Even though the truck was older, had some cosmetic damage and imbalanced tires it was clean and the service there is excellent. Operators are very friendly and accommodating.

Uhaul gave me an address for some shitty used car lot and the one employee claimed they don’t even take uhaul rentals, gave me a number to call, and another person directed me to an even shittier mechanic shop with no employees or space to park my rental return. Super unprofessional experience and very annoying to take care of

Site did not have all of the equipment requested. The fuel was provided at 25% and the site agents tried to charge me for the 75% that was missing prior to my rental. Take good pictures if attempting to rent here. I was also charged for the rental for two separate vehicles for one move, despite completely complying with the requests of the agent.

I came to thus uhaul dealer with no problems got my truck told me it only be $60 or about cause I was only going 5 miles keeping the truck for a few hours doing a short move. They had told me if they are closed to drop off at their location down to road. Got there was easy to drop keys in the box and that was all I was told to do. Today a few days after renting the truck I get a receipt that stated I was charged $250 in total for the truck. I was completely ripped off by this uhaul dealer and I'm just disappointed. 10 ft truck used for 3 hours and drove only 5 miles Got charged $250 by a sketchy auto shop.

Am happy that the services you provide for even your first time customers are as easy as 1, 2, 3. Thank you for making moving so easy. The guy Ronaldo and his helper were professionals I was left in awe seeing how they packed and moved the items. Once again thank you for your excellent services. Be blessed be safe. Terrible service. Should have a different location. Then to top it off I got a call from U-Haul stating that I had not dropped off my trailer on a Saturday when I had dropped it off on a Thursday. So I called in to find out what happened. Apparently the location I dropped it off at never called U-Haul to let them know nor did they assist me in doing self check in which would’ve been nice. Then I asked the lady what what happens if it wasn’t checked in and/or it was stolen. She told me it was my responsibility which makes no sense to me because I dropped it off at a U-Haul location with a U-Haul personnel person. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. The lady on the phone was completely rude to the point where I just hung up on her. If I can choose to do it all over again and there was another trailer company I would choose another trailer company.

It was not clear that there were two lots being serviced from a single location. I went to a lot for pick up that did not have any buildings on it, but was told to “go inside” to get my keys. I had to walk down the street a couple blocks to find an office where I could pick up my keys, but there was no indication on the lot or in the app that led told me what to do, I guessed after searching for other uhaul locations on google maps

1) vehicle was not at the location noted on the contract, it was a block away. 2) vehicle was pinned into the parking lot 3) driveway leading out of the lot was partially blocked by a uhaul vehicle.

Pick up location was in fact NOT EVEN AT THIS ADDRESS. It was across town. Which I didn’t realize until after multiple phone calls to Uhaul where I waited for 10min each time to speak to an actual person. When I finally got to the location the truck was not where it was said to be AND there was no key in the lock box. Overall TERRIBLE experience. Started my move over an hour later than scheduled with all the mess.

This was not really a building. It was a gated parking lot with no attendant. Luckily there was space to park the truck, but I wasn't sure if I parked this correctly (parked as the other trucks were). Initially I was expecting to drop this off at the location ~1 mile or a 5 minute drive away from my house. I was rerouted to a different location which was ~30 minutes away and I incurred additional expenses returning home which weren't planned for. This was new to me and somewhat of a surprise.

Do not offer online check in if it barely works. I continued to receive an error message while trying to check in for the vehicle, and received two different pick up locations, one of which was wrong.

You changed my pick location without telling me, truck filthy. No equipment at location. No mattress cover I paid for. No gas, paperwork wrong. Truck filty had to hose down. And clean before loading.

Safety and legitimacy of this place are very poor. No one was there when I came to pick up my rental and then pulled up in an unmarked white van claiming they could get me a U-Haul. No paperwork was shown to me. There was a check engine light on and the motor sounded funny but the owner said I should drive it anyway. Cost me money with movers by being late.

The address that was sent me via email was incorrect. The address listed on my confirmation email was for a different business. There was no sign or direction of where to go when I arrived to the wrong location. I attempted to call the office or customer service and couldn’t reach anyone. I waited 30 minutes before I could speak to the staff in person. Please update the address for the confirmation email and provide clear instructions.

The address from my order confirmation led me to a small random lot with UHaul trucks / trailers… not the business listed or pictures on the UHaul site. I stood there confused until a man rode up on a mountain bike named Johnny and asked me if I was there for a truck. Johnny told me to walk down the block and go to a random office (not the business listed) and wait for him there. He came back about 20 minutes later to check me out. As he was checking me the computer started to freeze up and he said, “This is going to take all day… you’re good. Call me if you have any problems. The number on the key is the number on the top of the truck.” Then gave my brother and I the keys and left us to it. When we walked back to the lot there was a trailer parked in front of our truck. Johnny was now nowhere to be found and my brother and I had to physically push the trailer out of the way by ourselves so that I could pull the truck out. Within two minutes of driving the gas light came on and said “50 miles to empty.” Once we finished our move we went to drive the truck back and we were trapped in the alley by another UHaul that was parked there since hours earlier. We tried honking the horn on and off for about 10 minutes but no one returned to the truck. We called Johnny and explained to him the situation and he asked for the the number off the top of the other truck. He said, “That’s not my area. Sorry.” then hung up with no explanation or offer of help or what to do. I opened a roadside assistance ticket on my phone and my brother called the customer service line and they were able to contact the other truck’s driver and he finally moved it after we waited for over an hour. When we went to return the truck I searched “All Day Tire Shop” on Google for directions and it took me to the location from the picture on the UHaul website… NOT the place where I picked up the truck. So I had to go back to my email and use the address from my confirmation email again to get to the random lot again. I put gas in the truck and when I got to the random lot the “50 miles to empty light” came on again… just like it did when I picked up the truck. Once again I was greeted by Johnny out on the street who asked me if I put gas in the truck. I told him it was 50 miles to empty when I got it and that it’s 50 miles to empty now. He told me to give him the keys and that I’m “good to go.” No receipt… all done on the street. Once I got home I get my UHaul statement and it says I’m being charged $67.50 for gas. This is ridiculous! This whole experience was a 0 out of 10. I’m very upset.

It was an interesting experience. I wanted to work with a person and not an app so schedule specifically for that. U haul switched my order the night before. Johnny was super helpful walking me through the process and helping me get my truck. He did upcharge me for the insurance after I decline initally and didnt ask me which I didnt like. I had coverage through my own car insurance. It was also strange to pick up from a random lot without vans well marked. Ultimately I had to try my key on 4 different vans before finding the right one.

This place is in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood and does not have a parking lot so it is very difficult to park the vehicle somewhere legal. The other issue is I could not find a key drop so an after hours drop off was not possible.

Don't show this location as a Pick-up site. They only take Drop-offs. They sent me to 3353 W.Division, where they had my reservation, but did not have a truck ready for me. I waited over an hour to finally get a truck. Then the outgoing fuel level was wrong in the contract (which I did not see because they did not print my contract).

EXCELLENT!! I had a great experience with All Day Tire Shop!! Johnny and Terry went above and beyond to make sure the truck I reserved was ready in time for my move. I had not driven a Uhaul truck before and Johnny gave me some tips. They were so kind and so helpful!! Something I learned about Uhaul in general, during a busy time it's best to call Uhaul at least a day before to confirm the reservation and confirm with the location the pickup address.

While this particular location was helpful, I was shuttled to four different U-Haul locations because the first location where my prepaid U-Haul was assigned insisted they didn’t have any U-Hauls and were extremely unhelpful resolving the issue. I scheduled an 8 am pickup and was unable to get my U-Haul until 10AM, causing issues with my movers.

This was the cleanest moving truck I have ever rented. The only problem that I ran into was wanting a half dozen moving blankets and I didn't request to change it to six. I also failed to count the correct number before leaving, too. Fortunately I was reimbursed for the cost of the missing ones (which weren't really missing, I just didn't have them in the first place). Thank you U-Haul!

Uhaul changed my location pick up FOUR times. This is not the location I picked it up so I can’t rate it. It was an awful experience and wonder why did I make a reservation 2 weeks in advance for them to change locations the day before.

Uhaul sent me to 3 locations to pick up a trailer. The first location where I originally booked the trailer told me they don't even have trailers there ever so why would uhaul send me there. This company is a joke and made me drive to the ghetto to get a trailer. Never again too many bad experiences with Uhaul. No disrespect to the local uhaul places they all complained about the customer service.

The drop off location had no personnel present and no parking place for the truck. We were required to take and fax numerous photos of the interior of the truck, the dashboard, etc. Overall, we are proud of the fact that we successfully met all of the challenges thrown at us by U-Haul. A focus on customer service is seriously needed.

Not the greatest part of town in Chicago, but the shop itself was fine with very helpful and informed staff. Big disappointment was the lack of any contact by U-haul as promised to let us know where the equipment was located followed by how far away it was from the "requested" pick up location.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. However, it could have been much better. The truck was already awaiting me. So that was a great start. But no one at the location (this is a tire shop and not an actual UHaul facility per ce) knew anything about the UHaul aspect ... they knew the phone number for me to call and were nice enough. The lady on the phone was helpful and did a fine job. I guess since this was my very first time using a place in Chicago and I live out in the Rockford area, so I'm used to full fledged UHaul facilities and not locations that do UHaul on the side and so my opinion is based on those past experiences.

Had a great experience with this location. They called the day before to confirm our drop off. We told them we were early so wanted to drop off a trailer and truck early. They offered to pick up both at our location. Super communication. During my journey I damaged the trailer and they handled that transaction well and professionally as well! Recommend this location.

The truck pickup location was changed from All Day Tire Shop to a location that was much further away, not walking distance like the reserved spot. Once we found out about the change and drove there, the process was very smooth. DON'T CHANGE PICKUP LOCATIONS.

Equipment was not ready upon arrival at appointment time. Location was unaware of my own and a couple other customers’ reservation. Location’s associates had to transfer me and a couple other customers to a different location that was further away in order for us to receive the equipment we requested.

Johnny was very helpful! I found the overall UHaul process a bit troubling though as the place I was originally assigned to did not have the equipment, I was assigned to. Then the next location I was bounced to when I called said they could not guarantee the equipment would be back by the time I was to pick it up. I found that unacceptable. I was reassigned to this location when I called the 800 line. So things turned out ok, but added to the stress of a moving day that I think could have and should have been avoided.

Johnny was super helpful and friendly. He answered the phone several times late into the night as I was figuring out how to park and leave the vehicle. I had also forgotten my computer and some other valuables in the vehicle which he helped me recover promptly and easily enough.

First of all, this location kept calling to tell me I had to pick up at different locations throughout the week and then she told me the morning before to go pick up @ a location that was more than 5 miles from the original spot I was supposed to pick up. On top of all that, they then told me to not drop my car off at the location I was supposed to because they wanted to pick it up from my place because someone else needed the same type of van the following day. I told them I didn't feel comfortable doing that. They kept calling throughout the day to see if I would change my mind and see if they could come pick it up then demanding they would charge my card if they didn't pick up. Had to be on the phone with customer service at 2 different pick-up destinations, a drop-off location, Uhaul customer service, and a Uhaul manager for over an hour. I was EXTREMELY upset with how the day went due to Uhaul not having a tracking system and terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company and especially any moving service in the city.

You told me to go to 1900 W Division to pick up my truck, but it was not there. Luckily the number I called connected me with the right person. Turns out the truck was all the way at 3353 W Division. SO I had to take a 25 dollar cab ride to get the truck. On top of that I ordered a dolly with the truck only to find out that there was not one which made my move all the more difficult. My expectations were not even close to being met and the stress added from the disorganization was not welcome. I will be contacting UHAUL customer service about my experience as it was less than stellar.

Johnny was the best. There was a slight mix up with my reserved truck, in which Johnny was extremely proactive in solving this for us. He set up a situation that worked out much better than my initial plan and made all the calls for me. I am very grateful for Johnny having gone above and beyond for us. Thank you so much Johnny!

Got an email and text guaranteeing me a Date/Time/ and this location for my truck pickup but when I got there my truck was not there and was informed that I would need to go to another location. Had to take an Uber to the new location $$ and when I got there it literally took 40 min for the person to get me a truck and I was the first person in line. By the time I left there were six people waiting in line because it took so long. I can rent a car in 5 min.
