These guys are amazing! They are in Poolesville which is great. I don't have to drive into Gaithersburg to get a truck and pay for the extra mileage just to get home. I have made multiple last minute reservations and the truck I needed was always available. You can check in/out in person in the store or using your phone via taking pictures. When I had a question and needed to call, my call was answered and the issue solved within minutes. If you are in Poolesville or surrounding areas, these guys are highly convenient and easy to rent from! 10/10 Definitely recommend.

Top Five Reasons We Love This UHaul Dealer : (and response to some of the negative reviews!) 1) We are a small town, and renting a truck from any other dealer is at least a 1 hour round trip, usually more! I had people come up to me while I was topping off the gas before returning it, who were also excited to have this dealer nearby! I recently reserved a truck with Enterprise & drove 45 min to pick it up, only to be told that although the reservation for Enterprise stated the deposit for Enterprise would be $300 debit or credit card, & was told that I didn't read the fine print & that was for rental CARS , NOT TRUCKS! Trucks require a credit card for deposit, but not a debit card. 2) GuRu, the owner is really nice & not at all pushy, like most other dealers! 3) The truck was clean and ready to go at scheduled pick-up time. 4) Poolesville UHaul is $100 cash deposit which will be applied to the bill, plus debit card allowed! Lowes & Home Depot Charge $300 deposit on your debit card, and don't give it back for 5 business days!! 5) Location, Location, Location! It is easy enough to get in & out of the parking lot. It is not on a hill as others stated. It is not a "house" as someone else stated. It is a little cell phone shop with A UHaul Dealer included. He is new to the neighborhood & well liked by the locals! In closing, it was much much LESS EXPENSIVE and much MORE CONVENIENT than any of the huge dealers around! USE THE AFFIRM APP TO PAY! If you need credit to pay for it, you can apply for credit through the AFFIRM APP! Just download the app, choose shop now, choose UHaul, then set up your reservation! You can even apply after you pick up the truck & AFFIRM will give you a virtual card good for 24 hours. I used a $100 cash deposit & put the balance on AFFIRM & had a quick & easy check-out with GuRu, the owner. THANK YOU GURU, WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

MILTON GThis location is not convenient, especially with 26 foot truck it is very difficult to backup from the hill side road to the main road. The location exit situated on the road where there are lot of vehicles running faster on the curvy road, which is difficult to see the traffic in a short sight. For all other small truck rentals i think the location is ok.

RONNIE BI ordered a dolly when I filled out my order online. When I arrived to pick up a truck, the person in charge told me he didn’t have any left. He was rude and seemed to be inconvenienced that I was there.

Carlos CThe cab of the truck was dirty. Additional the location owner would not give me 24 moving blankets even though I had included them on my order. He was very adamant I would never need 24 blankets and 12 would be enough. He continued to argue until I agreed to just get 12 blankets. The movers did run out of the 12 blankets and they had to use my sheets, which caused my sheets to be damaged with stains and holes. Also, multiple pieces of furniture were damaged because I did not have enough blankets. He also only supplied one furniture dolly even though I had ordered two, he said he only had one at that location. I found his behavior very rude and I would not recommend this location.

TYRONE JVery frustrated that uhaul has decided to let individuals lease their own uhaul businesses without any protocols in place and for that reason we're looking at using other providers. Places like these where the owner has 37 different businesses, works out of his home, it's not professional at all. The uhaul was also broken and I had to drive it back and buy a new one because the solutions provided were inept and slow.

Whilermine KThe trucks are just parked boxing each other in. The path to get out of the lot is steep, curved. and narrow. The procedure/system to get the vehicle should be explained on the website. The charges should be explained, as well. The carts and blankets ordered online were not in the truck. The truck’s foot brake was not working. The headlights could not be turned on because the knob to turn it on was missing. Driving without headlights was a risk for both an accident and a ticket. I shouldn’t have been charged anything for the missing headlight switch alone.

During normal business hours doors were locked and they requested I send a copy of my drivers license and other personal/sensitive info via a text message to a random phone number posted on the door of the building. I would never never never choose this location ever again. And i didn’t choose it now I was redirected because the place I did select didn’t have the vehicle I choose. Literally the worse experience I’ve had.

ONIEL DParking lot is over crowded. Getting to lot is up a hill that is winding - difficult for a large truck.
Linda BLocation seems to be a person's personal home address. There was U-haul trucks there but once you went into the office door, it was a mess. Lots of shoes and items for sale, cell phones for sale and doors opened to what looked like his personal living space. Employee or owner of this location was not aware that I already rented the truck online prior and had a set pick up time. Glad I brought my husband with me because it was a very odd and slightly uncomfortable transaction.

MAVIS AIt’s was horribly DIRTY and it was the only one left. I reserved online and had to come back 3 times because he sent me down to another location saying he didn’t have a truck. But it allowed me to reserve it and it was 40! When I got there it turned to 120 dollars! Had it for one day and got a receipt for 582$! For 300 miles!!! I could have had a rental for cheaper !!! Mind you that’s no movers nothing ! And it was 1.19 per mile and when I seen the receipt it changed to 1.49 per mile! This man should not be working for uhaul ! He’s a scammer I will not be EVER USING UHUAL OR RECOMMENDING!
