Pathetic joke of an experience from start to finish. Truck wasnt ready for pick up as scheduled and arranged and confirmed online the day before, I had to sit for more than an hour to pick up truck, had to traipse through ankle deep mud to get to vehicle on pick up, vehicle dirty and difficult to drive, online customer service and telephone customer service had unacceptable wait times, on return mud and contaminated creek water was knee-deep instead of ankle deep. Replace your parking lot. The pot holes could cause someone to get seriously hurt. You'd have a serious law suit on your hands. I could not see the pot holes for the water. Customer service was great & helped me out on getting a smaller truck. Outside of the pot holes I'd rate them 5 stars.Judy N.
My truck location was changed the day of pick up The new place I went to pick up the truck could not find the truck at first, too them a long time I felt like I was being rushed The front of the truck was a little dirty not a big deal But the back of the truck was so dirty I had to clean it out myself before I could put any of my belongings in there, not a good experience at all Very Unsatisfied, Unhappy and upsetFrancis S.

Pick up was an absolute nightmare. It took me an hour to get the rental. I watched the computer advance to a screen three times where the associate was unable to advance and finish my reservation. I completed online check in and paid, but it did not show up in their system. He cancelled my reservation, tried two more times and then called the owner who did it over the phone. Despite the associate telling the owner that I did not want SafeMove, it was included. The associate refunded the amount to me before I left. The associate was not at fault here from what I could see, but the time it took was wholly unacceptable.Lori M.
Unrelated to this location. If you make a u- haul rental reservation with your preferred store but your pi k location is changed to another. It would be nice if uhaul sent a notification to update the rentor of this prior to the pickup dateCorey B.

My truck was full of roaches, my fault for not bringing this to the attention of the management, I was on a tight time line and could not go back in to let them know and was too exhausted to remember when I turned the truck in, just an FYI for the future, otherwise it was a smooth quick professional transaction.GIOVANNA B.
More lighting where the drop off location is. It's pretty scketchy having to do all of the turn in with no lights. Doesn't feel or look safe at all. I will say the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very professional and understanding of the situation that I had been through with my rentals.James L.

We filled the gas tank to the level needed, charged $31.80 extra because they had to process it! We have gas receipts, charged for late fee $20 we had truck back by 8pm of which ok, but charged late fee, cleaning $25, the truck was clean, nothing was left in that truck? The man said he didnt know me n had nothing against me they had to process all those up charges! I do not wan to do business nor know that man. I would not do that kind of business to know person. I want you to please check my rental history with uhaul. This location tries to get you a contract with payment made with a given mileage instead of day's rent or mileage used. I disputed the previous rental and refused that kind of contract this time around. When you return your rental, they do not come out and inspect the rental in your presence. To me, they are up to something. I will never rent from this location anymore.Mohamed B.

The pick-up location people were very kind. That is where the positive ends. I picked up the truck to find fast food trash on the floor board. The cab was not dirty and unkempt, but more towards nasty and grimy. Simply gross. I responded..."looks like a homeless person lived in the cab". The more I think about it, I think that was the case. The location advised me that as a pick-up location they only provide vehicles as the last renter left it. Really? The drop-off location advised that there is an inspection check list whenever a truck is dropped-off. Oh, and the ramp was stuck. I spent 4 hours climbing into the bed of the truck because no one checked the ramp. I am absolutely disgusted with the condition of the truck. From a international company. Gross. Nevermind the questionable tread on the tires...travel safely much, U-Haul?? ...and, the awesome texts from the U-Haul representative advising that I could be paid $25(!) for transporting a trailer from Florida to Colorado for U-Hauls benefit. Wow! Thanks, U-Haul...$25 would surely cover the cost of 10 miles of fuel. Funny how the text messages are now gone. Oh, and the U-Haul representative advised me that they would go ahead and hook up the trailer and I could decide upon arrival if I wanted to help out an international company in cutting there costs! Wow! My lucky day. Absolutely disgusting, cheap tactics which significantly diminished the brand name that I previously had a high opinion of. Absolutely gross truck cab, no working ramp, questionable tire tread, horrible attitude towards a customer. U-Haul, maybe re-evaluate your tactics?Ryan M.

Not a place you want to be dropping off after hours. It was after hours and the place is dark with water everywhere. We get to the facility a little after 6, but the employee would not help us. We had to call U-Haul and after waiting for over 40 minutes we talked to a very nice customer service person who helped us check the truck in.TINA M.

I had 2 trucks promised from different location, finally had one all set but upon arrival at 7:00 AM to pick up they informed me they had no reservation for me. They called and made another reservation for me to pick up @ 10:00 we finally got a truck at 11:00. 4 hours late. Upon returning truck before 10:00 AM the next day we filled our check in sheet to avoid the $20.00 After hour service charge. After getting home later we received our receipt by Email and the Charge for After hour service fee ! I have used U-Haul Loyally, but after this experience I will not recommend or use your services again.DAVID S.
This guy gave me a truck whose mom's attic leaked all over my family photos and ruined the photos of my father who had just passed away. Which was the reason I was moving. The trailer tires were dry rotted and one blew out on the way about 200 MI from when I left. The check engine light came on 25 miles outside of Jacksonville and it turned out to be 3 quarts low of oil. Due to all of the setbacks my 10-hour trip took 15 hours. I was charged $800 for this. When I called the guy and ask him if he checked any of the fluids in the vehicle he said no. I said so you didn't check any of the fluids for my safety? Like the brake fluid transmission fluid or engine oil? His reply was no we don't check the fluid. All we look for is dents and scratches.. I wish I would have known that U-Haul was so nonchalant about the safety of their customers I would have never given you my money. In fact I'm livid and if there was any way I could just stop payment I would. I've never been so mad in my entire life nor have I ever had such a terrible moving experience with a company.JAMIE S.

We made sure we 'reserved' both the truck and the car dolly months before the time needed. We had to get a much bigger truck than we needed because they did not have our reserved size available. They also did not have the dolly available. Had to go to another location for that. And they didn't install it correctly, caused damage to my car wheels and steering alignment, and had to drive with the dolly for several hundred miles without proper lighting and a broken wheel cover. It was amazing we made it home with the car at all. We were told at the drop off location it had been installed incorrectly.Deborah G.
I was charged for two gallons of gas being added and I filled up the truck to exactly where the tank was when I received the vehicle. It wasn't quite half a tank when I received it. Next time I'll be taking a picture of the gas gauge upon receipt, I learned a valuable lesson about that.FORREST B.

Auto transport should always have a 2nd person to physically assist in attaching and un attaching to tow vehicle because it does not raise or lower straight up or downphilip Z.
The truck was in good condition overall. I felt a bit uncomfortable as a single female picking up this truck at 7am from what looked like an abandoned business. There were fisherman launching their boats for the full hour it took me to get the truck. The reason it took an hour is because Safari couldn't find my location to activate the release but then after an hour of trying all things on my settings I switched to Google and everything was perfect.Jena P.
If you make a reservation, but the location will not have the truck->>> THE LOCATION should call you before you drive overâ€¦. Good Customer Service goes a LONG WAY!
