U Haul rep I talked to on the 800 number was fantastic! Very professional when I called about my concerns with what the gentleman was telling me at pick up. The person at the counter when I picked it up needs customer service training. He would not look up by my reservation number and kept telling me I did not have a reservation and was very confrontational. He also told me I had to fill up the tank to 1/4 when it was on 1/8. I used 5 miles worth of gas. What company makes you pay for gas you did not use? Even the rep at U Haul said that was not true. I will continue to use U Haul…just not from that facility. He said U Haul gave me a 24.00 gas credit…I told him im not even going 7 miles round trip and I am not putting 24.00 in the tank, he told me U Haul would charge me. That is when I called U Haul and they said that was untrue.
PAULA tI've rented trucks several time before for work. Usually, they are clean and maintained. I usually need to get gas but that's not too big of a deal. Unfortunately, this time, the 1st truck I was given was dirty, gas was empty and a piece of the dash was broken off. When I was done putting gas in, I notice that all the gas leaked out of holes from underneath in the gas tank! I need to be reimbursed for that. The employee was very nice and gave me a new truck right away.

Gurvir SThis was not the location I had issues with, but they had to send me to the Hemet location. And the person getting the trailer for me was not helpful at all, I asked how to attach my car to it and they wouldn't even answer. Really poor service in Hemet.
