JAMES WI need a manager to call me, you guys not only charged me for 100 miles which I did not drive I was told when I picked up the haul that “there was going to be a MINIMUM charge/HOLD of 100 miles on my credit card” THIS CHARGE only supposed to be on hold not an actual “charge” WHEN I returned the U-HAUL They will make an adjustment/credit for the actual miles I drove which is 65 MILES!!!! I should be getting a refund not a 2nd charge!! Secondly, they charged me for 3 days I picked the U-HAUL ON Saturday around 1:00 pm, returned it NEXT DAY Sunday around 6:30 pm! Why they charged me for 3 days!!! I’m so livid furious you guys are a fraud!

MARILYN MAce Hardware Uhail has consistently been the best Uhaul experience we have had. We have rented from them 4 times now and each tome it has been a great experience. The team is friendly, accommodating and they make the process straightforward and easy.

MINERVA RIt took 20 minutes for them to acknowledge me. They just told me to stand by the boxes and wait. I ended up hooking and hooking my trailer myself. The staff was too busy to help me. Some were rude.

maureen mI went to uhaul on cave creek and Hatcher. Their customer service was exceptional. They did not have my product that I was seeking but took the initiative to make my reservation for me and provided me with great customer service. Then I arrived at the location of Ace Hardware to pick up my vehicle, TJ was extremely professional and fast assisting me. My experience between both locations should be acknowledged as exemplary. Should be used for proper training for customer service. I always experience great service with you guys. Thankyou.

DOUGLAS LClerk had difficulty with the U hall app trying to reserve and finalize the transaction. It took several attempts to finally be able to complete the rental agreement and reservation. Other than the Internet problems which they say happens more often than not, everything about the rental was excellent and would utilize the service if needed.

NORMAN HThis was a horrifying experience.. realized about 20 minutes after I rented the U-Haul that the return time was at 11 PM. I called the store spoke with an associate named Alex, who informed me that he would update my rental to reflect 24 hours. I also told him that the truck was really dirty, well come 3 PM the next day I get a call from Christopher saying he's with the ace hardware U-Haul demanding the location of the U-Haul so I tell him it's located here at this address and in a very rude tone tells me that U-Haul has been reported stolen it was due back at 11 PM within an hour came and towed the U-Haul I get a bill they're trying to charge me $50 cleaning fee. I only drove the vehicle 15 miles basically picked it and parked it. And then they try to tell me that there is damage on top of the vehicle when I told him that there could possibly be a ladder inside the vehicle still when they were coming to tow it, but yet he said that I had told him that it was on top of the vehicle and he said now there's damage, I'm beyond speechless with the experience that I've had with this U-Haul the associate Alex is not taking any accountability for the mistake that he made by not updating the system and put me in a very bad situation so I had to get an attorney that's going to dispute the bill for me because I'm not paying it after I was treated so horribly For a mistake the associate made and on top of that, they're trying to charge me a cleaning fee and damage to the truck. They should be ashamed of themselves. I'm filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau. I would not rent a U-Haul customer service terrible!

Gary NThere's what looks like blood in the cargo area kind of smeared smudged on the walls of the truck. The windshield was extremely streaky and greasy. The inside of the cab looked like somebody had spilled something sticky on the driver door inside the driver door holding spots and on the cup holder area in front of the radio.
JOSHUA RStaff at this Phoenix Ace were exceptional, they treated as the most important customer of the day. I was completely comfortable with the truck before I left. Austin, Matt and Yvette are the three Ace employees who were close by to offer help

I watched as he cancelled the application several times just to redo it and continue to ask the same questions that was already answered ! His name is Matt and I wouldn’t recommend him for check in . This has costed me time and dedicated costumers !

Jim SI was not given a paper receipt when picking up the truck. Not being from the area, when I went to return the truck I quickly scanned my email and opened the most recent U-Haul email thinking it was from this location. It apparently was an advertisement for other locations but I did not notice that and clicked on the address that appeared at the top of the email. I drove to that address which was the wrong one and 20 miles round trip out of my way that I was charged for. I suggest having the location in the truck so this mistake doesn’t happen to others. Advertising $19.99 a day and having my final bill just over $100 is a bit of a ruse IMO.
Misty LThe clerk at the store was rude. And I was not informed that the rental was $19.99 + $100 (milage). This is absolutey one of the worst experience's I ever had. I WILL NOT BE USING U-HAUL again!!!!. And I will be telling all my friends and business partners about this!!!. The owner of U-Haul lives here in Phoenix, AZ. And he lets these types things happen here!!!!!!! SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!

DEBORA CCAME IN THE STORE AS I RESERVED THE 20’ TRUCK INWAS CHECKED IN THE EMPLOYEE TOOK ALL MY INFORMATION ID AND EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH, I RENTED THE TRUCK FROM 5pm-10pm. PER THE EMPLOYEE SAID ITS OKAY TO KEEP THE U-HAUL UNTIL NEXT DAY DUE TO THE FACT THAT STORE CLOSES BEFORE 10pm SO KEEP THE TRUCK AND BRING IT BACK WHEN STORE OPENS, SO I DID. THEN, THE NEXT DAY COMES, AS I WAS TOLD I CAME IN WHEN STORE OPENED AND RETURNED THE TRUCK AS I WAS TOLD AND THE EMPLOYEE THAT TOOK CARE OF ME NEVER CHECKED THE TRUCK BACK IN. SO I GO HOME AND I GET HOME AND RECEIVED A CALL AND A TEXT MESSAGE THAT I WAS 17 hours LATE ON RETURNING THE TRUCK AND IT WAS GOING TO BE REPORTED STOLEN. THEY SCARED THE SOUL OUT OF MY BODY.. WHEN I HAD JUST GOTTEN BACK FROM RETURNING THE TRUCK. I SHOULDNT BE ACCUSED OF SOMETHING THAT I DIDNT DO. They should’ve checked before accusing me. Anyways I am not going back to that store. I DONT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
