This location was excellent and extremely helpful and kind. However, my overall experience was absolutely terrible, and I will never be using U-Haul or recommending U-Haul to anyone ever again. In fact I will be going out of my way to let people know about my experience. All started out with the EXTREMELY poor customer service at the Denton, TX location. We had a reservation for at 26 foot truck to find out that if you are late to get the truck l (even if it's for circumstances out of your control) they will give your truck away and claim they tried to call you. Nope never got a single call, and the very unfriendly gentleman behind the counter claim that I'm a liar and that he personally called and got a busy signal. Really a busy signal on a cell phone???? Not buying that BS. Then not even try to find you another truck. That's only the tip of the iceberg. Call the number on the website, they claim to have found a truck. GREAT, or so I thought. Get to that location to be told that they have no idea why they would send us there because they don't have anything available. So, call again and are told they found a truck at another location that's about 45 minutes away. At this point what choice do I have? Drive the 45 minutes, and guess what? No keys for the truck that they have. Which brings me to my final U-Haul location, which again was AMAZING. Unfortunately they didn't have the truck size I needed, so I had to take a smaller truck and make multiple trips on the two hottest days of the year to move my family. I would give negative stars if I knew it wouldn't go against the kind folks that finally helped me. Which by the way I had to drive another hour to get to. I will never be using U-Haul for any services again and will be rather vocal about my experiences this past weekend.BRIAN A.

Employees should be trained to check in trucks. I rented a truck for 2 days when truck was returned we were old that the truck was reported stolen and they said I drove it 1100 miles and they tried to charge my credit card 1200. You took a $100 deposit off my card, they told me they credited back $62.18. I only had the truck for a few hours. I brought it back cleaner than it was when I got it, the money still hasn't been credited back to my account. It has been 3 days and I called both Access and UHaul and they say it's the bank. I have spoke with my bank and nothing is pending and they took $100 and nothing shows they credited anything back to my account. It is NOT my bank, it is UHaul who hasn't done their part and they don't care. UHaul is lying to me, blaming my bank instead of correcting the error and/or admitting they messed up. I will Never use UHaul again, it didn't take 20 seconds for them deduct the $100, yesterday they said it could be 7 to 10 days, I was not told this at all until 2 days after the fact. Bad business UHaul!!!! You just lost a customer and you don't care!!!!KIMBERLY H.

I booked my car hauler rental through a agent with UHaul, not with the person where I picked up the equipment. I paid in full over the phone and was told to pick up the car hauler at a certain location... I told the agent I wanted to pick up at 8am... The next day, late night, a UHaul representative contacted me and said there was a mixup and the equipment wasn't available. When I get to the new location, the place didn't open until 9am, and the UHaul section didn't open until 9:30am. This put me behind schedule and inconvenienced me and others I was meeting (2hours away). My time is very important, and I feel I should be compensated for UHauls failure and poor business practices!!! I may not use UHaul in the future.CHRISTOPHER V.

I was never told i was going to be charged $20 twice if i brought the Uhaul back after closing. The representative never gave a paper copy nor did she explain. That a email would be sent. I never got a email until the bill was presented. I always use uhaul services. Never have i been charged such an excessive amount. I've been dealing with your company for year I feel like i should be given a credit back because lack of information i was never informed of such. Had she had told me if i didn't have that uhaul back before 5 i would be charged extra i would have brought it back before 5pm. I told her i wasn't sure how long i would need it for and she put 5pm.Monnique K.

This was not the pickup location booked. I was supposed to pickup early the next morning, while it was still dark, but had to reschedule my pickup for safety reasons. Requested that scheduling move my pickup to the location requested. She flat out said no, and pretty much told me to take it or leave it. Had my move been more than 30 hours later, I would have left it and gone to Budget.GEOFFREY G.

Good morning! I had purchased a U-Haul and when I got in it, it smell like cigarette smoke, ashes everywhere and just filthy even when I started driving it it sounded like it needs mechanical work this was very uncomfortable for me and my daughter, And won't be using that location again.Daiemon R.

Manager didn't attach the ball properly and it came detached from my jeep. The change stayed on and the torque twisted the heavy metal on the trailer hitch and ripped and damaged the electrical. I'm filing a claim. Which is a terrible inconvenience.Jeanne O.

The U-Haul call center reps are idiots, especially the one who made this reservation for us by phone. I think her name was Aretha, or something like that. Did not listen, made the reservation at a completely different location fro what was requested WITHOUT TELLING ME. Really threw a glitch in our plans and our weekend.keli J.

The rental location was changed to this location due to the original location didn't have a truck! Without any notice. Very unprofessional and unapologetic at the original location. The manager at the Buckner location was awesome!Gary M.
I would like to say I receive wonderful service from this gentleman, because the first U-Haul I went to in Mesquite off of 80 and Gus Thomas they were really rude and the owner was really racist so I really appreciate all of the great service I received on Buckner.Jamira F.
