We reserved our trailer at this location well in advance. When we got there, no one was there. When we called the uhaul number number they told us that the guy didn't have the trailer and that we would have to drive over 30min to a different location to get it. When I pushed back and said that we reserved this in advance for this specific location becayse we drove over 3 hours to get there, they said they would call the owner of the facility. When they got in touch with him, he said he would be bring the trailer back from the other location to the one we reserved at but it would take him 30min. Supposedly he was running two locations all by himself. So we waited 30 min...then called....then waited another 30 min and then called amd so on. We waited for over 2 hours till he finally got there. Once he got there he told us it was not him but Uhauls fault because his location isnt even open and they shouldnt be reserving trucks there. At the end of the day, we dont want to be stuck in the middle with whos fault this is because we just see uhaul on his door and the website we rented the vehicle. He also said he only got one call from uhaul (30min before he got there) and showed us on his phone, however none of that makes sense because the uhaul number we were talking to told us they called him multiple times. I have never had this happen. We drove over 3 hours to pickup the truck, so waiting an additional 2 hours really threw our entire plans out of wack and we are pretty upset. This is not worth the small $50 credit uhaul gave us. This should never have happened and should never happen to someone.
