They charged me $16 for fuel. I could not stop for fuel, because the 26ft u haul truck was raggedty and shaking, i told the pick up and drop off about truck condition, I was told be careful take my time, just finish your move, did not stop for fuel, it should have been waived since the truck was not check out and up to par

This experience has been the WORST I have ever experienced. There was dog hair EVERYWHERE in the truck so much that it was flying around and no windows were down and drops of blood on BOTH seats and on both seat adjustment handles. I asked the rep for cleaning supplies MYSELF just to clean seats.after the rep told me he had just moved the truck...WOW. Total filth

This location was not where I made the reservation for. U-Haul changed stating the location I chose did have a truck for me. Then I had to drive almost 30 minutes away from my house and passed 2 different U-Haul locations to pick up my truck. It begs the question, why do you even bother to take reservations?

U-Haul's customer service needs improvement. I've rented trailers and dollies 5 different times from your company. Didn't get my military discount and was unable to pick-up at my preferred location. Had to go to another town. Had to put air in tires and oil pivot points.

I used the online check-in and it took way too long! I said I needed the truck for 8 hours not knowing it would take 30 minutes just for check-in.

Drop off location was incredibly confusing to locate at night (accidentally went to the storage area which is separated by a different business). Better signage for that and the key drop off (that one was mostly me not being observant) would be appreciated.

The fuel tank gauge was not working properly when we filled the gas tank. We had to return it at half full and the gauge stuck so we didn't know how much we were putting in. I made some guesses at 10mpg, but the gauge did not show enough. I put in 12gal more and no movement. Then after driving we were nearly full. I think vehicles should be full when rented so the guess work goes away. I gave away $56 of fuel. Doesn't seem right.

We had to shovel the snow ourselves to get the truck out. The paperwork I was given said the gas tank was half full....it was not. The truck was driven less than 60 miles. I put $40 worth of gas in the tank. That put it back where it was when it was picked up.

We had to stand outside in the cold to process the paperwork. Presumably due to COVID-19, but, we had masks in and should have been allowed in the building. Perhaps, you could erect a plastic shield wall for the employee if that is still a concern. Also, our rented vehicle had an unexplained shaking about it that made us nervous during the drive. We were happy to return it as soon as possible.
