Again, the mobile app did not work. The location was closed and I had to call cust. service @ U-haul and wait 39 min for customer service. All was ok in the end, but again, frustrating that an app designed to make things easy did not make things easy at ALL. Stressful all around.Sandy S.

I had never picked up a vehicle from somewhere other than a UHAUL facility where there were Uhaul employees. The checkout procedure took me forever, as every step of the way I encountered issues. It took me like 45 minutes to drive off the lot.JENIFER I.
Pickup was a disaster. Had to enter my drivers license information repeatedly and rely on third party contacts to answer their phone when random number called. Moving blankets were charged but not provided so paid for nothing there. Overall, would not use Uhaul due to pickup process.Danielle G.

I have rented trucks for this location before, all went well. This time, I was given a truck that did not start! I lost my whole day because we had to jump start this truck. After 1 move we planned, I returned the truck within 2 hours. I really deserve a FULL CREDIT for this inconvenience.Kari M.

The truck's gas gauge was broken so I had to fill it up twice. This isn't an issue with the location, it's an UHaul issue. Otherwise, all was good.SHANNON J.
The key would not turn to start the truck. Tried stepping on the brake, pulling the handle on the steering column, wiggling the steering wheel, pulling the key slightly out, opening the doors, locking and unlocking the doors, turning off the A/C and various combinations of all of the above. When it finally turned, I had no idea what combination was responsible. Twice, I left the truck running, while loading and unloading, because, I did not have time to deal with fighting the starting operation.BIFF T.

Get the app working or the site working so I don't have to wait for the Uhaul person to give me the keys. Uhaul had not been sweep clean from the previous user. Had to sweep their mess to possibly avoid extra fees.DANNY K.
Not anything to recommend for this location. As an IT developer, I'm impressed and encouraged to see companies deploying applications that help their customers be efficient. The 24/7 concept is wonderful, though not without it's challenges. The directions were clear and interface well thought out. Here's where I stumbled (not the fault of the app), and I'm an IT guy: (1) Chrome browser I was using on my Android 8 LG never asked to allow location permission and it took an extra 20 mins to decide that maybe the GPS wasn't the issue, perhaps the browser. Changing to Firefox solved the issue (2) Trying to scan the barcode, to verify my location, didn't work mainly because the lighting was poor, and I couldn't get the flash to work when the 24/7 app used the camera to take a pictured (3) During the check-in process, I was asked to take a pictured of my driver's license, something I had already done a few days before when initially renting the truck. Interestingly, in my U-Haul account, there is not provision (that I could find) where I could add or update my driver's license pics Great job! Tho I never needed additional U-Haul assistance when renting from U-Haul, these mobile app capabilities are most helpful to those "less inclined" non-IT people.John M.
Tried to use 24/7 share pick up to pick truck up before location opened but couldn't even tho that's what I ordered, then had to come back an hour and a half later just to wait 20 mins for them to show up late, just to find out they didn't have my truck had to get another one.Sara M.

The internet connection was so weak we had problems with static. It took us 6-7 hours to get the key with several staff on the phone. The number of steps to get the truck were laborous for a novice sending information in and instructions were not clear. We had people waiting on us to pick up furniture and we were from out of state. The entire ordeal was a nightmare. I had a worker that also had to be compensated. This rental trip was the worst I ever experienced with u-haul in 50 years of using your services. I hope I never have to use the lock box services again.jerry N.

Too many personal reference checks. Government issued photo ID, excepted credit card payment, and one reference should suffice. There was also pet hair on both of the seats in the main cabin. I would suggest not just cleaning out the back of the truck but vacuuming the upholstery with a bit more frequency.Mark D.
I rented this same equipment for an identical move back in August. I don't understand why the pricing on these two trips was different. This move cost significantly more, and for an older and less efficient vehicle. This one also came with some damage that apparently compromised the water tightness of the cargo area, and since I needed the truck that day and they had no others I had no choice but to accept. Fortunately we didn't get any rain on the move. There is no signage on this location, and for pickup I actually went to another UHaul location a few miles south and on the same street, the one where I rented in August, thinking that was the place. When I finally found this location I learned the truck would not have the furniture dolly that I had requested in my reservation. Instead the truck came with a large package of furniture pads, which I didn't need and which took up a fair chunk of space in the truck. Lastly, the fact that the shop was not open on Saturday morning, when I returned the vehicle, meant that I had to spend a fair amount of my time checking the vehicle in so as to avoid a threatened $20 charge to have the check-in done by the location itself. I didn't appreciate that.Michael W.

The entire experience was awful - this is not AAA Lock and Key. This is UHAUL. I made my reservation ahead of time and chose this location as I could pick up my van before the store opened. When I went to pick up the van, the time was changed and said it was for hand delivery only so I had to wait 45 minutes until the store opened. During this time I called Uhaul, waited 15 minutes on hold and when I spoke to the woman on the phone she noted that UHAUL changed my reservation. We then got disconnected and she FAILED to call me back. Once the store opened, I had to fill out all the paperwork that I did online previously. I could have gone to home depot for the same price and likely less aggravation. Never will use UHAUL again.David P.

Please give advanced notice of secondary method of prove identity. We did not have a passport with us, and verifying via an alternate contact is difficult as they do not expect a phone call. This led to delays, a hassle to others and an overall inconvenience that could have been prevented with advance notice.Molly M.

However within 1 hour Darren worked out a way to release the van since my DL and cc info was already uploaded in the system.
