You can improve for the next customer by having at this location someone who speaks and understands English. Start there...simple but important unless you are planning on serving solely hispanic people. I was ignored and delayed because no one could/would? communicate with me for literally 10 mins I just stood there listening to loud conversations in a foreign language Then, move on to training: When it says everywhere that the rental is 19.99/day, and you (kindly, so they could flip it/rent again) tell them you will be back in 2 hours then come back in 3 hours that doesn't mean you get to charge for an additional day (appeared on the receipt I had emailed from U-Haul...none given in hand, no PDA or other handheld & not to my face)...that's right, they charged me for an additional day saying I was 'late'.... I don't have the app, I'm not downloading the app to do something I'm going to do every 5 years or so. They wasted 20 minutes of my rental time figuring out which van I was getting, even after I provided them with my name, rental agreement # and driver's license.... Not a lick of paper or anything to verify/sign/decline...I declined smart move when I arranged the rental on my PC yet this location charged me for it twice- on the original rental and on the 'extra day'. And ethically speaking: this shitty grimy gas station I was forced to obtain the van I needed from is charging $2.99 as are the other 3 gas stations within a block...you don't/shouldn't get to charge $7 per gallon for 'convenience'. I reiterate no receipt or other paperwork from the rental was given, just a thumbs up & 'all set' from the guy pumping gas (no one in the office). U-haul you point out on your agreement that this is a legal, binding contract...as such it should be delivered in hand, this is not the time or place to proclaim you are saving trees by going paperless.

This is bad. I use the truck three days. I pay $600.30 it’s a lot amount this bullshit. I never rent again.

The location did not have to correct vehicle on that we reserved at the pick up location which delayed the start of our trip by an hour and a half and in return not being able to drop off the vehicle before the drop offs closing hours which was also not shared that we could've dropped it off after hours with the use of a key drop system. The location also stated we would be refunded for unused time and there was no need to change the drop off date/time. We had the truck less than 24hrs with no mishaps and returned with more fuel than we actually needed to provide.

Check in/out was slow. The franchise software seems to be difficult to use for locations like this one.

The truck itself was fine. Worked well and was clean. The pick-up location, however, was fine but not great. We had a 9 am appointment but were told that we had to "wait for the guy to show up to get us the keys" and that "he would be here any minute" He showed up at about 9:30 and got our information. The shop was very small so we waited outside. He seemed informed but overall very litter information was shared. We were given the keys and were on our way. Drop-off was very easy. We just drove up and handed the keys to a worker and were told that was all we needed to do. Overall it was an easy experience but was different than other U-Haul experiences we have had.
