Ensure the truck was clean and that the gas tank was really full when rented out.

Stephen VThe initial reservation was not available at he reservation time., The windshield was not cleaned and Ifeel that the interior of the truck hadn't been swept out. the sun visor rod was broken off, I also let the agent know that when the brakes were applied at 50-60 MPH the steering wheel developed a coarse vibration, this suggested that maybe the brake disc had uneven wear.

Campanella AWe had a reservation for a 26ft truck, and then were told the day we were to pick it up they didn't have it. We had people from out of town to help us move, so had to scramble to make other accommodations. Had to settle for smaller truck since we had no choice. Gave small discount, but didn't want to, and not enough to male up for the delay. On top of that, the serpentine belt broke while I was driving, due to lack of proper maintenance, which caused another 6 hour delay

John CThis location was helpful my first location was a disaster I will never use uhaul again I confirmed my truck with a reservation and via the phone call the day before I arrive and the truck wasn't there they gave me a different truck and the battery was dead had to go to the location above where it was sorted out my return location also locked in in my reservation with a confirmation number email and phone call couldn't be located at ether location although the place I picked is the main hub of murfreesboro and has been at the location on memorial Blvd for over 40 years so was forced to go to the location also my pre check info might as well not of been as everything I filled out was lost and had to be gave again the whole thing was frustrating to say the least your reservation and confirmation system needs work they should at least make shure the truck starts before the customer arrives for pick up and when you call someone and tell them the truck is there and ready for pick up on the phone they should probably check there lot that the truck is there in my case not only was the truck not there nut the one they put me in wouldn't start

MELVIN WWent in person to reserve a 26' which I did. Got a call the next day that I could not have that one and all they could provide was a 20'. Not much option at that point. 26' was not going to be big enough so 20' definitely did not allow to get all I wanted. The truck was clean but the exhaust was so loud it was irritating to drive.

Bruce HWhile I understand why U-Haul does not require previous users to fill the gasoline tank like rental care companies do, it seems you should. Gasoline is expensive and I 'donated' a quarter tank of gasoline to the next user because I had not idea how much gasoline I was/would use. It seems to make more sense to rent it full and return it full.
Gary GBoth side mirrors (top/bottom) of the truck cannot be angled to fit the individual driver. I adjusted mirrors for my driving position but vibrations of the truck knocked them back into their original “fixed” position, making driving hazardous in heavy traffic/heavy rain. Otherwise, G8 experience

Paul GI rented the Uhaul truck and two furniture dollies online, but when I arrived at the rental place, there were no furniture dollies in the truck. I had to cancel the rental because I needed the two dollies to move the furniture. It was a major inconvenience and disappointment. I was told that when you rent online it will allow you to rent any piece of equipment and purchase other items such as pads, appliance dollies, tape etc, but there is no guarantee it will be available when you arrive to pick up the truck and supplies. The girl at the location was very nice and helpful. It was not her fault. UHaul needs to update their rental site so it will indicate if the items you need to rent are available and will be reserved for your use.

Dorise AThere were no signs or drop off instructions. Checkout on the app was difficult due to weak data connection. Someone came outside as we were finishing, but we had no idea anyone was there, as there were no signs indicating an office. None of the problems I had were because of personnel at the locations. This was all on the Uhaul reservation system.

Melvin WMake sure that the hitches stays screwed up to the tow balls ! Even using a wrench it got loose and flipped up while unloading the last heavy thing out of it ! Nearly gave me a heart attack . Better hitches would work .

DANNA HEarly InAug. I reserved a 26 ft truck from Cypress Storage 2276 S. Range Rd. Denham Springs, LA 70726. The Friday before I received a call saying there was no truck for me. Being I had sold my house, I needed to move my furniture. So instead of paying about $500 to move, it cost me $1500. UPSET? You bet. **I needed a 26 truck To move my things out of my storage unit in Houma so again I reserved a U- haul for 11/14/2020 from 10:30 plus 8 hours. AGAIN my 3 movers Joined me at 133 Monach Dr. Houma, LA. Only to find NO TRUCKS. Walter said we would have to wait about 3 hours till the truck was returned. UPSET.? Yes! My daughter found another U-haul: ACADIANA STOR-n-LOCK, 372 Westside Blvd, Houma, LA. Thank God for that manager: Christina. She is a gem to your company.
