Truck reeked of cigarette smoke and there was sticky substance in the cup holder. The windshield wipers needed servicing.
DAI'TORCHA JNote, first location we had chosen, Soundworx, in Summerville SC, was not open. Their information when reserving the trailer said they were open. This caused us some trouble finding another location that had the trailer. We suggest you look into the Soundworx business and get them to update their hours of operation, very frustrating. Thanks
GREGORY DI showed up 30 minutes before closing and one of the employees shift had already ended and he was walking out for the day, but he saw what I was doing and put his personal items down and helped me. I appreciate the dedication this employee demonstrated.

WILLIAM LTruck was all banged up the front bumper had zip ties on it and lights were broken. The truck had no power very lagging and the tire pressure monitoring system warning kept flashing.

Tim LThe location itself is on a 4 lane highway that was pretty busy and to pull a 26 ft truck out of it was difficult and on top of that we were charged for the insurance we didn’t want from them and the dolly we wanted was just loose in the back of the truck.

CAROL STell them to bring a step stool and a pillow in case they are to short I’m 4 feet 8 inches and had to look through the steering wheel to see where I was going!!! Those trucks aren’t made for small people and they should do something about that!!!!

WILLIAM HCalvin was very helpful and understanding as I was suppose to pick up truck at another site at 9 am, i was never notified of the change in the app or by email. I had talked to several people on Friday 4/11 but specifically Tasha the scheduler and everything was a go. I was never notified of the change in address which delayed me getting back to meet the movers that I was also paying and on a schedule.

Alejandro OGreat service. Make sure y'all ask all the hidden fees first. They charge your debit card a like over 50 bucks, as of the next day no refund put back in our bank debit card balance. ALL employees super nice. Would rent a 19.95 truck again now that we know specifics.
CAROL SWhen I arrived at the drop off location, I stood at the desk for about 10 minutes and no one was around, as if the store was closed. I called out to see if anybody anround and a gentleman came around the corner pissed off and demanded WHAT DO YOU WANT!! I told him I was dropping off a U-Haul. He says WELL GIVE ME THE KEYS! That was the extent of our conversation because he seemed like a very violent person so I just left. Then I find out today. I was charged for two extra days when I was only one day late. If I ever have to rent a truck again, it would definitely not be from this location. He seriously needs to be fired for the way he interacts with customers.

KENNETH WService was excellent. I reserved the trailer a few days in advance. When I went to pick it up they had everything ready. They got me hooked up and I was on my way in no time. Very pleased with the help I received.
BRUCE BThe entire uhau computer system was down when we went to get our reservation truck. We waited over an hour to get the truck when we had paid movers waiting on us. Extremely frustrating and costly.

LASONYA SThis was a horrible experience. We received our truck from the Ladson location. Day 2 of our trip - truck full to the brim for a cross country move from SC to IN - our truck brakes down on the side of a major highway in TN. Truck smoking and spilling oil everywhere. We immediately pulled over and waited for 3.5 hours for roadside assistance. Come to find out - the individual who serviced the truck in Ladson did not properly seal the oil cap back on and as a result - all the oil from the truck spilled out on the road and caused us major delays. Thankfully we were smart enough to immediately pull over before ruining the engine. We had our 4 year old daughter and dog with us in the car behind - all also on the highway in the pouring rain to boot. I would appreciate a reimbursement for this.

Max KThe truck was dirty inside and out. Mud was in the cab of the truck, drink was spilled in the seats, and the seats covered in filth, the cup holders to place drinks and phones in was disgusting, the door of the inside cab was dirty, there’s orange paint on the passenger inside door. The back of the truck was dirty, my boxes and items got dirt al over them. The ram is covered in dirt along with the outside of the truck. This has been the worst, most dirtiest truck I’ve ever rented from U-haul. I have pictures of everything. They also did not have the large furniture dolly I needed. Again, I have pictures as well notified my drop off location they’re aware how dirty the truck was. I was not wanting to be charged for returning a dirty truck when I picked it up that way. Due to my moving circumstances in an emergency from an abusive person I had to move asap. I’d like a refund if not an entire refund a partial refund due to dirtiness of the equipment. I’ll be happy to forward pictures or answer any questions.
WENDY MReid was excellent at providing us with the truck and dolly that we needed for our 350 mile trip. When he didn’t have the dolly on his lot he drove to another location to get one for us! They really care about their customers at this location and cater to their needs. Thank you Reid and Low Country Ace!!! Sharon & Mark Brayfield ❤️

JOHNNY MComplete garbage! charged me a $25 "Cleaning Fee" when there was no such fee in the paperwork I was given nor was it explained to me in any part of the rental process.
ADAM HTruck reservation got moved to an inconvenient location. I got no credit for the additional miles traveled to this location as you charged me by the mile. The traffic was terrible at the new location. Also got told 30 minutes before pickup.
