VONNETTA WMy rental was not ready for pickup. I wasn’t given the rental guarantee credit either even after I called and the representative said they would credit $50 towards the rental. When it was finally time to check out, the employee at the location tried to charge me and include insurance on the rental. He insisted I needed insurance for the rental. I advised him that I didn’t request insurance and that it was optional. He then proceeded to question me and what felt like an interrogation about having my own insurance. He asked me four times if I had my own insurance and if I knew how much it would cost if something were to happen. I explained to him that I have never in any of my rentals been asked those questions about insurance. I always make my reservations online and you can clearly see the reservation on your end. There’s no reason to insist on adding insurance if I haven’t added it to my reservation. At the end of the day, I did not leave with my rental until 5pm because the truck had not been checked in and when I tried to pick up the truck and do it online, it stated that I needed to call. The reservation was for 4pm and I was told there was an issue with the pickup. Again, I did not receive my $50 credit rental.

But I was frustrated, because after I'd carefully chosen the drop off location closest to where we were taking our son to school, the person at U-haul pick up for some reason convinced my husband that a different drop off location would be closer. It was not! The original plan was about 5 minutes away, and what he switched us to was almost 30 minutes away. When I found that out, I had to call and change it back en route, which I was thankfully able to do. Just confused as to why the guy would advise without first double checking his facts.
GARFIELD GMy vehicle was not properly secured ramp at all. Your own rep at the Arizona location asked for my phone multiple times to take pictures on everything they did wrong. He told me he has no idea how I made it without hurting myself or someone else. I'm awaiting a call from your management.

Anabel GUnfortunately the seats do not recline and the horn went out in the middle of our trip. People mentioned that the “fuse went out” but that is ridiculous. Why would it?
francis cThey needed to check the tires due to a notice of low tire. They did and were very helpful.
Margaret FOverall the truck was clean and the service people were great and professional. The passenger side of the cab's floor and side panel were sticky like a spilled coke or something. No one sat there, but I did load stuff there and had to put a towel down. And, the truck ran great.

Linda MUhaul makes you do an online pick-up, but the location doesn't follow this, ao you have to enter location to get keys. They also don't follow the online drop off procedure, so it is confusing. Trucks are maintained, but it is inconvenient that there are two sides to the rental process, what Uhaul tells you to do, and what this location needs.
