We made sure we 'reserved' both the truck and the car dolly months before the time needed. We had to get a much bigger truck than we needed because they did not have our reserved size available. They also did not have the dolly available. Had to go to another location for that. And they didn't install it correctly, caused damage to my car wheels and steering alignment, and had to drive with the dolly for several hundred miles without proper lighting and a broken wheel cover. It was amazing we made it home with the car at all. We were told at the drop off location it had been installed incorrectly.Deborah G.
I was charged for two gallons of gas being added and I filled up the truck to exactly where the tank was when I received the vehicle. It wasn't quite half a tank when I received it. Next time I'll be taking a picture of the gas gauge upon receipt, I learned a valuable lesson about that.FORREST B.

Auto transport should always have a 2nd person to physically assist in attaching and un attaching to tow vehicle because it does not raise or lower straight up or downphilip Z.
The truck was in good condition overall. I felt a bit uncomfortable as a single female picking up this truck at 7am from what looked like an abandoned business. There were fisherman launching their boats for the full hour it took me to get the truck. The reason it took an hour is because Safari couldn't find my location to activate the release but then after an hour of trying all things on my settings I switched to Google and everything was perfect.Jena P.
If you make a reservation, but the location will not have the truck->>> THE LOCATION should call you before you drive overâ€¦. Good Customer Service goes a LONG WAY! I was sent to this location as an alternate to my preferred location. I had to wait while the order was correctly entered and priced as I had done previously. This is a good business but, U-Haul is a secondary business. The person waiting on me did an excellent job given the circumstances. I completed the transaction but was not happy about being diverted to a secondary location.Brian T.

This has nothing to do with Wet Sports/ location. It is the computer, phone, and App systems. It is like they don't communicate with each other. We extended out rental days. One system says one thing and the other something else so I had to wait on a 20 min. Cust. /service call to resolve the issue. other than that pretty efficient.HELEN S.

Charged for gas when there was only 1/4 tank when I picked up. Put in what was there when I picked up and then some and was charged for gas! No one made sure there was the required amount of gas at puck up. Called the location and no one could help. Gave me a number for someone to call and they STILL haven't called me back! Times are hard for everyone right now and I'm being charged for something that should've been taken care of BEFOREHAND. That's NOT my responsibility!!Kathleen K.

I think as a company you need to update your policy on the posted speed limits set for your trailers. With highway speeds set to 70 MPH and you have your trailers set to 55 I felt like I was going to get run over or crashed into from behind at such a slow speed. So no I would not rent from UHAUL again. It did not feel safe at that speed while all were maintaining the posted speed limit of 65-70 on the freeway.Bob S.

I was told by the U-Haul location that I reserved the truck and car trailer that the location of pickup would have ropes/lock. They had none of those and we had to go to another store to buy these items. It took forever to get the truck - this was not a U-Haul store this was a surf store. The guy was nice, however, the truck was not clean and a cock roach was in the cab.Carrie B.
Good experience. There was an equipment problem with the trailer I was picking up and the nice young man quickly switched me over to another trailer so I would not be delayed. He let me know I might have difficulty unhooking the trailer by myself if I dropped it off after they closed. I'm glad he warned me because I was able to bring something to help me get it done (a milk crate). Good experience and a good value.James C.

It was not clear where to return the trailer and there were not any personnel around. Poorly run operation. I dropped the trailer off on 8/7 at the location in Beaufort, SC which was almost an hour drive from my house. I finally received a receipt on 8/30 and it says that I returned the trailer in Jacksonville, FL. The Beaufort location was just a lot. There did not appear to be any sort of storefront. Took forever to get ahold of someone by phone. Also the Uhaul ap was not working at the time and I could not return the trailer via the ap even thought this was just an empty lot. You should at least have some sort of signage available at the location.Stuart G.
