The location close at 4 pm while it is much later on the website. The guy didn't even move from his desk to give me the keys or anything. The vehicle was in a very bad shape even the side mirror was broken. When I complained to the store associate. He stated that he knows of it and had no intentions of switching the vehicle. Fix the glitches on the website. I tried to access my reservation through 24/7 share and it kept telling me I had no reservation, also I told a uhaul employee while making the reservation, that I would be driving the truck and using my debit card so I wanted it under my name and yet somehow they put it under my husbands name when he wasn't the one who made the reservation. My pickup time was decided for me, and my pickup location was changed without my approval. Overall my experience using uhaul this time around was very unpleasant.Denis A.

This rental cost me considerably more than I had planned due to the truck was NOT at the site I had reserved it. I was billed for 15 more miles than I originally budgeted for because of that. Not a good customer experience and would like a refund for 15 miles. Please respond, thank you.Steven P.

I had express check in. But the clerk kept asking me the same questions that I already answered at express check in online. Then he demanded two phone numbers in case I stole the truck. Pathetic. The online tool I used to book my rental changed my rental to a hour round trip pick up. i booked and paid for the truck then revived an email stating a different location. That is fraud.Robert T.

My experience was overwhelmingly frustrating. My vehicle was NOT where I requested and worse i had to drive back and forth because nobody knew what was going on! On top of the fact playing hide and seek set me back behind schedule my vehicle had no gas in it! I am astonished how ludacris my experience was as I do not expect that from Uhaul and I am not sure if I ever want to use their services again!Michael B.

My trailer rental was confirmed at the Atascocita location. Atascocita did not have the trailer. I had to drive 18 miles to get the trailer. Very unhappy. Will look for other options next time. U haul does not do a good job tracking their inventory.David W.
I was charged for two additional days when I only have the truck one additional day they tried to charge me for a dolly tow dolly that had been turned in back in Hutto Texas never left where it was originally picked up in Houston 4 days later charges outrageous prices on gas when truck have one quarter tank and I returned it with one quarter they're trying to tell me it had over half a tank and charge me 63 additional dollars this is extremely poor service and I would not recommend U-Haul to anybody find another wayDionicio D.
My U-Haul truck broke down and had a problem with the gas but you have a preservative send out Triple-A and help me all the way I just did my right hand drop off I really appreciate you all for helping me and I'm very thankful for this service my only advice would be to only send out trucks Agoda long distance that are new and can take the trip other than that thank you you Uhaul... Although this location was pretty decent the overall experience with U-Haul was completely a nightmare. I originally was supposed to get a trailer hitch installed for which I paid in Vance a deposit and was given a specific date to only be told on my moving day that I wouldn't be able to get this hitch installed until the middle of the week. My not being able to get the trailer hitch installed with the wiring kit for the lights I was forced to go to another place to get it done but they did not have the wiring kits for the lights, which caused me to be stopped by the police numerous times during my travel have you all given me enough time to figure out what to do he could've prevented many mishaps along my travel .Rachel S.

The Kuykendahl location was great. HOWEVER, the overall U-Haul experience was a disaster. I had a confiemd rental for a truck from the Veteren Memorial location for 23 hours use. I was called the NIGHT before and told I could not have it for that time period. They made little effort to find me a new vehicle, offered no compensation when I had to drive additional 10 miles each way to get a new truck that I SECURED thru your 1-800 number. From initial contact to post rental contact with this location...The customer service was acceptable and unprofessional. The 10ft truck rented was backed into a tight location that the employee had me squeeze into to get out because he didnt care to do it himself. He never properly documented anything about the truck before I took off including the fuel level which they are now trying to charge me for. There was a stinch inside the truck. The rep Donna the next day was argumentative about the level of fuel truck was returned with despite me knowing that I put more into the truck than what I received it as. I would never rent from Uhaul or refer family or friends there based upon this experience.Temicka C.

I understand you have a time frame, but without indicating there is no ramp on a 10ft truck and having to left everything only two women! That was very inconvenient, and I understand there is a time frame that they have but calling my phone several times because I went over the time limit is unacceptable, there should be know reason for an attitude and when explaining the situation it wasn't even heard, and to be hung up on more then once because you didn't want to hear my explanation. I was extremely put out with U-Haul in general -- as they changed my pick up location and time and didn't call me. The original order indicated that "A local U-Haul representative will contact you to schedule you at the most convenient location with available equipment." There was no phone call even though a phone number was provided. I would have expected a phone call when something as important as "where to pick up your equipment is concerned" -- notification was made via an e-mail -- which I happened to go and check the night before the order pick-up was to occur. (Note: yes, I did identify e-mail as the preferred response -- but the assumption was that e-mail would be used for order confirmation, all of the "paperwork" communication. Again, I would like to reiterate, that something as important as a change in pickup location and change in pickup in time should be communicated "in person" (i.e., phone). Additionally, the appliance dolly that I got did not have operational stair rollers. My order (based on what I requested) was to have 24 moving blankets but we received 11 at check out. The number of blankets per "package" should be either verbally communicated to the renter or be given an "inspection" sticker with the number of blankets in the package. This would facilitate better communication with the renter. The representative at this location was not as adept at manipulating the final checkout process through the U-Haul application/website -- it took a LOT longer than expected to get checked out and on the road -- approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour -- which, in my opinion was about 30 minutes more than it should. The representative did, however, document the pre-existing damage to the vehicle -- which I was appreciative of. Additionally, the representative was not notified of the change either -- as they indicated, they thought the equipment that they had was for a different order. A final re-iteration -- the complaint is with U-Haul overall, NOT the dispatching location. Recommendation: This survey should have a separate comments section so that general complaints do NOT have to go against the dispatching or receiving end locations.THOMAS F.
