He took the time to understand,listen and take action to get us out the door and made sure that everything was squared away. We are grateful for the easy drop off.

Send you from one side of the province the other side of the province to pick up your pieces of equipment the number two together so you end up wasting a whole day trying to pick up the pieces of equipment.

Paul HAlthough no fault of the dealer where the truck was picked up, I was forced to rent a 10ft truck instead of the 15ft.
Roxanne Ceasier since there was a 24/7 drop off box but my app reset halfway through trying to take a photo of the front seat and then my truck vanished from the rental section of my app. then again I’m on the phone trying to get through to customer service to return the truck
Mackenzie SI rented this unit for three days, took it back after 18 hours. Unit was very unstable at low speed and as a trained safety supervisor dealing with vehicle accident investigations I did not this vehicle was a hazard. Not only did i pay for three days and bring it back two days early they had the nerve to charge me for mileage overage.

Brenda COverall pleased with service. Two points for consideration: The cab interior could be wiped down between customers. The cab walls, doors and floor were okay. I wiped all the above down in 5 minutes. It would be interesting to see if the very next user comments. First time user of UHaul….. would have been nice to know that the additional $16 “ safe move” costing was actually $16 each day as opposed to a flat rate $16 for the complete duration of the rental.
Shawn rTruck was difficult to steer amenable be checked out. Cab had not been cleaned out.
GAIL ABooked a 26' truck seven days in advance and received a confirmation email indicating it would be available. When I arrived at the pickup time, I was informed by location employees that there was no truck in that size available, that they had not had one of that size for a while, and they would not be able to arrange for one for another week. I was also informed they had seen and reviewed the booking details, and were aware I would be coming in, but never contacted me. While on the phone with a U-Haul representative, she also told me that the location should have contacted me well in advance that there was no truck of that size, in order to make other arrangements. I was able to get a truck at this location, but only at half the size as the one booked, which seriously altered and negatively affected the moving process.

Amanda KThe staff are pretty busy, so it took some time before they could help. I totally understand that, so It was all good. The truck I rented was dirty when I got it, but they gave me a discount which really helped me out. When I dropped off my trailer, they were super helpful despite how busy they were and made time to help me with parking in the small space, and were accomodating with the juggling I needed to do to get my move done.

Garry WI can't think of a single thing that could have been better. The person doing the contract was cheerful, helpful, very courteous and professional, efficient, thorough with respect to the information on the truck and terms, and ensured I had assistance loading the extras onto the truck.

BRENDAN BThis was an awful experience. The truck was not available but the movers showed up. I spent more for UHaul arranged movers....UHaul refusing to refund and sending me all over the place. UHaul should cover for costs directly arising as a direst result of a failure on their part!!
Jenipher CKey drop box was very hard to find, in the end I’m not sure key went in the right spot, there was a mail slot in the garage door that had “ ey rop” in stick on letters above it. The location is also a mechanical garage.
Kevin RMirrors would not stay adjusted (too loose, spun in the wind), transmission seemed like it was slipping, heavy exhaust tick, possibly lifter tick, brake rotors were wrapped on the front (pulsed when applying brakes), cab was dirty and smelled either like cigarettes or marijuana. Radio speakers were blown all around leaving it unusable. Service was okay, and I understand that the Vans come from all over, so most likely not this locations fault.

tim cThis was a very poorly managed and overly expensive experience. I reserved a 10 ft truck FIVE weeks in advance, which was cancelled on us the day before the move. We were offered a 26 ft truck 300 km from our starting point (600 km required to start the move). The gas cost for a 26 ft truck vs a 10 ft truck was hundreds in the difference. The driving required to access the truck cost us hundreds. Navigating a 26 ft truck through downtown Halifax to a small dropoff site (not our choice) was a nightmare. A terrible UHaul experience.
Stephanie MA safety checklist should of been done before using and provided to customer. I shouldn’t have been given this truck. Steering was unsafe along with brakes, a disaster waiting to happen. I couldn’t steer truck when backing up. Brake light warning and buzzer came on several times. The mileage and conditions of truck was poor. Seems like the telephone customer service system is fair but like to pass the buck. I want something done, a refund of some sort! I could of been injured or died during this ordeal. Not acceptable. The Abercrombie location never had a dolly we requested.
