hard to access for parking, otherwise great....

The location was great, and so was the help I recieved. The equipment however, needs some maintenace. The back roll up door is hard to close. The ramp was sticky when sliding back in and needs lubricated or cleaned or something. The key to start the truck was tricky and when the key was removed, the truck would still beep as if the keys were still in the ignition. Lastly the carpet by the gas pedal was loose and problematic.

Had to put $92 in gas before leaving town. Truck should be full upon pickup. App, to put it plainly, sucks. Are you using customers to test instead of a test team? Multiple crashes, could not submit truck pictures. Finally gave up, took own pictures of previous damage, managed to get thru to the end I think. Required a call to support where I eventually gave up waiting.

I put 31 miles on the odometer & I pumped 7 gallons of gas when I went to go return the truck. Completely ridiculous, 30 miles for 30 dollars of fuel is terrible

Par excellence! Thay were so helpful, it is beyond description! We were on a tight time crunch to move my father-in-law on just a moments notice ans it took longer than we though...ABC helped us with and extra day over the phone even though they had another custo.er renting that vehicle later the same afternoon...they make it ALL work out! Great folks!!!

It's been a while since I have rented from uhaul in general but I was shocked to find out i was going to have to pay per mile as well as fill the gas tank when I was done. Also i was charged $7 for the dolly that broke off but was never used so I am not very happy about that either. There was also a $20 after hours fee not sure what that was for...overall when all was said and done I went from $175 to $250 plus the gas. I will be looking at another source when I have to move mats again in 3 weeks.

The cab was dirty, but I'm guessing the location was provided with that kind of cleaning equipment. No windshield wiper fluid. Steering felt very 'loose'.

I've rented from the uhaul at ABC mini storage 3 separate times an all 3 times they over charged me. An this last time I rented a 29.99 truck for 2 an a half hours an it cost me a total of 233.00. Plus I had to put 36.00 in gas... I will never rent a uhaul again... oh an when I called to let them know that they messed up the billing they for whatever reason denied my refund. So I had to call bk 3 times to speak to a manager, and now it's been over 12 since I rented the truck an my account still has not been credit the 100 bucks they over charged me... so just a word to those renting from uhaul watch ur billing because the over charge all the time...

Rental experience was fine initially. Truck ran well and seemed well maintained. What ruined the experience was when I received my final bill and they had added the cost of 2 gallons of gas. Before I returned the truck, I filled the tank so the gauge showed more in the tank than what it started with. Yet, they charged me for more. Their practice of starting with a partial tank is set up for rip-offs and they take full advantage. I won't be renting from this place again. My advice to others is to take a photo of the gas gauge when you pick up the truck, and again when you drop it off, so you have some proof on your side. Looking at other reviews, I see this is a common practice at least at the ABC Storage location.

I am extremely disappointed. I worked directly with the manager, Nicholas. While reviewing the paperwork a few hours later, I noticed that the "return time" Nicolas had entered, was 6pm that same night. . I had picked up the truck around 2 that afternoon & expected to return it at the same time the following day, as I did my previous uhaul rentals. Not only was the uhaul store closed, I didn't have service on my phone at the time, therefore I had no way to contact Uhaul. In an effort to get the truck back by 6pm, I had to change my plans & order of events, which in turn, caused me to put excess miles on the truck. I was able to make it back by 630. To my dismay, there was no drop box for the key & no instructions listed on the paperwork informing me where to leave the key. The paperwork did indicate you could contact uhaul or goto the website but I had no service and I had told the manager that. Knowing that the safety of the truck was my responsibility & certain they had more than one key, I put the key under the seat , locked it up & sent a text to the manager as soon as I got home. (It was also around that time that I had received a text from uhaul stating the truck wasn't due back until the following day!) To my surprise, and without any response to my text (we had previously communicated via text as well) I was charged $250 for a "lock smith" and over $50 for miles! I have yet to receive a response. I was originally referred by the local Domestic Violence chapter, and on top of their high monthly prices for storage, I'm afraid this really felt like a scam. Additionally, they disclosed personal information on my account when they received a phone call regarding my bill, from someone other then myself. Being that this was a domestic violence referral, I would expect more on behalf of uhaul.

I rented a truck, drove it 20 miles total, put a gallon and a half of gasoline back in the truck and STILL got charged for two gallons of gasoline.. upcharging everything and pinching pennies wherever you can is a great way to lose customers. I will use Budget from now on and 100% will recommend ANYONE but U-haul going forward. $13 for allegedly an eighth of a tank.. RIDICULOS. Oh and the truck was filthy, the cab was disgusting and the overhead lamp didnt even function. Wish i could charge u-haul $57 for lack of dome light. Hope pissing off a customer was worth $13.

Was charged gas after I returned it with more gas than it came with. A $20 after hours fee on a closed day is ridiculous how am i responsible to pay for after hour fees for there chosen days off the truck drives like complete shit and smelled off. by far the worst U-Haul I’ve used

My experience was very good. I had underestimated how much time I would need for my monumental task, but it was a simple thing to extend my time with my beloved U-Haul truck. The entire process was so much simpler and less stressful than renting the old school way. (for the record, the first time I ever rented a U-Haul was in 1991, for a move from Upstate NY to Montana. At that time, my partner and I formed "The Brotherhood of the U-Haul, because everyone else in a U-Haul whom we saw on that epic road trip.. everyone waved at each other. Maybe the world is not as friendly as it was in the day, but I still say "Brotherhood of the U-Haul!" whenever I see one, whether I'm in one myself or not.) I don't think there's anything you need to do to improve for the next customer. This streamlined, 24/7 availability internet assisted rental was flawless, and I appreciate you. Perhaps the only suggested improvement is to formally acknowledge the Brotherhood of the U-Haul. LOL)

The gentleman at abc was great to work with. I do wish the website indicated that trucks have blankets and a dolly available in them. I know its an add on but it almost needs used by necessity to have that cubic space available for items. Nice gimmick and we did use it. Just helps in planning to know

I really cant think of anything. I initially spoke with nick, and all my further interactions were with Krystal. Both of which were extremely professional & personable. I was referred to ABC by the local DV organization and without getting into my personal life, let me just say this whole process was difficult... up to and until my daughter & I walked in the door there. Im a true believer in good customer service never being over looked. Im unfortunately in no position to leave a fat tip, (which was no doubt deserved) so Im doing the next best thing by reporting their amazing service~ maybe they deserve raises?! Thank you! Candace M

Check oil and windshield washer fluid levels before renting out the vans. Also, vacuum and wipe all footprints on the console of the driver's seating area. A clean van is critical to have the best views all around.
