The location and customer service was good but the 15’ truck I reserved only had 143” of useable space with a big box protecting the fuel tank on one side and anothe contraption on the other side of the floor for securing a dolly, very short sighted for a moving truck. The guys at the desk were nice though. I’ll stick with renting Penske trucks.

ROBERT CThis location wasn’t the problem. My reservation was set up for Midguard Storage. I spent 20 minutes taking pictures and proving I was me. When I finally got the code, I opened the lockbox to.find NO KEYS! Thanks for ruining my move!!!
Thomas PI recommend that the manager would drive the vehicle personally to listen for strange sounds that may be coming from underneath such as grinding noises for rubbing sounds. Also checking certain lights that keep coming on the dashboard advising some kind of maintenance. It should be checked after every use. Coming from a former employee of rental equipment, rental vehicle vehicles that was my job. Make sure all things are working properly before it’s turned out.
VICTOR RPicked truck up with less than 1/4 of a tank. Wrong pickup location, confusing drop off location. Had to make severa phone calls to straighten that out. Got charged 150 more than the quote. Not pleased with the service but last phone call will hopefully straighten it out. Still overcharged as of today. Probably will not use U-Haul again in the future.
DENISE PIt is convenient to have the self service but it wasn’t the easiest to do. We also ordered an appliance dolly and it wasn’t in the truck so I had to go back out later that day when they opened to get one.

DARREN RVery frustrating picking up truck had problems with phone reading that I was at the location. And the option to scan code behind 24 hour sign doesn't apply because there is no code there
Candy HIt was in a grass field and only open 3 hours per day and 4 days per week. Weird, but rural so it’s fine.

MICHELLE LNo charge for mileage would be great considering Home Depot doesn’t. It would definitely bring more business. Ended up having to pay nearly $200 just for 4 hours because of the miles which is a bit ridiculous.

Michael BDon’t sneak in a 15 dollar charge for insurance coverage after I said NO COVERAGE! Worst U-Haul location I have dealt with. Truck wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be. He had to clean it which consisted of spraying Lysol. That didn’t cover the disgusting smell in it. Then you steal 15 dollars from me. It’s not even about the money, just the principle. I say no and you sneak it in. DIRTY.

Isabella STrailer tie down strap was broken. Had to use my own straps to tie down vehicle. Tires on trailer were marginal and one blew out on the trip.

Harry BThe reason I wouldn’t rate it higher is because it solely uses the 24/7 system, of which I had numerous issues with. It was very confusing and I prefer to use locations where there is someone there to assist when things don’t go as planned. The 24/7 system was a nightmare if you are renting in a different state than where your drivers license was issued. I wasn’t told I would have to provide additional forms of ID electronically, and had to rely on them calling people to verify me, all while I had movers waiting for me. Then the lock information wasn’t clear, and the lock to the truck wouldn’t open. Nightmare.

LAURIE LThe owner wasn't notified that I'd be picking up a trailer. He infact didn't have the trailer size I needed. He was very gracious and set me up with a smaller one. I don't blame him. Later I received a call from a different nearby store saying that they had the trailer I requested. It was however not the right store and not the right time. You rep in Midland NC isn't at fault but Uhaul owes me big. You screwed everything up and I had take another vehicle to get the things I needed transported. I guess I'll go elsewhere the next time.

Harrison GDispatch set me up to have 2 dollies, this location is closed Mondays till 3pm. Luckily the owner was there, helped with getting the dollies and getting the truck. This location is great but your central Dispatch needs work.

Donald POn the confirmation email it only listed a return date, no return time. I was not told or notified of a return by time, therefore, assumed it was before the drop off location closed on the date it was due. However, with no warning, I was notified of my uhaul being late on the date it was due. Once dropped off, no one told me about a late fee. I was then charged money for a late drop off fee with no warning or chance to prove that I was not informed of a drop off time.

Attaway EThey are charging me multiple times for different amounts. Both attempts at payment have been over $300. When I called, they said they charged a $25 cleaning fee except I’m being charged over $300. I called customer service and they sent me my receipt that shows my payment was approved for the rental. I believe this location is trying to scam people out of money and the building wreaked of marijuana and marijuana is illegal in the state of NC. Horrible location.
