I hated it, they charge to much, just to go 15 hours. It was supposed to be 1000. When we got into vehicles the gas wasn't all way full. I'm not wasting my damn money if it wasn't full, which it wasn't. We had put gas in truck. We stay in the green mostly the whole way to Virginia. We looked the truck patiently even though it feels like engine about to go out. Oil needed to be changed. I know about truck because my family and my husband are mechanic. Y'all truck put us in danger we gotta pay y'all 2000. I'll be damn. Yall are scam artists , we got proof. The truck was pulling back, need alignment. Do y'all check the uhaul. Apparently not. I'm not playing with y'all. Luckily we got to Virginia safe, I will never use uhaul, again. Penske would have me better deal. From Louisiana to Virginia is 1000. I'm paying y'all what it cost. Or I can get my lawyer. Imm' serious. I'm not in mood for the crap. I got pictures and I will give to my lawyer

The check-in and check-out phone process was hell. It took me an hour and a half to check-in.

I drove 40 minutes to get to the pickup location that was supposed to open at 0900 because of the equipment I needed. The location was closed when I arrived. I spend over 45 mins on the phone with various Representatives trying to locate someone to open the store or a different equipment in the area.. The employee arrived 32 minutes after the Rep said she was 10-15 minutes away. The employee didn't apologize or offered any type of Compensation for the inconvenience which she caused. I didn't take Possession of the equivalent until after 11 o’clock, then I drive another 40 minutes to get back to the location to load everything up. She added two hours to my day without caring or Show concerns for the inconvenience.

Price to go from Slidell to Mandeville one time with mileage tax for 3 hrs rental was 82.00 for a 19.95 rental. Early 2000s year we paid 24 dollars whole day with fill up gas cost 20.00 required to return, what a system taking price up that much that short.

When I picked up the truck I, I asked if my credit card was charged already or if I could pay in cash, the attendant there told me that my credit card only had a hold on it and would be charged when I turn the truck in at new location and I could have them charge a different card or use cash. When I dropped the truck off, I was told that my credit card was in fact charged and not just a hold put on. The drop of location even called their regional office to see if it could be changed and regional said unfortunately once it is charged, they can not switch it. I have the 1 star due to this reason.

All though the overall experience was good, I did find the price for a 2 wheel car dolly pretty high. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Using U-Haul for our move was an up-and-down experience. The several U-Haul employees that we first spoke with by phone and in person were frustratingly not at all helpful or knowledgeable to answer basic questions. Thankfully, I finally happened to get Christina from U-Haul on the phone, and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We relied on U-Haul’s online truck description (1 Bedroom Home to 2 Bedroom Apt) to reserve a 15-foot truck, only to find out when we picked it up that it was too small to hold everything for our move of a 1 bedroom apartment with minimal furniture & no appliances. Thankfully, when I called Christina at U-Haul she was able to find a larger truck for us at the last minute, although at a different location than where we had picked up & had to return the 15-foot truck. However, as a result, we had to pay our Moving Help movers for 2 hours of extra time due to the time it took to find & switch the trucks. Stephanie at Acadiana Stor N Lock, where we picked up the 26-foot truck, was very helpful in getting us on our way as quickly as possible. Our belongings didn’t fill even half of the 26-foot truck, but there were no 20-foot trucks available. Also, the Queen Mattress Bag Set with Handles for Moving & Storage that we purchased from the U-Haul store was not long enough to fully encase our standard Queen mattress, meaning we could not seal the ends and therefore the handles were useless to help carry them if we didn’t want to dump out the mattress. Our mattress was smaller than the dimensions the bags purported to hold, but since the bags were not long enough to seal, our mattresses were not protected in them. As a result, these mattress bags were a waste of money. The problems that we had were with U-Haul, not with Acadiana Stor N Lock.

I think it a get over, you changed a 20-and up for 4 hours and if you bring it back before time their no credit back.if you get insurance that 24 hrs. A day.yall don't give any refund back on the that either. And now yall don't give the first 200.miles Anymore. But now yall changed 1-2 dollars a miles.that is getting over on people.

My problem is with your app and the verification process . this is nit the first time that i rent from uhaul and you have a picture of my driver's license front and back you also have my credit card info and i picture of me and I have to wait for more that 20 minuets for you to talk to a reference . This is embarrassing for me . and I will not be using U-Haul . And i know that doesn't make a deference to a big company

u-haul lack of rental for this 15 foot, had to go further to get one. The rental was older truck still runs ok but the ac was not blowing very cold air but made it destination.

Over charged me. I put gas back in the the truck. I put more than I used. Either he didn't know what he was doing or the system is messed up like he said. Still waiting on my money back

Pick-up location was waiting on only 5x8 trailer for a customer to return it (he was a day late) but the UHAUL rep did everything she could to contact the individual and after a short wait, he arrived with the trailer.

When I picked the Uhaul up, I got there at 9 or 9:15 maybe that morning. She asked me how long I will need it and I said maybe until like 3 , I asked her if I went over will there be a charge she told me no because technically you have it for the whole day. A guy name Nic started calling me and I explained to him what she said she also told me it just had got there that morning and she didn’t get a chance to clean it. She let Me know there was mud in it. She told me to bring back as is. I also put the gas at 3/4 and I took pics the guy say it’s between a half and 3/4 I took pics. Why would I not put gas in it for the company to charge me more. They overcharge me and I will dispute the charge with my bank

Maybe have some lights put in where the trailer parking is because it's kind of hard to see when backing up the trailer at night you have to back it up a little and get out and look and back up some more until you're back far enough

Daryl left 2 lovely, helpful young people while he stepped out. They have not been trained on returns so it was a long ng process to return a trailer. If trained, they will excel.

While we had to drive 30 miles to pick up the 26’ truck, this location was the best ever uHual location we have ever rented from. We have used U-Haul for five moves over the past few years and the two ladies running the Acadiana location in Slidell, La were the best. The facility was spotless and our rental items (Dolly & pads) were quickly loaded. Friendly and professional.

It took is 3 trailers to get one that functioned. Then the passengers side tire was bad. So we worried the whole time of getting a flat. Then when we dropped it off we couldnt even get the deposit back. We were told one price online and were charged almost 200 more

Truck was nice and clean but the AC work didn’t work after a full up. Have to drive for about 10 minutes then it’s started to work. Drive side window won’t close all the way up when your at highway speed. You would of gotten 5 stars if the AC was working correctly.
