My experience with uhaul so far has been great! I would only recommend to maybe not add the safe insurance automatically. I forgot it was there abs paid for it. I did not want it at the time. Everything else was great.

HECTOR RAlamo auto and the owner were amazing, I originally booked with another store but they ran out of trucks and was moved to Alamo auto. And I’m so thankful I did. Reza the owner was so down to earth and helped every step of the way from beginning to end.

PHILIP ACLEAN THE VEHICLE, MAYBE WORK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE CHARGES THAT ARE MANDATORY. TRY TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE TRUCK SO THAT YOU AREN'T DOUBLE BOOKED.

Jon CI had an exceptional experience at Alamo Auto U-Haul. After I had may my reservation for a pick up truck, the Representative Reza, took care of my promptly, courteously, and professionally. A better experience than I had expected. No doubt I will use Alamo Auto U-Haul in the future. I had no Idea that this store was less than 2 miles from my home. I certainly did not want to go all over town to find a pick up truck I could rent. Overall an Outstanding Experience.

Giovanni DFirst off, the website says the location I went to at Alamo Auto located at 6757 Culebra Road, San Antonio, TX 78238 was a self-drop off UHAUL location. It was not. A representative from UHAUL called me to told me I had to return the truck at 6pm because the owner was closing down his shop for a week. And he needed to be there when I dropped off because he has a gate around his property and he was closing for a he day at 6pm. So we had only 3 hours to complete our move. When we returned it, the owner was rude and complained that the gas tank was $2 short. Even though we left it the way we picked it up. The truck was extremely outdated, windows were manual, and the truck wouldn’t go over 75 mph. I will not be going here to this location. I feel ripped off and was given terrible service.

He refused to explain any questions I had & demanded that I leave the premises or he would call the police! He said I should go waste someone else’s time he did not have time for me! He could have taken the time to explain very RUDE and unprofessional!!!!
Bessie HDid not count the furniture pads before I left from picking up the U-Haul and 1 was missing so I got charged a $6 fee when returning. Everything else was great.

Ismail AI got charged for using 80mi @ .89 and I wassuppose to have 50 free miles. Instead they charged me for the whole 80 and not the difference between 80 and 50. I was only suppose to be charged for 30 since 50 we free. Odo was at 121767 when we got it and 121847 when we returned it. We were a lil bit off the line from half a tank and he charged us like if we brought it back a lil over a 1/4 tank and got charged $24.

Morgan WI put yes because they deserve good reviews, but I really won’t because I wanna keep all the reservations for myself! I really enjoyed Reza’s service. Their prices were great, and he even offered to stay up to 20 minutes if need be. He didn’t even accept the tip I wanted to give because he didn’t have to make that offer at all. What a great guy. I look forward to using this location in the future!
