Early InAug. I reserved a 26 ft truck from Cypress Storage 2276 S. Range Rd. Denham Springs, LA 70726. The Friday before I received a call saying there was no truck for me. Being I had sold my house, I needed to move my furniture. So instead of paying about $500 to move, it cost me $1500. UPSET? You bet. **I needed a 26 truck To move my things out of my storage unit in Houma so again I reserved a U- haul for 11/14/2020 from 10:30 plus 8 hours. AGAIN my 3 movers Joined me at 133 Monach Dr. Houma, LA. Only to find NO TRUCKS. Walter said we would have to wait about 3 hours till the truck was returned. UPSET.? Yes! My daughter found another U-haul: ACADIANA STOR-n-LOCK, 372 Westside Blvd, Houma, LA. Thank God for that manager: Christina. She is a gem to your company.Rose P.

My original reservation was at the Monarch Dr location in Houma. When I arrived they didn't have my item. I was not informed they didn't have the trailer as I was told I would be if they couldn't get it. Once the manager arrived the conversation between her and the other employee was very unprofessional especially with me as a customer there. They did find a trailer at another location for me that I had to go get. My trip was delayed over an hour but I did get what I needed.eugene R.

My only concern is that I did not have the ability to keep track of how many miles I had purchased and what I had used. So when I went to return the truck it was trying to double charge me for some reason which I assume it is because I went of a mile or two. Which I would be willing to pay for the mileage used, but not an duplicate charge as the original one. It would be beneficial to be able to see what I paid for in mileage on the receipt.Darren T.

Truck had broken sun visors, I had to jump start it, the truck smoked very bad, it smelled like smoke. Needs to be serviced due to mechanical issues, but overall clean cargo area and external and cab area. Excellent facilities and helpful staff.Claude A.

Things started off rough - street was flooded so closed in front of facility when I was due to pick up truck but your agent called me the moment the street opened up - your agent was helpful with helping me get my supplies and everything together - my only problem was with the moving helper found thru the app - â€œMove Datâ€ - they completely destroyed $250 cabinet and upended furniture rolling down the stairs - when came time for payment I asked if the price it showed was correct .. $170 he said yes ... HE picked up my phone & authorized the payment - HE wrote a review â€œGreat Moveâ€ then handed my phone back to me - my bank shows I was charged 2 payments of $170 so $340 - I let the agent at this location know about the shoddy workmanship performed by these guys & have put a dispute in thru my bank - I will definitely use this agent for any future moving or storage needsElizabeth L R.

This was by far the worse experience I have ever had with UHaul. When I picked up the truck, the tire on the right passenger side was low. The woman there said, Oh, just air it up when you get gas.â€ It had to be aired up 3 times that nightâ€”and finding a place to do so was not an easy job. Also, when I picked up the vehicle, there was dirt and trash in the backâ€”the office manager did sweep it out after I showed her the mess. Then, when we tried to leave with the practically flat tire, we could not adjust the mirror on the right side In a position that allowed me to see on the right sideâ€”the mirror was brokenâ€”my daughter had to follow me everywhere I went so I would not hit someone on the right side. However, the brakes not working twiceâ€”-and me sliding/skidding through a red light when I tried to stop in a thankfully unloaded truck was the worse. We were forced to move at night, so I quickly found out I only had one headlampâ€”the one on the passenger side was not working. The grease on the driver's side window would not come off no matter how I tried, so I had to ride most of the day and night with the window downâ€” I am a good driver with zero ticketsâ€”I really would appreciate most of my money being returned ASAP. I have pictures of the one light, the license plate,'and the low tire pressure at three different mileages. This was ridiculously awful.marjorie A.
