I have an expectation that when I am paying for a service, as well as making advanced reservations, then everything should go smoothly. Nope! This rental was a nightmare from beginning to end. Not one part was simple. I scheduled to pock up at 9:30 am. I ran a little behind, but not an issue since I scheduled to.pick up using the app. When we arrived we started our check out...only to not have the code to the lock on the back of the truck. Then, the app closed down and I lost all access to the check out procedure. When the employee of this location walked up, I shared what happened. She seemed annoyed, shared she had problems with the app, then told me the lock code. She disappeared, i assumed to the building. I got the key, only to find out whoever locked the key in the back, put the wrong key. By this time 30 minutes had passed. I went to find the employee only, at 10:20 , to find nobody there, but a sign stating back at 11:15. I had to contact Uhaul via app, place a return call from them. I wIted and after 10 minutes I called a number texted. I got a person on the phone. Long story cut short- he realized the business was closed and had someone reach out to other numbers to attempt contact. After becoming furious, waiting another 25-30 minutes finally the woman from. AAA Storage in Hokley, TX returned. We were way off schedule by an hour and a half. The lady got the correct key, but offered no compensation. I expressed tjis was unacceptable and felt my rental fee should be greatly reduced. She started, at that point to get really rude, saying "wait a minute. You have your truck." I spun and looked at her sharing after waiting almost 2 hours and being on the phone for 45 minutes between texts abd calls. Her offer was to: 1. Not change for dollies rental 2. Adjust milage 3. Then tell me to not rush in getting the truck back. Just have it by Sunday. She also threw another employee at that location under the bus by stating she messed up due to being dyslexic. I responded I actually am a dyslexia teacher and THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE. Later Saturday night, I wanted to add another driver. After 3 phone calls, 2 texts and 1 hour and 20 minutes later, that was done...ridiculous. Well....I got my receipt and of course I was billed for 2 days. This has been one disaster after another. I have emailed Uhaul about this. Wondering if I will get my refund? As a note, due to my truck not being available on time, Uhaul,nit AAA Storage did honor their commitment-- $50 dollars refunded uf it is not ready. Which should take a week to see on my credit card transactions. WORST SIRThomas V.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION The lady had very very bad attitude and highly recomend UHAUL TO AUDIT AND CLOSE THEM DOWN she refuse to get off her butt to hook up or unhook trailer. HER JOB SHE THE UHAUL AGENT EXPERT NOT ME and then when i refuse she threaten to charge me if I don't last time I checked the UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE J O B to do that part of there POLICY unfortunately this location don't follow yes she came out to take pics just to save her butt from lawsuit and someone to blame other then herself if something was to happenSaad K.

I had to wait for 30 minutes to be seen and even after completing online checkin I had to repeat the process at store. The staff who was there at that time did not know how to tie the chains as per u haul recommendation. She twisted the chain and used the hook to hang on to the hitch. Service was super poor - lady acted like we were bothering her when we got there - called service 4 times - first time I asked for a call back and I was supposed ti get a call back in an hour - - after waiting for over an hour and half I called k and would wait ti speak with representative -after waiting for over 40 minutes each time I would get disconnected- when I finally spoke to someone the representative was rude and did not want to help - I was told that there was nothing she could do that it was in my contract - that I should of read it! - Al thought I understand that comment - it is the lack of service that I am unset about from the get go it was the wrist experience and this is my third time in a row having service issues - I guess you guys don't care about service and your customersEduardo V.

My trailer was reserved for 9:30 am but had not been returned by the user. I had to drive 41 miles one way to another town to get a trailer. While this is not UHaul's fault, it seems as if there should be a way to know that the rented equipment is not going to be there. A chip or something. The trailer was 1000 miles away.Marshall H.

The UHaul location was fine, and the manager was helpful in letting me know to use the website/app. The Truck Share option is where things went wrong. Absolutely terrible experience with that. It took me about 10-15 minutes just to check in, and I wasn't even able to return the truck properly through the website or app due to development issues & bugs. Took me about 15 minutes trying to return it before I had had enough and just left the keys in the drop off box. That process needs improvement drastically in order to be effective, otherwise I'd gladly just wait in line.Travis G.

The lady on the desk is rude and talks bad about u haul .She told me just in case I return the truck when office is closed,I just have to park it well and leave the key inside the truck, and so I did. AFTER 2 days she called me for the truck and telling me that it is stolen.Then later she called me again to tell me it was recovered alteady.Bad joke but I like U haul in general.HILARIO M.
