Had a 11 am pick-up time, but the location was closed. They did not have the moving pads and I had to drive to Bend OR to get them (40 mile round trip). Finally got trailor at 2:15 pm.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThere was never anyone at the actual location, but U-Haul has made everything fairly streamlined through the app so you can do mobile pick up and drop off, so I would 100% recommend just getting the app to manage your entire reservation.
Beverly CDropoff after hours was miserable. The driveway to the dropoff area was blocked by a trailer, no way around it. I had to unload and leave the trailer in the driveway, certainly blocking anyone coming after me to drop off. The procedure for dropoff was onerous - trying to unload and take multiple pictures in freezing rain. The procedure locked up or timed out twice and I had to start over twice. I had to back the trailer up in the driveway in order to get my vehicle out because I had to turn it around in a small space and go out the entrance. All in all it was a terrible experience. I can't answer the question about helpful personnel because it as after hours.
Gene SThere are too many text messages and all the directions to scan this / that and send it someplace is confusing. Of course some of this is related to my age.
grant pI think a little more thorough review on how to drive and operate the truck would be helpful. Other than that good experience. Would rent from UHaul again.
