Kinette cCustomer service is absolutely horrible and useless. I spent 1 hour on hold on moving day and finally gave up. My truck was not at my scheduled pickup location and it took 2 hours out of my moving out day. New owners of my sold property were actually trying to move in while I was still driving to the rearranged pickup location. I ordered 2 wardrobe boxes and 2 mattress sleeves, which I tried to get at the new pickup location but the attendant refused to give them to me. The products were actually delivered to my sold property the day after I moved out. Useless! Now the fight to get appropriate credits begins!

Alan HAttendant was very helpful. However, the U-Haul system was down and the 1888 number was total garbage. It wasn’t helpful at all and it made me an hour and a half late.
MATTHEW BI was very pleased with Alex's fair and transparent dealings with me. When our truck had MINOR equipment malfunctions (battery), he IMMEDIATELY dealt with it. This depot is conveniently located, on the town's main village. The property was clean, neat and all the shelves were well stocked (with [what it seemed] everything you might forget mid-travels). I'm glad I was able to support this independent service centre. And so should you!

Michel SHorrible experience we were there at 9 o’clock to pick up our vehicle. The app on the phone kept shutting us out. I had to call customer service three times. There was no one there to help us. The guy who was supposed to be there was in his restaurant supposedly sleeping we were supposed to get our vehicle at nine and it was after 11 by the time we got the key totally unacceptable.

Jason TOne suggestion for this location. When I returned the vehicle I put the keys into a slot in one of the service bay doors next door. I do apologize for that however, since that slot was marked as a "return key", I assumed it was part of the U-HAUL operation. I suggest the dispatcher makes sure the customer knows exactly where to return the keys after hours. Again, I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Richard EAcceptance of Debit (Cash) for All transactions no matter the vehicle of choice would improve the experience immeasurably. I avoid the use of Credit cards for obvious reasons including abuse, exorbitant interest etc. Thankyou for your time and attention.

michael mWe booked a 9 foot van but when we arrived it showed a 10 foot truck and they had no vans so we were stuck paying 89cents per km instead of 59 cents which made a huge difference on my sons move to university.Will probably not use u haul next time as the person behind the counter didn’t really care.
Andrew JEven though the Truck was on the lot at 8 am when I arrived to pick it up, I was not allowed to take the truck for an hour and 1/2. Apparently the attendant could not return the truck to the rental pool on the computer. The attendant stated that this was NOT a U-Haul center and that he DID NOT work for U-Haul despite the U-Haul dealer signs on display throughout the location. I had to pay my moving crew of 3 for 1 1/2 hours each while they sat around waiting for the attendant to resolve the problem. He stated emphatically that pumping gas was his priority and that resolving my problem was of little importance to him. He then told me to go to another U-Haul, the closest being over an hour away I felt that I was caught up in a U-Haul scam designed to maximize the mileage charge. I booked a truck several days in advance at a location 2 miles from my storage unit only to be told I couldn't take the truck on the lot and that I should drive 40 miles away to another U-Haul dealership. U-HAUL must contact this dealer to ensure that U-Haul customers are given a priority. The owner of this location has a single attendant responsible for pumping gas, running a convenience store and operating a U -Haul dealership that they deny is their responsibility. Your computer system needs to be updated IF rental trucks can't be returned to the system OR you need to better train the attendant at Alex's Gas Bar and U-Haul dealership in how to use the computer system to ensure Trucks are properly returned to rental pool. This was a very disappointing experience and I would be hard pressed to recommend the Meaford U-Haul dealership to anyone.
