It took 45 minutes to get my rental truck that should have taken 5 minutes. The truck was outside the gate, but the U-Haul app refused to agree that I was at the location since it knew I was outside the locked fence. I walked around the fence perimeter, but the app said I was not at the location and showed I needed to be closer (inside the fence). I tried calling for assistance since nobody was available onsite and after 15 minutes of no answer I gave up with frustration.

The folks at the central number 1) moved us to another location the last day by text; 2) charged us $45 for insurance that was never mentioned; 3) and has been non-responsive to my attempts to get this corrected. I was expressly told my credit card would be charged $129.30. Expecting everyone to operate totally electronically with emails and texts is unrealistic for one-time users and old folks. Truck was clean, but they may not be aware of a squeak that sounded the entire trip.

Victoria FI initially rented a truck for a day @ $29.95 rate but due to circumstances outside my control, I returned the truck 3hrs after picking it up. Upon reaching there, I was told to drop the key off in the red box, and they did NOT checkin the truck until the next morning. Charging me an actual rate of $51.19 instead of $29. There was no reason for that. I only drove 3miles a total mileage change cost of $6.23. So disappointing. Ironically, I had a feeling this would happen, so I called them after dropping off the key but it kept going to voicemail. Oh well...

Michael PThis location charged me $200 for missing/damaged fee without any explanation. I called and left a voicemail inquiring what this charge was for. The truck was dropped off exactly where instructed, with the exact amount of gas filled to the amount indicated on my paperwork. I returned the truck empty because the Sulphur location required the two dolly's be returned to their location prior to getting on the road to Houston.
MALLORY MFacility was closed, drop off only no contact with staff. Return app is terrible, wouldn’t upload pictures. After keys were placed in return box it finally uploaded the first photo. By this point we had already left so we could not complete the online return. We had taken photos just in case but the app will not allow for you to upload photos from your phone only photos taken from the app. Review needs to allow for not applicable responses. Had to say no to last two questions due to no interaction with staff or facility due to lack of options

Joel HEasy drop-off! The location was closed over the weekend when I returned my truck, but instructions online were simple and the process was quick. My phone died in the middle of my return, and when I contacted UHaul for assistance they confirmed the return had processed within minutes. Would recommend returning a truck here!

Edward TBusiness wasn’t open so it was an after hours drop off (8:45 Sunday morning). The U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 website and the U-Haul app would not allow me to do an online drop-off. So, I had to call TruckShare Customer Service.
Brian NMy experience was great! This is the only place in the area that opens earlier than 9 AM. The guy at the front desk was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rebecca KOn the booking page, it said this location opened at 8 AM. My reservation was for 8:30. I arrive on time and no one is there. I check myself in online. The truck is locked behind a gate with no key on site. No one is there. I call the location multiple times and no one picks up. Im on the phone with Uhaul representatives and they offer me a truck across the city. It’s 9:15 at this point, and we see someone moving around. I call the location again, and the person answers with an attitude saying they don’t open till 9, they don’t have my reservation, and tell me multiple times that I’m probably at the wrong location. I tell her multiple times to come out and look at my phone then. She realizes I had checked myself in already, so my reservation was on a different page. It’s 9:30 by the time I leave, and I’m now an hour behind. When I get in the truck, there are leftover Cheetos in the cup holders. Would not recommend.

Joseph CThey had a written phone number on a sign for me to call. They told me there is no option to get any sort of written receipt and that I would get an email from UHaul. As of now, UHaul still shows no record of my drop off. I would never trust this place again.

I needed a 20 foot truck but their business is so busy in the weekends, they only had a 20 foot. I took it and to my surprise, they had a 15 foot truck waiting for me, Saturday morning. Liliana WWhen we picked up our uhaul the vender was very helpful explaining how the truck drove best, very friendly and very easy drop off when we were done. We drove from Houston to Gypsum, CO in the summer without any trouble.
