It is a very odd place to do business. It's a gas station that collects UHaul drop offs. This is very weird and doesn't make one entirely sure of the legitimacy of the transactions and exchanges. Appearances matter.
JARED CI want to begin by saying that I LOVE Uhaul. I consider you one of the best values around. I have rented trucks and trailers from you for years and have nearly always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, my latest rental experience was disappointing. All 3 of the employees I interacted with had poor English skills. Even though I reserved online and had my card and license saved, it took nearly 15 minutes for me to pick up the vehicle. The employee with the best language skills could not be bothered to stop sweeping the floor to help her. Another employee tried to help her, but stopped every time another customer came up to the cash register (they also operate a gas station/convenience store) to ring up that customer. While the truck was otherwise clean, the windshield has so many bug splats and road film that it was difficult to see with the sun's glare.
David EMake certain that the size truck they ordered is available at the time they choose to pick up. Don’t charge more for the only truck available if they’ve ordered a smaller truck. Don’t tell them to not fill truck up at pump so they don’t get stuck with higher gas fee. This was supposed to be a 40.00, hour long, 10 mile trip that I was ultimately charged 75.00. I felt gouged and tricked.
Tamara FExcellent experience. At pick-up time, the truck was in good condition and ready to go. The U-Haul online and app experience was great and made things really easy. Only difficult was that it would not scan the back of my license, however, a picture of it was good to move forward. Also, at this location, there was an actual friendly person available at the location at 8:30 a.m. to assist. The truck worked great. I appreciate the low load height and the long ramp to make loading much easier. On return, it was easy to re-fill the vehicle with gas at the location. I returned it with a live person at the site who was also helpful and friendly. Again, great experience! Well done!
MICHAEL FI had to clean and dump stuff out of the truck before I could load it. They also added extra mileage to the bill. Threatened to not let me get the truck claiming my email and emergency contact info was invalid. Ive used tge email for 15 years and my sons phone number has been the same for 13 years. It seemed like she was trying to make it difficult for me to rent.

Leannys PHave accurate software in place that reads the fuel amount that I put in the truck when I returned the truck and accurately compares to the fuel level I received when I picked up the truck. I was charged for fuel when I turned in the truck after putting in more gas than there was when I picked up the truck. That experience was very irritating to me. The bright spot was that the call to customer service was fast and efficient and that I received US based customer service agents. The reps were personable and that goes a long way with me. Thank you!
Paul HAll the trucks were plowed in by snow. All the trucks had about 10" of snow and ice on them that I had to clean off. After cleaning off all the snow and ice from the first truck and thawing it out, I got in and tested the windshield wipers and the passenger wiper blade was bent and fell off. The second truck they offered me was also covered with about 10" of snow and ice and smelled like cigarettes but at least the windshield wipers worked. Then I had to borrow a snow shovel to dig a path out of the snowbank so I could get the truck out of the parking spot. Lastly, the rental guy told me the rear driver side wheel needed a little bit of air. I asked him if he had an air compressor, after all it was a gas station, and he said yes but the air compressor was currently broken. So I decided to drive the truck home and fill it up with my air compressor at home. After I got home and pulled out my air compressor it became clear the reason the rear tire needed air was because the steel rim on the wheel was bent. So I called Uhaul and they sent a roadside service guy to my house and he repaired the bent rim and refilled the tire with air and put it back on the truck. I would never rent from Akash International again. Bad experience...sorry Uhaul but it's true.
Christopher WThe language barrier was very difficult. A simple return turned into a 20 minute catastrophe trying to explain that the truck was paid for at time of pickup. The gentleman had to call someone who spoke his language to get help with the app he uses to rent and return equipment. I wouldn’t use this location for anything.
