Although this contract location was small compared to U-Haul corporate locations, I felt every bit as comfortable and as well taken care of as the large dealers.

The guys who hooked up the trailer seemed not to be totally clear about how to connect the trailer to the SUV.

Staff were super friendly & I had a good check in experience. However, the trailer popped off the hitch not even 10 min away from the location and the staff there hitched the trailer. I believe it was not tightened down enough & later I looked at the instructions and I did not notice them check the locking device under the hitch. I have experience driving trailers, so I was able to rehitch it and carry on with minimal damage to the personal vehicle's bumper (I may follow up on this). The wires connecting the lights was visibly damaged. We checked the lights before leaving the parking lot and they were working. We unhitched the trailer overnight and when we rehitched it in the morning the lights were flickering on and off - the running lights were not staying on and break lights were also in and out.

The drop box outside the business is confusing. Perhaps they could have clear instructions that u haul drop off during business hours should go inside adhesions vinyl. No clear signage and adhesion vinyl has a sign by their door saying “By Appointment Only”

The rental location switched our original reservation and added insurance that we had already opted out of. They refused to give him a paper copy of the bill and added $30 to our expected total price. When we received the email bill we discovered the change. They also changed our return location to a location much farther away from our reservation. The return location in Sandy, Oregon was very courteous and took care of correcting our bill.

We dropped off the vehicle on a Saturday and no one was present at the location so we used the UHaul website to return the vehicle. That process was easy and efficient.
