowing this is an annual event. This has left me with a lack of confidence in your company and knowing that we can't rely on a reservation with U-Haul.

JAMES WWe rented on a day that the location was closed. Manipulating the app was excruciating. Even with the help of a very patient agent on the phone, it took 45 minutes to work out the kinks. The truck was barely okay. The steering had a lot of play in it. Luckily, we didn't have a great distance to cover and we got our delivery done. The location of the rental is convenient because it is the closest to us, but next time, we'll be sure to go only on a day that it's open.

David Bdrop off location is a 24/7 self serve during hours when no personnel are present. Since the location was closed, no staff were present. Therefore the correct answer is “Not Applicable”. I’m sure people would have been helpful were they present.
William FDrop off took more time than I expected--taking photos in/out/around the truck, etc., but I did drop it off after hours. I also didn't have my reading glasses on me, so entering the website, reading the text verification, was tricky. Maybe a QR code at the location to speed things along would help. But overall, very pleased. Thanks.
Peter BThis was probably the best rental experience I have had. The representative was very personable and knowledgeable. This helped tremendously when getting everything we needed for our move. Even recommending items to make the transition easier. I guess the only thing that didn't work out for us was the lock set we purchased. The disc style locks are not wide enough to lock the latches on the roll-up doors of the trucks. This was very minor and somewhat insignificant, but it was the only the only hiccup during the move. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

Greg SAlso ways make sure your truck is working properly when you start driving. The gentleman at the u Hal place was very nice and helpful. I have done business with him be for and good and far man. The peole that had the truck be for me was not properly informed the gentleman at the store about its problems. So when I got the first truck I went down the rood and had to turn back. it did not feel right. when I got back i told the gentleman about how the truck was feeling and what it was doing. So he was so nice and got me a different truck . Also he was going to give the truck a ride to see what was going on with it. I thank him so much for doing this. the next truck drove really well. I was so glad. like is said this place is a really good one. I will always go back there .
