EXCELLENT!! I had a great experience with All Day Tire Shop!! Johnny and Terry went above and beyond to make sure the truck I reserved was ready in time for my move. I had not driven a Uhaul truck before and Johnny gave me some tips. They were so kind and so helpful!! Something I learned about Uhaul in general, during a busy time it's best to call Uhaul at least a day before to confirm the reservation and confirm with the location the pickup address.Samira A.

While this particular location was helpful, I was shuttled to four different U-Haul locations because the first location where my prepaid U-Haul was assigned insisted they didn't have any U-Hauls and were extremely unhelpful resolving the issue. I scheduled an 8 am pickup and was unable to get my U-Haul until 10AM, causing issues with my movers.Katrina A.

This was the cleanest moving truck I have ever rented. The only problem that I ran into was wanting a half dozen moving blankets and I didn't request to change it to six. I also failed to count the correct number before leaving, too. Fortunately I was reimbursed for the cost of the missing ones (which weren't really missing, I just didn't have them in the first place). Thank you U-Haul!BRANDON L.

Uhaul sent me to 3 locations to pick up a trailer. The first location where I originally booked the trailer told me they don't even have trailers there ever so why would uhaul send me there. This company is a joke and made me drive to the ghetto to get a trailer. Never again too many bad experiences with Uhaul. The drop off location had no personnel present and no parking place for the truck. We were required to take and fax numerous photos of the interior of the truck, the dashboard, etc. Overall, we are proud of the fact that we successfully met all of the challenges thrown at us by U-Haul. Not the greatest part of town in Chicago, but the shop itself was fine with very helpful and informed staff. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. However, it could have been much better. The truck was already awaiting me. So that was a great start. But no one at the location (this is a tire shop and not an actual UHaul facility per ce) knew anything about the UHaul aspect ... they knew the phone number for me to call and were nice enough. The lady on the phone was helpful and did a fine job. I guess since this was my very first time using a place in Chicago and I live out in the Rockford area, so I'm used to full fledged UHaul facilities and not locations that do UHaul on the side and so my opinion is based on those past experiences.David S.

Had a great experience with this location. They called the day before to confirm our drop off. We told them we were early so wanted to drop off a trailer and truck early. They offered to pick up both at our location. Super communication. During my journey I damaged the trailer and they handled that transaction well and professionally as well! The truck pickup location was changed from All Day Tire Shop to a location that was much further away, not walking distance like the reserved spot. Once we found out about the change and drove there, the process was very smooth. DON'T CHANGE PICKUP LOCATIONS.Stephen G.

Equipment was not ready upon arrival at appointment time. Location was unaware of my own and a couple other customers' reservation. Johnny was very helpful! I found the overall UHaul process a bit troubling though as the place I was originally assigned to did not have the equipment, I was assigned to. Then the next location I was bounced to when I called said they could not guarantee the equipment would be back by the time I was to pick it up. I found that unacceptable. I was reassigned to this location when I called the 800 line. So things turned out ok, but added to the stress of a moving day that I think could have and should have been avoided.Rodney V.
Johnny was super helpful and friendly. He answered the phone several times late into the night as I was figuring out how to park and leave the vehicle. I had also forgotten my computer and some other valuables in the vehicle which he helped me recover promptly and easily enough.Adam W.
First of all, this location kept calling to tell me I had to pick up at different locations throughout the week and then she told me the morning before to go pick up @ a location that was more than 5 miles from the original spot I was supposed to pick up. On top of all that, they then told me to not drop my car off at the location I was supposed to because they wanted to pick it up from my place because someone else needed the same type of van the following day. I told them I didn't feel comfortable doing that. They kept calling throughout the day to see if I would change my mind and see if they could come pick it up then demanding they would charge my card if they didn't pick up. Had to be on the phone with customer service at 2 different pick-up destinations, a drop-off location, Uhaul customer service, and a Uhaul manager for over an hour. I was EXTREMELY upset with how the day went due to Uhaul not having a tracking system and terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company and especially any moving service in the city.Diana R.
You told me to go to 1900 W Division to pick up my truck, but it was not there. Luckily the number I called connected me with the right person. Turns out the truck was all the way at 3353 W Division. SO I had to take a 25 dollar cab ride to get the truck. On top of that I ordered a dolly with the truck only to find out that there was not one which made my move all the more difficult. My expectations were not even close to being met and the stress added from the disorganization was not welcome. I will be contacting UHAUL customer service about my experience as it was less than stellar.Rick J.

Johnny was the best. There was a slight mix up with my reserved truck, in which Johnny was extremely proactive in solving this for us. Got an email and text guaranteeing me a Date/Time/ and this location for my truck pickup but when I got there my truck was not there and was informed that I would need to go to another location. Had to take an Uber to the new location $$ and when I got there it literally took 40 min for the person to get me a truck and I was the first person in line. By the time I left there were six people waiting in line because it took so long. I can rent a car in 5 min.Martin S.

The uhaul was not ready at the location, we had to ride in a vehicle with some guy to a different location to get the uhaul making it 2:30 pm before we were in the truck instead of our 1:30 pick up time. Drop off location is a tiny shop on a super crowded street in Chicago. There is no parking lot, no other uhauls (making it incredibly difficult to find) and very limited parking on the streets (especially to park a 20 foot truck). When I called asking what I should do, the shop owner said he could pick it up from where I was in the morning. A location that has no place to park is a terrible idea for a rental drop off for large trucks.Michael L.

This location gave me the worst moving experience I have ever had. First of all, this location doesn't actually have any Uhaul trucks there. Once you get there they tell you to drive 15 minutes to another location. When I got to the correct location I waited in line for about an hour (not a big deal. I was expecting this). While waiting in line the guy at the desk was talking to someone saying how countless people have overdosed in the bathroom there. Really? I definitely don't want to hear that as i'm standing in line. When I finally got to the counter the guy pulls up my reservation and starts looking for the keys for the 20' truck I reserved. Surprise they don't have any 20' trucks even though his system is telling him they do. Whatever, I need a truck. They then proceed to drive me to ANOTHER location to get me a tiny truck. This place made my move a nightmare. Don't even consider using the place.BRIAN C.

This is not the correct address! They don't keep trucks here, so you have to drive 20 minutes away to get the truck at a different location. I walked, so I had to wait for someone to drive to me, and then had to drive there. This whole experience added 45 minutes to my day of which I was not prepared for (paying movers an extra 45 minutes to do nothing). Very disappointed.Todd Y.
It seems that the systems were not working properly to update the driver on the reservation in a timely fashion. It also seemed to complicate things since I paid online before arriving, something that I thought would make my experience smoother. I also wasn't given a piece of equipment I paid for or shown out to the truck, I was just handed the keys. There was a long wait and it was a stressful experience.Bradley P.
To whom this may concern, I had the absolute worst uhaul experience, or customer service experience in general, of my life on the 23rd dealing with the people at 1900 w division st. Chicago IL. I've never had any problems with any other uhaul experience in my life, having used them several times I wasn't worried about my decision to choose uhaul, but this one experience may have shifted my entire view of uhaul. On the 22nd of August, I had reserved my uhaul for August 23rd at 1pm. I reserved and paid in full for the uhaul and 48 hours with the uhaul. Assuming that because I paid in full for the uhaul and 48 hours, my uhaul should have been available to me from 1pm and onwards for 48 hours. I received no call or text or email saying that I needed to be there at precisely 1pm. I did however receive emails and a text saying that my reservation and payment were confirmed. I arrived at the uhaul at 2pm not knowing that this would be of any issue (afterall I reserved the uhaul for 1pm and paid in full for the 48 hours after 1pm); but apparently it was a huge issue. They informed me that my uhaul was not there because I was late.. when I questioned why it wouldn't be there even though I paid for the uhaul and the 48 hours with the uhaul after 1pm, the gentlemen "assisting me" began to raise their voices and argue with me. They called their manager and I insured them that I understood that they were just the middle man so I would like to talk to the manager to just try to figure out what was going on... no one could tell me why the uhaul was gone other than yelling at me and telling me that I was late.. it was an infuriating circle of them telling me I was late and me reminding them that it shouldn't matter because it was already paid for ahead of time, and then them telling me that I should have called to tell them that I would be late and me reminding them again that it shouldn't matter because it was paid for and on my time, and that furthermore, no one had called me to see if I was running late or to tell me that I needed to be there at 1 or else the truck would be given away. Needless to say the manager hung up on me.... when I called the number provided to me in my email it ended up being the same mess and when I asked who I needed to speak to in order to get this resolved, again I was hung up on. Meanwhile, the people at the shop told me that I could take the bigger truck available but at an extra charge. I think it's pretty obvious that I was right in declining having to pay more for something when I had already paid in full for a truck that ended up being given to someone who showed up before me and had a later reservation and had not paid in full. If someone else had a later reservation, shouldn't they have had amother truck there for them to take? I found the 1-800 number and called them and the lady on the phone with me this time was very curtious and calm, she said she was talking to her manager about the situation, I aKendra W.
When I arrived they did not have the truck that I had originally ordered. So I had to speak to someone over the phone and re-enter all of my information so that I could switch to be able to rent the truck that was at the location. The man over the phone told me to return the call in 4 hours and that it is available 24/7 to drop off and if there was not parking that they would provide another location for me to drop it off. When I arrived the place was closed, when I called Uhaul they said that it was not a 24/7 location so I was misinformed, and if I were to drop it off at another location I would have a charge. I had to extend my length of the contract to the next day and had to drop it off the following day, and miss a half day of work. Very bad experienceMARY C.

There is no real space to park the truck upon return. I had to pull in front of a fire hydrant outside of the building which is at the intersection with a busy street (Division). Luckily, I was able to stay in the truck while my mom asked what to do with it. The employee said it was fine to just park it and bring the key inside (still blocking the hydrant, which is technically illegal). While we did this, another employee (not in clear uniform) came outside and asked if he could help. He took the truck to a new spot that no longer blocked the hydrant, but this was basically the end of the transaction. They never asked for my name, looked at the truck to see the fuel levels, inspect for damages, give me a receipt, etc. It felt like there was no confirmation of my transaction, and I was putting my trust in these guys hoping that everything was fine with the return.Lindsey E.

I went with using UHAUL because I had a good experience before, but that was not the case. First, update your rental pickup location!!!! I went to pick up my truck at the location that I selected and guess what they not only did not have my truck but they have no long been a location for UHAUL in over a year. What type of service are you providing? Thank fully the people there were able to assist me and told me where my truck would actually. The location UHAUL directed me to was incorrect. I had to track down where my reserved truck actually was, and the same situation happened to several others in the city. This caused the lines to be quite long even for the patient and efficient workers to handle. I waited almost 2 hours just to get to the counter. And the location was much further than my location, which made me PAY MORE for mileage that I shouldn't have had to.Gina L.

I had to call in to fix the pickup time, since I could not make it at the newly assigned time. -I tried calling the number for All Day Tire Shop multiple times throughout the day to confirm them as the new pickup location, but no one ever answered the phone. -When I arrived at All Day Tire Shop, they told me I had to go somewhere else. A last minute change to a second location seemed weird to me. -When I arrived at the second location, they did have my truck and those people were very friendly and helpful, so I have no complaints with them.Benjamin R.
