I was told that a one way trailer I would be refunded for the last day if I returned it early. When I returned said trailer I was told that the rental for a one way trailer was a flat rate and if I returned it early I did not get a refund due to the flat rate. Your website does not state that this is a flat rate and it also does not state that a refund would be issued but your representative did. I filed a complaint and am waiting for resolution. My suggestion is for all staff wether a actual UHaul center or affiliate information should be the same.Daphne D.

The lady who ran the site said she was going to be busy when she called to confirm my rental and asked me to bring my patients- reasonable enough. This lady also asked that I upload my drivers license before coming in to make the process a lot smoother- again reasonable enough. I did both of those of things. Upon entering the location she had no customers, needed three different forms of identification because mine and my boyfriends weren't good enough she needed my moms - mind you we are over 30 years of age. I understand she needed an instate ID - I have an in state ID but she refused to take it. She also sent us the link to the wrong trailer to be rented and confirmed three times. The third time she asked us to take our own photos and said she was going to try again - she made it seem like she was coming back but she never came back(she has 2 driveways one for her storage and one for her rentals). I ended up calling her and she stated I told you to take your own pictures and submit those. We did finally receive the actual trailer link we rented and we're able to submit those pictures and she called me about 10-15 min after we left to see if we were ok. If this were my first UHAL rental I would probably never use you again. She was very unorganized and not very customer friendly.WILLIAM D.

Everything was great. The problem i had is when i requested a certain trailer leaving from killeen Texas, open 5'9 trailer, I was told there was none in my area. So I picked up a trailer from Houston tx and brought it back to killeen. At the drop off uhaul I noticed the trailer i requested at first. Not just one but several. I'm upset because the lack of knowing what equipment was available, I paid 180 dollars when I could have just paid 50. Now I'm out of 130 dollars because uhaul is unaware of what they have available. The standard 6.5' x 12' covered trailer is fine. BUT, the weight of the tongue / hitch is way too heavy for me to pick up and set onto the 2" ball.. This trailer must be heavier in the front while towing empty. Yes, I do understand that, but if you want women to run your stores without having to hire a strong man to assist, this trailer needs a tongue jack. This location has to use a very low floor jack designed for working with very small cars to be hauled around the facility to pick up the tongue and set it on the 2" ball. But you all already know of this problem and you are not fixing it. Why? Money? What if someone - not me- but someone sues you because of the weight? Your open top trailer has a tongue jack!!! Why not the 6.5x 12.Larry W.

I was sent to a location which was too far. Wasted gas and time. I was not physically taken to the truck but instead, was directed to pick it up myself from the field, which made things harder for me. I ordered a furniture dolly, but was told no location in the area had dollies available. I ordered furniture pads and did not get them. Clerk was not able to answer simple questions as to how high the truck is. Overall, a bad experience.Sandra D.

There were no issues with All Purpose Storage or the person there that I interacted with, however, according to that person, the UHaul computers were down and she was not able to complete my "paperwork" on-line - I think she really didn't know what to do in that situation. She ended up taking my information and filling out the Contract Document by hand and sending me on my way. She did charge my credit card, but was not sure how to correctly and exactly calculate the amount. I think she incorrectly calculated the sales tax. I have since been credited that amount and re-billed the correct amount so no issues.Alan G.
