- I had things on my reservation I never knew were there and did not know were added until after my reservation was complete. When I had upgraded to something I was never told about the price update, nor everything I was paying for when I did upgrade it. They only gave me partial explanation. When I called back to ask for help. I was told there was nothing I could do about anything. I would never go back or use this service again.

The mileage registered on my contract was not accurate. The odometer read 8/10ths of a mile more that what was stated on the contract. With this rental, there was no text message with a web link I could use to confirm the information on the contract. Please bring back this feature.

None of the equipment we had reserved along with the truck was there. Had to move without it and call customer service, be put on hold for 10 minutes in order to have it removed from my bill. I suggest more quality testing of orders.

As a first time renter and uhauler I felt a bit overwhelmed with the information I was barraged with at the front desk. However when it came to the actual vehicle and auto transport itself, I was helped out by a kind gentlemen who instructed me on how to safely use the equipment. I however do not recommend putting your fingers against the ball latch to see if it's secured as he suggested as if the ball latch isn't secured and comes down on your finger while you are checking it, say goodbye to your fingertips. Thankfully this did not happen to me but it came close. As for the vehicle, Driving 2400 miles without cruise control is a bit annoying. It apparently cost the company less to buy trucks without and pass on the expenses of extra gas spent to you. The defrost did not work on the driver's side either which is straight up dangerous depending on the weather conditions. The wooden slats in the back are flimsy. I feel like I also barely made it to my location with one of their older models they gave me for a multiple day move. The gas mileage is awful but that can't be avoided. Honestly I don't know if there is a better company but my experience was stressful and I'll be trying any other company next time just to see if it is more tolerable.

I would say the truck was good for what we used it for. I was able to extend the reservation with no problem. The truck itself was not clean. Dirt in the back, hair from an animal all in the front, but it was a moving truck and got my things from A to B. The staff was nice and willing to help.

Dropped after hours. On line check out great. Reason for average lot was not marked in any way where to place drop off for returns. The rental did the job and had no issues. Will rent again as usual, through my dad's advise, Lee Miller.

Improve? Literally everything...the truck wasn't there when I arrived, when it did show up, it wasn't sanitized, the cab was filthy/disgusting, the cargo area had trash & dirt. The customer service was pitiful, and very uncaring. I had reserved an appliance dolly weeks in advance. They were all rented out when I arrived. I asked the attendant how they can all be rented when I had a reservation? He told me that's just the way it goes. Are you kidding me?! I will never do business here again, and won't likely rent U-Haul again either.

make sure the engin has oil in it and there is no check light on ,and and make sure the equipment is loaded in the truck for you not have to do it your self .ie dolly and pads

The big problem was that I ordered a car dolly and the one there was not operable. It took quite some time for them to find one from another location which they then wanted to charge extra for. They did not because I refused to pay extra. Someone really should inspect equipment regularly to make sure it workable.

The app is awful. It took over an hour to check in. Returning the truck was even worse. If they are going to encourage checking in online, they should have an app that doesn't constantly glitch out.

I will not rent from another U-Haul location or recommend one. The trailer I had rented was not road worthy, when loaded the wheel Newark for made noise and the trailer was unable to be pulled faster than 45 mph without swaying back and forth. I dropped the trailer off to another location that had ‘inspected' it. Wheel bearings act differently loaded and unloaded, they determined nothing was wrong and released the trailer. On the way home I had a similar issue, I was able to drive 55 mph, however they was still some bearing noise unloaded. This is a safety hazards and should be addressed.

Please come out and walk around and check out the truck and equipment with your customers. There was mud all over the drivers side floor board and pedals. Other than that, staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

The location people were courteous and helpful. UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS NOT THE LOCATION I SELECTED WHEN I MADE THE RESERVATION. This made the pickup and return more of an obstacle and time consuming for us.
