The truck was full of glass on the passenger seat, which caused my daughter a cut, the tires were low on air and the inside and outside was extremely dirty and the smell was unpleasant. TOTALLY UNSAFE. I called to report the situation y nobody was able to help me,.

Joshua PI rented a U-Haul truck that had significant issues which led to a hazardous situation and extra expenses. When I picked up the truck, I asked if I should inspect it before leaving, but I was told, “No, go straight to the gas station,” as the truck was literally on empty. Upon refueling, I discovered a major problem: the truck had a large hole in the gas tank. I put $80 worth of gas in, which immediately leaked out due to the hole. I contacted the representative who rented me the truck, and he simply told me to “call U-Haul” and then hung up on me. The fire department had to intervene to manage the leak with absorption powder. A U-Haul service technician confirmed, along with the firefighters, that the gas tank had a large gash causing the leak. This not only put me in a dangerous situation but also wasted the fuel I purchased. I had to rent a new truck as a result. I am requesting reimbursement for: 1. The $80 worth of gas that was lost due to the defective truck. 2. The cost of renting a new truck to replace the faulty one. 3. The cost of the dangerous truck that could’ve killed me and my dad, even others Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

ruby qThe unit's mileage and gas levels were not properly updated resulting in over $100 in incorrect charges. The vapor lock also malfunctioned, resulting in spraying gas everywhere. The staff was helpful but the equipment didn't seem properly maintained.

It was also unsafe to swat the wants from my head and arms when I was driving. The location staff is not so friendly but I understand that it’s not an actual uhual location. Fortunately I received a call from Giovanni Dominguez and he was very professional in addressing my concerns. I am very happy with how uhual and Giovanni addressed the issue. Thank you very much.

steven cWhen I picked the vehicle up, it was filthy inside and out. Someone had urinated inside the box and left a shirt where they had urinated. I HAD TO SCRUB THE ENTIRE INSIDE OF THE BOX IN ORDER TO USE IT!!!! I still did t get all the smell out. Never mind the fact the smell permeated inside the cab through the entire trip!! On top of that. When I went to add fuel to the vehicle someone had cut the tank inlet house and fuel spilled onto the deck!!

Hector NWhen I got in the truck the gas was below empty so before I even used it I had to put in 30 dollars which didn’t even put it to the first line with how expensive gas is right now. I only drove it 7 miles total but still has to put more gas in it than I even used which was unfair.
MICHAELYN HThis is the second time I have used a vehicle from this location. The first time the truck I was given had a dead battery. This most recent rental had a bad tire that blew out on the way home from picking up the rental. As well as No gas in the tank.
Albert SI rented a uhaul today and brought it back a little over 1/4 a tank and I was charged an extra $88. I have included pictures of the gas and the tank when I returned it. Please adjust the price charged to my card as soon as possible. I have included the gas picture from today that I put in only 9 miles from your location to ensure the gas was more than enough.
Thelma TI ordered an appliance Dolly and didn’t realize until i got to the location that it wasn’t in the truck. Then i called and they didn’t have any, so i had to use all of my miles to go out of the way to get one. Uhaul then made me pay again. The lady who gave me my keys when picking up had no idea what she was doing. Overall, i will only use the actual uhaul places

J RAfter renting the 10ft truck for a day from this location, and attempting to re-fuel at the end of the day, we saw that the fuel we were pumping into the truck was leaking out at the bottom of the truck, at the same rate. It was scary and super dangerous. A little spark could have made a HUGE problem. When we returned it, they didn't charge us for the re-fueling, but it was obvious they were already aware of the issue, and still let us rent it out, actively endangering myself, my spouse and our kids!!
