I was rerouted to a new location to drop the truck off several miles away from the agreed upon location (the one listed on my contract) I was not advised of this change until I arrived at the original drop off location and tried to return the truck. I was charged for the additional miles between drop off sites as well. I asked for a callback and no one ever reached out to me. Poor business practice.

Brendan G.We had a good experience here this summer but on Weds. We were rented a van that's back doors didn't open!!!!! Eventually they did. It was very cold out and took us a half hour to try and get the back doors open to load and then again to unload. We asked for a discount and agent said he couldn't do one. Very inconvenient. Van should have been repaired.

We saw someone and knocked at the window so they could come and open the door. When we placed our order online we had ordered a dozen protective mats/ blankets, when we were picking up the truck, the truck did not had the blankets, the dolly snap had been broken off and the floor in the cabin had a few small pieces of garbage. We let the person that helped us know that we had ordered the blankets, he went to check and told us they didn't have any, only the ones that were on top of a table all made in a ball, he said he wasn't sure how many were there but that we could use them, there were only 4.

So I have to wait almost a hour for a person to show up and handle the pickup. Very frustrating. The truck was great, the person was fine, but the experience was a pretty bad way to start a moving day.

Austen H.Update the Uhaul mobile app so I can only reserve a location's available units. I reserved a truck via the mobile app only to have someone contact me to change location. The new location was Acorn Mini Storage in Roseville, and they hadn't assigned the equipment, so I was unable to check it out via contactless method. The guy at the store didn't go over any of the details of my rental contract, what the starting fuel/mileage was. He gave me keys and said we'll figure it out later. I then received 3 phone calls from a local Uhaul representative for the details normally addressed prior to leaving with the truck such as fuel/mileage. Returning the truck, I was again unable to check it in via mobile app, so I had to leave the keys in the drop box and hope for the best. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience renting at this location.
Jonathan P.The person (Rich) was friendly and helpful as much as he could be. My order included four (4) 6-packs of packing blankets, one (1) utility dolly, and two (2) furniture dollies. However, when I arrived at the facility he informed me that the site only had one (1) 6-pack of packing blankets and one (1) utility dolly. Rich informed me that the site does not check inventory/availability for equipment ordered; that is ridiculous. I had to move that day and needed the equipment. That is completely unacceptable that a company would allow customers to order supplies (that are crucial and time sensitive) without regard to the companies ability to supply the items. Rich instructed me to another site at which I got the supplies that I needed. So on the day that I needed to move and only had a limited time to do it, I was forced to drive to another facility Additionally, when I tried the mobile app to check the truck back in, the ability to take and attach a photo of the odometer and fuel gauge did not work; I tried it several times. This was not a good experience.
