This is apparently a “self service” only facility so you will not receive any help hooking up your trailer. Which means you must be physically capable of picking up the trailer yourself and have the knowledge of hooking it up safely. I also left the U-Haul facility without my safety chain fitting properly and was told it was probably “ok” as long as they’re somewhat on.
KRISTEN MWill never use this company again.. Between the extra charges and the total cost for 73 miles in a 15 ' truck w / a car dolly for 24 hrs.= $425.00. I could have hired a moving company. They would have loaded and unloaded plus delivery for $300.00.. Their company name should be WE HAUL "your bank acount" They sure are out to get people when ever they can.. Very Very Very Dissatisfied !!!!!
RANDAL SWe ended getting a call while we had the truck that telling us we would have to go to another location than the one we had chosen which was way out of our way to drop the truck off. Then we were charged almost $40 for about $10 of gas.
Joseph HThe 26' truck was a very rough ride. I've rented U-Haul trucks in the past and found them to be a comfortable ride. This vehicle did not seem to have high mileage, so the issue must have been maintenance. The truck functioned properly and provided acceptable fuel economy.
Robert WThis location was closed upon my return of the U-Haul truck. I didn’t see a drop box for the key to be returned. That was the only disadvantage . I tried calling the number , but no one answered. I thought maybe like a third party would answer the calls if customers had any questions. Overall an easy process for returning except for no view of a key drop box. So I had to think outside the box. I Dropped the key in the PAYMENTS drop box.
SIMONES DTrailer was fine except the lights did not work.

Patricia MI was charged for 2 gallons of gas after I returned the vehicle. I drove a total of 24 miles and put 3 gallons of gas in the truck. You state your 15ft truck averages 10mpg. Even at 8mpg the 3 gallons should have covered the 24 miles. So you all got a total of 5 gallons of gas out of me for 24 miles. Plus the gauge was above where I received it upon return. Other issue is I had no chance to dispute as the check in was done after I left, should have been while I was there. There is a gas station less than 200Yds from the drop off.

Francis FThere should be a better process for the fees to rent a vehicle from this location. I was charged an extra $10.35 for for gas among many other fees that were not known upfront. My initial rate was $64 and change and when I got my receipt it was a total over $100. This should be better explained before customers leave and finalize there rental.
Tiffany JThe u-haul rep at this location was pleasant and helpful, but the equipment was below par, and the check out process using the app was a mess. The rep was off location at a meeting, and thankfully returned while i was struggling with the app telling me I wasn't at the right location, when in fact, I was! When she arrived, I reverted to standard check out, and was glad for that, as the back of the original truck assigned to me was full of scattered moving blankets and a hand truck, which I had not ordered. Once the rep took care of that, I started the truck, and discovered the engine light would not turn off. The rep suggested taking the truck, then allowing maintenance to come out and check the truck while we were loading it to clear it for driving. I opted to take a different truck (which ALSO had unordered equipment in the back), as I didn't want a half-loaded truck to be deemed undrivable. My rental was one way, and for a free extra day's use, I'd agreed to take the truck to one of several drop off locations available that was an hour away from my destination (after unloading). Throughout the rental, I continued to receive app updates regarding the original, unused truck, as well as info about changes to my drop off location (without checking with me about the change first). I took a photo of the mileage and gas needle location pre trip, and one post trip. The needle was in the exact same place. I shared the photos with the GM of the location, and he agreed it was accurate. However, when my receipt arrived by email, they'd added and charged me for three gallons of gas. I've opened a customer claim process to address the issue. This was an all around frustrating and poorly managed rental. Navigation of the u-haul app was a hot mess of a train wreck! Everything I attempted to go through the app for required a phone call instead, as the app could not complete the action, or provide the answers to the arising issues.

Alfred BThe truck was fine except there was a short in the fan so that after you drove for awhile. It worked fine when first started but after30 minutes, you had no AC and you had no air flow on vent. Made for a horrible 7 hour drive each way. It was 89 degrees and raining so we couldn't open the windows. Horrible experience. It is not the fault of the renting location. they were great and you would never know it was faulty unless you drove it for a bit.

josie mThe lady and location are great! U-Haul is a terrible company though, and how you rent trucks is terrible. If something is not available, do not allow people to rent and then drive to the location (or to be called a few hours before to tell them it’s cx or delayed). I had to make several different arrangements and almost fight another human to get this damn truck. U-Haul website and call center are terrible. I almost went and bought a damn truck. So yes my advice is get your shit in line you stanky hot dog smelling toad fart. (This is not for the location, the location I picked up from was nice and the lady was so kind)
Brittany SThere was no dolly available and seems to be the Standard. If we ordered a dolly why not call and tell us there is not one available? Also we were told we would not be charged if we turned it in after 2 because she said we had it for the day but we were charged

Joshua HI rented a truck, but the gas tank wasn't full. The person at the counter asked us to fill up the truck. I complied and put in $40 worth of gas. We drove less than 20 miles. I discovered that you should only have filled the truck for what you used. That is not what the person at the counter told us to do. I feel taken advantage of. I know you probably don't care, but I will never rent from you again. I'll take my business somewhere else.
Marie Hthe truck was turn in at 7:15 pm on the night of the 27th, the person cheated us out of a days rental, they didn't check in in until the 4:45 pm on the 29th. I don't know if I will use you again. I have been renting trucks for the last two months. I may try enterprise rental after this issue.
Lewis CU-Haul moved my pickup location by 25 miles from south Charlotte to Concord. It was very inconvenient and I had no say in the matter, but this located was extremely helpful.

CARY NI have rented many uhauls it was never handled like this. The lady never left the desk except to get appliance dolly and left it in the office. Never went outside with me to walk around the truck. The truck was filthy in the back dirt and mud never wept out. The previous persons paperwork was left inside vehicle. That tells me she never checked it out. Those vehicles need to be checked I'm case there is damage or dirty. Will never rent from that location.
Sheila SMultiple attempts to call the location after reserving online. I never received confirmation. I called to verify reservation.. The phone was never answered. I called Uhaul Corp to find another location. They assured me the location was staffed. I went there to see if my reservation had been received. I told the lady they must have phone issues. She told me ( in a not so friendly manner) that she was not allowed to answer the phone if she had other customers in the office !!!!???? I've never heard of a business that didn't allow staff to answer the phone calls of other customers......If any other uhaul had the trailer I needed, I would have gone there. I won't bother with this location in the future....

William HLost over an hour and a half trying to get the door closed. I had to pay my labor extra due to the delay. The door was jammed from the spring and cable. the cables broke and the door came slamming down. We were lucky no one was injured. You could not get hold of anyone at uhaul to help. We reserved an appliance dolly. When we got there they said they did not have a dolly. Just an awful experience, avoid if you can.

zachery SI picked up my Uhaul Saturday morning to get ready for a small move. I’ve never had a single issue with Uhaul before. I drove the truck to my house ready to load it up. Then I opened the back and I was APPALLED at how dirty it was. I had to sweep and mop the back area before loading any furniture. I took picture of it. Shatiagre TI opted for online rental checkout (contactless), but still had to go inside to get the key. Check in via the app was easy to follow and quick. Although I rented the truck for 22 hours, I returned it in 10. The Uhaul app would not allow me to initiate a return. I kept getting an error message that my session timed out and to return to Uhaul com. When I called All About Storage to leave a voicemail that I returned the truck and put the keys in the drop off box, the phone continued to ring and never went to voicemail. I ended up calling Uhaul's customer service. The advised that they will add a note that the truck was returned and to keep calling All About Storage Concord because they may not be aware of the technical issue with checking in. I called several times between Dec. 31st and Jan. 2. One of my calls was after a friend drove by and advised that All About Storage was open. Still no answer or voicemail. The number I called was (704)782-5369. This was the number on the app as well as my receipt . The app finally showed my truck rental being returned Jan. 3rd and not Dec. 31st.
