Kevin R.The truck was old, poorly maintained and a safety hazard, pretty much. Issues with brakes, check engine light on, no passages seatbelt, truck won't go pass 55mph on highway. Add all that to poor customer service. This was my worst ùhaul experience ever.

Juan M.This wasn't the location I was to pick up the trailer!!! I called the place in Manvel the morning I was to pick up the trailer and spoke to a gentleman there. I checked to see if the trailer was there and told him what time I would be picking it up since it was later than I had told them I would be there. He told me no problem it would be there for me. Something just told me to call later that afternoon and they had let someone else have my trailer I had reserved. I had to go to Houston to get a trailer after having reservations to get one by my home. The gentleman was very nice that I had to go to Houston to get the trailer. It was a very big inconvenience for us to have to go pick the trailer up in Houston. What is the purpose of making a reservation only to have them release the trailer out from under you? This is not good business!

Yesenia C.Although this location did an exceptional job, my complaint is with U-HAUL in general. I made a reservation for this trailer 3 weeks in advance only to be called the evening before and told that the location I chose near me would not have the trailer. Instead i was forced to drive an hour away to get the trailer I needed and then an hour back home in Houston traffic. When i was done with the trailer and went to the selected drop off location, i was told that they were not accepting trailers and that i would have to call the help line to find a drop location. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes waiting to talk to someone, they were finally able to find me a drop location. However it was over an hour away. Once i finally got to the drop location, no one was there to accept the trailer. I then tried to complete the online drop off procedure only for the app to fail and not allow photos to upload from my phone. I had to again get on the phone with the help line to manually check in the unit. In all, the experience was horrible.
David P.The truck was filthy. I had to clean the cargo area when I picked it up and again before I returned it. The truck itself had more dents and scratches then they showed on pictures. Took a lot of time having to take and up load pictures in the hot sun. There was no lock on the driver's side door. The brakes were to the floor. Had to drive slow and coast down to get it stop to avoid accidents.

My fiancé had questions about what he was paying as anyone would once he walked off the man said “i catch him here by hisself i whoop his ass, he has a bad attitude, i will whoop his ass.†While in there two black women came in, asking about the uhaul code for their reservation, they were respectful and needed help, he kept dismissing them and wouldn't offer them any help. Not trying to make anything about race but the way we're treated here is disgusting. Uhaul engine light was on, makes a weird noise. I was nervous while driving thinking it would break down and the side view mirror was broken upon pick up. Due to having to move ASAP and all actual uhaul places near me fully booked this was my only choice. Also we needed the uhaul until the 5th due to our living arrangements right now. We offered to pay, he would not let us keep it until we were done. Even though he has 5-6 other uhaul trucks parked outside of his establishment. This caused us to have to pay for a monthly storage that we only need for 2 days now. Y'all have fun with renting from him though.
