I signed up online, but there was no computer at the location, and I was asked to fill in information on the cell phone the person working there was using. Total waste of time!! Then, when I got in the truck, the fuel gauge showed empty, so I went back inside and was told I could drive the truck, but I didn't want to run out of gas, so I put a couple of gallons in, since I wasn't going far. Then when I started to drive off, I realized that NONE of the dashboard displays worked, not the fuel gauge, the speedometer, the turn signals, the gear indicators...NOTHING...
Dean HReserving the truck was a real hustle. App failed, had to wait on the phone for over 20minutes to speak to an agent.
andrew mWhen picking up the truck, the interior was dusty, had small pieces of trash, and a cup holder was sticky from a spill. The Uhauls are also parked on grass outside of the lot.
Collin EPickup/dropoff were easy (once I figured out the app). Truck was pretty dirty inside...and came with three bonus shovels.
Peter MThis was a terrible experience
Josh Ni personally believe that the application was too cumbersome with all the id verification and stuff since i have already rented from a uhaul before and have my information on file....
hieu dattendant was unwilling to be any help, didn't have the 20 ft truck the claimed to have so had to drive a longer truck which I was uncomfortable driving, lock to get key from keybox was frozen, didn't have the blankets I had rented.
Chris CYou charged me for a Dolly and furniture pads that the location didn’t have..
Makael Mdirty interior. keys were not in box had to ask clerk inside to get them. dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. returned early because we were fearful of driving it to much. online help was useless. however clerk did his best to help us and was very kind
alicia mThe area wasn't really marked off well. He just told us to drive up on the grass to unhook. Didn't check with us after unhooking.
Laurie SThe online check in is an awful, tedious process that is not fully explained when renting online. The numerous pictures, multiple alternate contacts is ridiculous!!! You had my contact as the renter, the driver's contact and my son's contact and you still requested a third. That's absurd for Uhaul to randomly call another family member or friend for verification who would have absolutely no idea why Uhaul is calling and probably wouldn't answer the phone anyway. Plus these pick up and drop off places are not necessarily to the best or the safest. Awful, awful, awful is all I can say and beyond stressful.
Robert HI was not given instructions on how to retrieve the keys for my vehicle and spent over an hour on the phone. I asked the manager inside if he had any access to the lockbox and he said I had to do everything through UHaul. After over an hour on the phone, I was told to return to the store and he unlocked it. It was a fairly frustrating process, as I wasn't given instructions from UHaul or the manager at this location.
